So confusing!
So confusing!! Signage was non-existent. We drove up odd levels and found no handicapped spots. A helpful employee on a golf cart led us to the lower level, which wasn’t marked (at least not where we could find it). Put some signage on those blank walls!
And it was really expensive, with confusing pricing. We scanned and immediately got a refund…what was up with that? Coming back from the museum we were three minutes over and got charged another full hour.
Their website is terrible
Their website is terrible, very difficult to maneuver. Not sure why Northside Hospital would use metropolis considering how terrible the reviews are along with the court case they lost for deceptive practices. Although, considering how poor Northsides billing is, maybe they’re a good match.
CRAP
CRAP.
had 1 parking, but constantly getting prompts for more charges months after.
The worst kind of company
Terrible customer service. Faulty systems. These people are totally useless, unless it comes to stealing your money. I hope they spend the rest of eternity paying for their crimes against humanity. AVOID THESE PIECES OF GARBAGE AT ALL COSTS
I parked in their lot in Savannah
I parked in their lot in Savannah, GA on a weeknight around 6:50 pm in October. I was only there 1 hour 38 minutes and was charged over $22. First of all there are no notifications of prices only a scan code. The customer has no idea how much it is going to cost until you leave. The customer has the right to know the parking rates and then they can decide if they still want to park there. I would never have parked in this lot if I had known what a rip off it was! Especially since the City of Savannah does not charge for parking after 8pm!
Beware! This company is a total scam!
This company is a total scam! The advertised rates are not the same as what they actually charge. I parked in the East Boston location @ 42 Lewis Street Public parking garage from Friday night thru Monday morning w/o ever moving my vehicle. The signage reads: 6hrs - Daily Max = $55. It also reads "Weekends (Sat 5am - Mon 5am) - $20. Based on signage I expected a fee of $115 + whatever administrative % they could add. What I was charged is $409.00 and was told "the rate changed at 5am to 2X the advertised "max daily charge". This happened both times I parked there overnight, two entirely different months. The first time they appeased me by crediting me $150 and they chalked it up to my misunderstanding of the fees because as I took my car out several times that stay, but this time I did not exit at all until Monday morning. It is a total scam and I will be reporting them to the Building Management, the local restaurants and the BBB. BTW there was only one other car in the entire public garage all weekend. There were no local events and I suspect these clowns will soon be out of business.
Scam and sham of an operation that will…
Scam and sham of an operation that will go to all ends to charge usurious and abusive fees. Will be reporting to BBB and anyone else that will listen
Scanned the QR code in the parking are…
Scanned the QR code in the parking are at the Houston Aquarium. The link didn't take me to anywhere to pay. I asked a manager at the Aquarium and he didn't have any answers only that they just switched to the new system. Tried contacting Metropolis but after complaining to the guy, he sent me a useless link. I went upon my day but when I finally wanted to leave, I had to deal with Metropolis again, at least this guy sent me a link to pay. With all the heartache and crappy system, they should pay me for wasted time. If you encounter a Metropolis "managed" parking lot, do not use it!
I scanned thr QR code
I scanned thr QR code, my information popped from almost 2 years ago, I entered the missing info and selected 4 hours i selected 6 hours to see the price. It didn't let me fo back to 4 hours and I was charged for 12 hours. One i got back home i reached out via chat, and they told me that since I selected the longer duration, they couldn't adjust my payment. So in other words, I am out of an extra 50.00 bucks.
The parking lot had very large chuck holes in it. I was really bad. For the money that is being paid, at least they should fix the pavement.
Spring Lot, 602 9th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203
This company is a SCAM
This company is a SCAM. I parked in a client's parking garage for the whole week while working there and you have to pay everytime you drive out. The gate won't open unless you make a payment. Now they came back to say I did not pay twice while going out of the garage.Explained that no way cos the gate won't open if you don't make a payment & all I got is their system did not register the payment. They charged the rental car company $59 for a $6 payment and the customer service lady Jessica was very rude & hung up on me twice.I can see why there is a class action suit against them in Tennessee. They are a FRAUD and SCAM
They are a SCAM
They are a SCAM. New signs posted about pricing fees, not a single one stating event parking fee. Which is usually $20 in my area, and all the other parking lots have no problem putting that sign up. They CHARGED $21. They keep the extra $1 and don’t even mention the $20. Then they ask for a ton of details to check your dispute, assuming that most people won’t have those details saved and won’t take the time to talk to customer support or even NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE in price. Do not use !!
Predatory practice
Predatory practice
This company does not even deserve a star. Can’t imagine why this criminal business is still in operation
If I could give it a zero
If I could give it a zero, I would. We were charged $35.00 for one hour parking. I called to dispute and was told to go through my bank to dispute it. I wonder if it’s a legitimate company.
Metropolis needs to change the notice…
Metropolis needs to change the notice fee policy of $48+ if you don’t pay on time. I use the service for only $3 total and didn’t pay on time and was charge 40 times the amount. Even if it is legal, it is a crooked practice and people will remember this for future generations. Do better metropolis.
If there was a zero
If there was a zero , I would give it to them. Worst service ever. It took them more than half an hour to bring my car. Still charged me for 10hours instead of 2 just because I was 5m over the 2hours. DON'T PARK HERE
Beware Nashville Parkers!
475 Humphreys at. Nashville TN
I’ll never use this online parking service again! They added 2 mins to my parking time in order to raise my charge. I had specifically made certain I was back to my car and off their lot within the 1 hour. Their online chat offered no relief. Simply made the issue worse by keeping me on the chat for several minutes before refusing my request.
Beware Nashville Parkers!!
**1-Star Review
**1-Star Review – Metropolis Parking | Crosstown Concourse Street Lot**
I used the **Crosstown Concourse Street Lot** in downtown Memphis, TN, for the first time, which is managed by **Metropolis Parking**.
During my first visit, I followed the instructions displayed throughout the parking lot. The signs clearly stated that the **first two hours were free**. I scanned the QR code on the sign, downloaded the Metropolis app, and used the parking lot without any issues.
A few days later, I returned to the same location for a dental appointment. Since the app was already installed on my phone, it automatically recognized my vehicle when I entered the garage and started my parking session. **I was not asked to update any information or clearly informed that I needed to take an additional step to receive the advertised two free hours.**
I stayed for less than an hour and left, reasonably assuming there would be no charge because the parking lot clearly advertised the first two hours as free.
Today, when checking my bank account, I was surprised to find a **$5.99 charge** from Metropolis Parking.
I contacted customer service through the chat to find out why I was charged. I was told that I should have scanned **another QR code located on the sign in front of the specific parking space where I parked** in order to receive the two free hours.
This is exactly where I have a problem. **That requirement was not clear to me when I parked.** The app automatically recognized my vehicle and started the parking session, yet there was no clear warning that I needed to complete another step to receive the advertised free parking.
I am not going to waste more time arguing over $5.99. However, I am taking the time to write this review because **the issue is not the amount of the charge. The issue is transparency, misleading communication, and poor customer service.**
If Metropolis Parking requires customers to complete a specific process in order to receive advertised free parking, that process should be made unmistakably clear before a customer is charged.
I hope the management of **Crosstown Concourse** and **Metropolis Parking** review this practice and make the parking rules much clearer for customers.
**$5.99 doesn't matter to me. Transparency, honesty, and respect for customers do.**
Thieves
Parked for 35 minutes at the Lee Street lot in Charleston WV. Site said it was $2.10. Then I leave and get billed $4.38...$1.99 service fee plus taxes on top of the $2.10. For 35 minutes parking?!! THIEVES! Will NEVER park there again.
impressed
I would like to recognize Faith from Metropolis Parking for her exceptional professionalism, leadership, and dedication. She takes outstanding care of the drive and consistently keeps the parking areas organized, safe, and free of improperly parked vehicles. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence are evident every day.
During the four years I have been receiving treatment at the Pavilion, I have seen many employees and contractors in various roles, and Faith stands out as one of the most capable and effective leaders I have encountered. The positive impact she has had on the parking operation is immediately noticeable, and the high standards she maintains reflect the pride she takes in her work.
I was fortunate to see Faith again today, and once again I was impressed by her professionalism, work ethic, and dedication to helping patients and visitors. She goes above and beyond to keep traffic flowing smoothly and ensure the parking areas remain safe, organized, and welcoming. People with Faith's level of commitment and leadership are rare.
Metropolis Parking should be proud to have Faith representing their company at Corewell Health. Her contributions make a meaningful difference every day, and both organizations benefit from the outstanding service she provides. She is truly an asset, and her efforts deserve special recognition.
I was fraudulently charged for $20.77…
I was fraudulently charged for $20.77 for parking in the Chicagoland area - problem - I never left my house that day. I also only have 1 car and they Metropolis said that it was my license plate on a different car. I only own 1 car and I don't own the car that they claim I have. I also also show the registration of the tag to my car. I can prove that I only have 1 car also. If you Google Metropolis and their deceptive practives or reviews; you will see this is a reoccurring problem with this company. They just got sued and have to pay 9m in the state of TN for their practices.
