Not a wise investment and are your ready to release your private information?
I have been asked by Naomi from Matchmaking and their corporate attorney Chase to remove my review and I will be released from my contract.

This is what I wrote to the attorney: Step back please. Let's reframe this. I am the person whose privacy was violated by an Executive member of Matchmaking, who did not follow Matchmaking's policies, as stated by their advocate, in writing and verbally by a second employee.
I am the one who was wronged. If you want the review removed you should refund the entire Matchmaking contract price of $6,995.

I value my ability to write reviews and love saying well done. So this negative review is costing me $$, but honestly, it is more important that you understand how your privacy is "handled" and how women are "processed through."

I am tall, pretty, and athletic. First match said I was stunning. Next two matches were completely inappropriate. The second man had difficulty walking. It has now been 8 months without a match.

When I signed up I was told there was a large pool of men and in fact 2 guys were just perfect for me. I did ask how large the pool was, but was never given an answer. My bad for not obtaining that information

So ladies, they really are NOT there. I paid $7K and have had 3 matches in 17 months. I may be 85 by the time I have met all 8 of my matches. That was not my plan.

My third match told me that he had started in February and had a match every month. So if you are a guy, perhaps you will have more opportunities.

Yes, my MM was to call me, didn't. So I wrote an email and sent a text to explain my concerns and basically was told, "you signed a contract."

Sorry, I made a bad investment based on an enthusiastic sales person and at an emotional moment of loss.

Ask about the pool of people, ask how frequent are the dates, ask how many MM folks they have working on your behalf for starters.

And the most recent "match" was given my name, my location, and my date of birth. He elected to research me and call me and left at best a rather "socially awkward" messagee, not once but he called three times.
This personal information was released without my consent. It was an "executive" review. The MM participants pay $20k to join the Executive program.

Don't sell yourself. I am sorry that I have to say this. Be informed and don't sign a contract with Matchmaking without having a heartfelt evaluation of the pros and cons.

Lenicia has been great throughout this whole experience. It is not easy finding the right match and she has helped me by being a good listener and giving great advice throughout the last 3 months.

Shallyce is very professional, insightful, and easy to work with. She is a great listener and builds trust with her client (me). She gentle leads you through your issues to develop a strategy. I am so glad that I work with Shallyce.

The coaching calls were extremely valuable in helping me prepare for my matchmaker dates, and setting up a purposeful framework towards having romantic relationships.

This is awful, I could have done better in a bar. You pay a lot of money for a service that was the worst - went on 4 dates, none lead to a second date, 3 of the guys had health issues like my husband who I lost. I am not interested in becoming a caretaker AGAIN, not to mention there was no chemistry, plain awkwardness, I did what I could do to just get through the date- this company is just plain awful. I would not recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing.

Working with Cecilia has been one of the better decisions I’ve made in this process. She’s introduced me to some quality people, and you can tell she’s actually thoughtful about who she puts together — it doesn’t feel random.
She also gave me a lot of grace when I fumbled a scheduling situation, which I appreciated more than she probably knows. And when I had bigger questions about dating and relationships, she was willing to engage with those too — even helping me find a coach to work through some of it.
Genuinely kind, patient, and good at her job. Highly recommend.

My experience with my matching coach Shalysse has been absolutely amazing. She was such a great coach, very supportive, insightful and helpful in all of our conversations throughout this ongoing process in my journey to find the potential partner for me.

My introductory interview went very well. However this person does not make the matches. The person who does make the matches made unappropriate matches based on God knows what. They did not respond to my feedback or multiple requests to talk personally to the matchmaker.

As of this writing, I have been a client for over 10 months and still have yet to go on any dates.

As others have mentioned, they simply give you a phone number, and you figure out the rest. THIS IS A BROKEN BUSINESS MODEL. They claim better curated matches and a more engaging experience than dating apps....but the same issues still exist as two women I matched with just ghosted me prior to even talking on the phone or meeting up. I asked the matchmaker why she thought the lady was a good fit for me and her response was "she's really pretty.",,, reflecting the level of compatibility analysis provided. We all know looks alone cannot sustain a long-lasting committed relationship. They will advise you to trust the process without clear communication or road markers on your journey.

Don't believe the hype of them having lots of people in their database waiting for you...if none of those people meet your criteria than it's a moot point. You may get paired up with matches simply to help burn up your matches to meet their obligations. They probably should not have taken me on as a client if they anticipate it would be difficult to match me. Yes they will offer trite reminders that dating can be arduous. We all know that..if it were easy than no one would need your services. But we are not getting any younger, and if you are expected to wait months - potentially years between matches, then it seems counter-productive to your mission statement. They may advise you to check in with your matchmaker to see what is happening.

But if you are paying top dollar as a client, then why do you need to remind them that you even exist?

I found out from our first couple of dates that she was a wonderful woman who had many things in common with me. We both placed our future match making on Happy hold. From my first interview and phonecall I have received stellar professional help in finding
a compatable match. I have received an introduction to a wonderful man that has met all my criteria and am very happy to have met him!!

I signed up with The Matchmaking Company in Princeton, NJ in March 2025 and paid $3,000 for their services. Their materials state that introductions generally occur within 3–10 business days after processing.

I submitted all requested information promptly. By the 11th business day, no introduction had been made and no meaningful progress update was provided. Based on the stated timeframe, I requested cancellation and a refund.

After I requested cancellation, I was presented with a match. The proposed first meeting was described as a four‑hour fine dining dinner costing up to $150 per person. Based on the communication, I understood that I would be expected to cover at least half, if not the full expense. This did not align with what I had previously been told — that initial meetings are typically simple, such as coffee or lunch — so I was not comfortable proceeding.

In subsequent email communication, a company representative stated they would never introduce a client “to bait them” and offered to speak further. However, the company ultimately declined to issue a refund.

I disputed the charge with American Express and provided documentation. After review, American Express reversed the charge.

According to my credit report, the account was first reported to credit bureaus on December 12, 2025, and later updated on March 18, 2026. I formally dispute that I owe this balance, as I do not believe the agreed-upon timeline was met.

Prospective clients should carefully review the contract terms, understand the cancellation policy, and document all timelines.

If I could give this company no stars I would! This company is fraudulent! They take people’s money, and then do not deliver what they promise. They prey on people’s loneliness, and “ suck” them in by pretending to offer a great service. Customer service is non existent. If you want to flush money down the drain, then they will help you do it! Taking a substantial amount of money from you while selling the promise of compatible matches that the company is unable to deliver raises serious concerns about exploitation and harassment!
In my opinion, this reflects a deeply misleading and exploitative business practice. They deliberately mislead clients and operate unethically and dishonestly, assuming that once a contract is signed, it gives them the right to take payment without delivering the promised services. The company’s responses to reviews appear to be automated and repeatedly reference vague “next steps,” yet those steps are never clearly defined. At this point, the only meaningful next steps would be either providing a genuinely compatible match that meets the stated criteria or issuing a refund. This company appears to care more about collecting money than protecting or respecting their clients—especially women. There was zero accountability, no empathy, and no effort to resolve the situation in a fair or ethical way.

I strongly urge anyone considering this service to think twice. If you are looking for a safe, respectful, and supportive experience, this is not the place. My experience left me feeling deceived, manipulated, and deeply disrespected. No one should have to go through something like this and be treated as though it doesn’t matter.

After 3 hours of interview and committing to thousands of dollars, my first encounter was a disaster. The gentleman they matched me with did not meet my criteria in any way, shape, or form. No attraction whatsoever!

Do not use this company to meet your forever person because it won't happen. They are non compliant when it comes to meeting the criteria set forth and all they want to do is fulfill their obligation that you meet 3 separate people. They don't consider compatibility, attraction, personality, common interests. If they did, my very first match would have had some matchability, but all my first experience did for me was to be discouraged and not use them any further. They could not possibly prove to me they weren't just scamming me! I made it clear to Tracy what I was looking for. I even showed her photos of the type of guy I was looking for. I was totally ignored. They promise 3 dates and they deliver 3 dates that will not suit you whatsoever!
