As a season subscriber to Broadway at the Paramount in seattle, we are given a QR code for free parking the night of the event. Parking used to be fine until this nightmare company took over. They seem understaffed and evenings are chaotic at the parking garage. I just got called by a collections agency that metropolis sent me to, claiming that I didn't pay. No shit. The QR code got me in and out but they're claiming that I somehow snuck in and snuck out without getting a credit card in or out? LOL What a nightmare company. And they have the audacity to try to squeeze $70 out of me with threats!

I parked in this garage on a Sat. night for less that two hours. The system was very confusing and misleading. I ended up paying $11 for an awful experience. Talked to the Pearl St businesses where I was a customer that night, and they all spoke extremely poorly of the new management. The Metropolis app instructs a person to get validation at participating businesses for free parking. There are NO participating businesses. Avanti says the new mgmt no longer provides a QR code for validation. It was a hassle trying to figure out what the heck was going on. I spoke with other businesses. I went online later that night looking for the best way to make a complaint. I have never seen such overwhelmingly negative reviews. I am astounded that the City of Boulder would continue to employ this this company with all their predatory and misleading policies and incorrect info on their app. Calling City of Boulder tomorrow, as they are closed today. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Aggressive company that entraps users with exorbitant fees and no common sense. Their system needs rational humans in the cyber-AI doom loop I will not park at a metropolitan. Io managed lot. It’s an AI based parking management system straight out of Orwell’s 1984 or equivalent dystopian nightmare, and desperately in need of stiff regulations.

If you are a property owner considering doing business with this company, just don’t. You might attract more business by having a skunk spray your front entrance by comparison.

Scammers, they keep your credit card details and charge you for multiple parkings then tell you “they cant do anything about it”

There sign said $10 parking and they charged me $18. Then they left a ticket on my car telling me I didn't pay, but I had the receipt in my phone. No info on the ticket to get in touch with them only a bar code to send them money. I found there email and explained they were missing a number on my plate and that's why they couldn't find my number. They wanted me to prove the error. They finally corrected it no apology and told me to be careful. I ended up getting there local number from a competitor. The person I spoke to was rude and unhelpful. Don't use this lot! The owner of the company is Alex Isreal.

Metropolis Parking charges unreasonable fees for parking . . $22.00 to park in the 12th South District. The parking fee was more than the cost of the lunch. Plus, they charged a $1.00 parking fee to add insult to injury. I am through patronizing restaurants that do not have free parking. It is simply not worth it. Plus, I work in the tourism industry and will stop recommending our Nashville visitors to the 12th South District, as I do now want blowback from our guests when they are charged such stiff parking fees for an area outside of the downtown business district.

The sundial parking garage in St Petersburg was converted to a metropolis garage. Payable by QR code. They have rates posted hourly on the wall but say event parking rates prevail when there is an event. There was no event today yet the minimum parking charge was $21 instead of the usual $3 an hour which was $2 an hour when it was still a city garage. They are essentially using event parking as an excuse to rip people off when there was actually no event in the surrounding area going on today. Quite frankly I think the City of St Petersburg should be involved and address this. Additionally, the website after you scan the QR code it requires you to put in a credit card number but it offers you no way to prevent saving of your credit card number. It automatically saves your credit card info to their website for future use. Your plate number is already there. Essentially they can automatically charge you whenever they want. Read the other reviews that show that plate numbers are being misread all over the country so if you've ever parked in a metropolis garage, you have to watch your credit card statement thereafter to make sure they don't bill you for misreading somebody's plate somewhere else because they keep your information on file.

Terrible app, terrible interface, and extremely poor and unresponsive customer service. If you use metropolis to manage your parking and validation you are doing a big disservice to your customers and setting them up for a bad first impression and poor experience

On Thanksgiving, November 27th—because nothing says *holiday cheer* like prepaid parking—I responsibly pre-purchased parking from the Metropolis.io website for 1407 Main Street in Dallas. The site gladly took my credit card and reassuringly told me to “drive out when done.” Simple. Elegant. What could possibly go wrong?

Fast-forward a few weeks, and Metropolis popped back into my life with a *violation notice* like an unwanted relative after the holidays: a $10 parking fee (which I had already paid) plus a casual $50 “service charge.” For what service, exactly? The audacity?

Luckily, I had the foresight to take screenshots while purchasing the parking—because apparently parking now requires the same documentation as an international hostage negotiation. I disputed the charge and escaped with my sanity intact.

Metropolis appears to have perfected the art of fleecing customers with questionable fees and extortionist-level service charges. I will never use a Metropolis garage again. There are plenty of places to park without the surprise sequel.

I only recently created an account at Metropolis thinking it would come in handy. I was surprised to find a pending payment on my credit card from them since I didn’t park my car at any lot. I checked my Metropolis account and saw a parking pass in Las Vegas (I live in California). After notifying them and being assured it would be taken care of, the following day I found two new passes in San Antonio and Atlanta.

If there is less than one star for sure they will deserves, I made reservation in Las Vegas hotel and they mentioned that the park is 21$ per a day and when I checked I found they took 21$ per a visit. Imagine how many times you go out and in. After I discovered the differences in payments , I opened a case with them requesting my refund, they requested every single invoice and the hotel reservation and in the end NO Refund because they said it’s valid transactions. DONT BE CHEATED BY THEM

(1) The "hold" on credit card went from 99cents to $9.99
(2) Charges me even with a full validation
(3) Charges me from my EXIT time to whenever it realizes I am gone
Would like to have credit card NOT honor their app
(4) This REVIEW form only allows for one Date of Experience but it happens every single time
I feel sorry for gate attendant who gets yelled at for BAD APP

This whole system feels like a big scam.

We had to use this service in New Orleans, because our hotel has a cooperation with them.

It was horrible. We waited in total 2 hours for talking to people from the hotel, talking to people from the Valet service for metropolis, talked on the phone to people from metropolis (some manager, at least that is what she said she is).

So much waisted time and stress.

Maybe it's just a very badly implemented system. But that does not help us as users and customers.

I parked my rental car in their Westgate lot in Las Vegas for a couple hours in September. Two months later when I'm nowhere near Las Vegas, I get a text saying my card was charged for a 2 night stay in October. Then another charge today, November 5. They associated the rental car plate with my credit card and phone number permanently! I had to go in and remove my credit card, cancel my credit card, and call their customer service to let them know that fraudulent charges are going on my credit card. Nowhere was I given the option to select that I was parking a rental car when I first parked. Beware this company, they will rip you off!! It's not worth the headache, park somewhere else.

I was charged $26.25 for event parking with no signage present, with confusing rates posted on the parking signage. There is no special event parking rate on this sign. Customer service is incredibly rude getting this issued resolved. I will be avoiding this company at all costs.

Insufficient Internet service to utilize the website in the parking lot where they are displaying their QR codes. So effectively you can't pay for parking, and when you get back to your car there is a ticket for $64.50 when the one day parking fee is only $10. Horrible customer service as well when you phone them. Their "chat" window only has an AI bot; you cannot interact in text form with them since there are no humans manning the chat. Which means you don't have a record of your interaction with them.

The government should look into this company. Hilton hotels appear to be teamed up with them on certain Hilton property locations. Shame on Hilton for teaming with this shady venture. I called and you cannot even understand verbally what their " customer service " even says. Somewhere overseas. Zero English. Solution: careful which Hilton property you stay at find another hotel and stay away from any " metropolis owned / managed parking.... I paid when I parked there. A month later I get a random text that I am being charged for parking....appears again...so I called their customer service they say " Tennessee " nope....a few days later I get a letter saying that I owe $65 for a $15.00 parking, plus $50.00 in " notice fee "..... yeah right.... shady as chit.

This company has deceptive ways for extorting money from customers. The parking attendants are ill-informed and I was incorrectly slapped with a notice from this company when their own app was not allowing me to pay to extend my parking. Their business ethics are shameful

This garage management company delivers a consistently frustrating experience: monthly customers are sometimes billed at the hourly rate, the gates frequently malfunction, and on top of steep monthly fees they tack on an unreasonable “service fee.” Worse yet, property has been stolen from vehicles and management refuses to share CCTV footage, showing a complete lack of accountability. Stay away from this service if you can.
