I would definitely NOT recommend this…
I would definitely NOT recommend this dating service. I signed up March 6, 2026 and have had 1 legitimate date!!!! It is now almost July 1st and they have literally ghosted Me. Whenever I reach out I’m sent the same automated message!!
I'm a client that's retired and always available to go on a date 24/7!!
In addition to the one date I had, several months ago, the following reasons below should be enough for you to run, not walk, away from this company:
1. There's a total lack of communication on the matchmaking companies matchmakers to reach out unless YOU reach out and even then, I'm still waiting for a 2nd date for almost 2 months!! When I signed up they stated “ that there were so many men in my age range and what I was looking for!!”
The reason I joined this expensive and promising company was to avoid dating APPS and to meet quality men. Now, I signed up with several dating apps and meeting several quality men and going on dates weekly!!
3. Their costs are very high for the service promised and provided.
The more YOU call them, the more they change your agreements and/ or their guidelines, as to information they can share about their clients or your potential dates!!
So, don’t waste your time and money on this overpriced and under experienced company…. Join the apps and surround yourself in places where you’ll meet quality people and you will!!

While you chose not to meet your first introduction, we continued our search and provided another introduction approximately one month ago, which falls within the typical timeframe for personalized matchmaking.
Our records also reflect that we have remained in regular communication with you throughout your membership. We respectfully disagree with the statement that you have been "ghosted."
Our goal is not to move quickly through a membership by providing introductions simply for the sake of meeting a number. We believe quality is more important than quantity, and our Matchmakers take the time to identify individuals whom they believe have genuine compatibility based on each client's preferences, values, and relationship goals.
We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to helping you find a meaningful connection.
Hard core pressure to buy, lied to me put me in harms way
Hard core pressure to "purchase" a service. Advertised timelines are not met. They did not READ my file. Deal Breakers for me were: I did not want to be a Nurse, I did not want to be a Purse, and specific on Politics.
Matchmaker called with a "date". First off the Politics was totally unacceptable. Pressure to go on the date anyway. I agreed to meet this person. Matchmaker called back 5 minutes later to tell me this man had a stroke, and not to be worried. I stated again, I do not want to take care of anyone. She said he was fine, didn't need any help, etc. When the man called me I could not understand him, because his speech was affected by the stroke. Not good. I agreed to meet and asked him how I would recognize him. He said he was in a wheelchair. I CANCELLED the date. I asked for my money back, several times. Very upset. Two weeks later another Matchmaker called me with a new date. I said I wanted my money back, he said I would never get it. Later the first Matchmaker called me back to calm me down. Said she had the perfect date, hard core pressure to accept. They are suppose to vet all clients for background - fraud, crimes, bankrupts, etc. I agreed to have lunch with this man. All he did was talk about himself, his ex wife, his deceased girlfriend. Very pushy Never asked one question about me. The next day I texted him to politely say I was not interested. Then I started getting threatening texts. I reported this to the Matchmaker - I printed out all the texts. I asked for my money back, she said I would never get it. I do not trust these people, they lied to me, they put me in harms way. Do Not Ever use this company.

We also take client safety very seriously. When concerns were brought to our attention regarding an introduction, they were documented and addressed appropriately. While we conduct background screenings as part of our process, we cannot predict or control an individual's behavior after an introduction has been made.
Regarding your refund request, the terms of your membership agreement, including the cancellation and refund policy, were reviewed and acknowledged at the time of enrollment. While we understand your disappointment, we remain confident that our team acted professionally and in accordance with the membership agreement.

I would like to know what that lady did with my personal information? When I told I wasn't going to pay that much for their service she took my with my information and threw it in the bottom right hand drawer of her desk and crossed her arms and told me to think about it. It’s all about money, deception and coercion
Do not do businesses with this company there is nothing honest about them. This company WILL swindle you out of your money and lie and tell you whatever to get you to trust them. They have a recruiter who persuades you to go in. These people will not take no for an answer and keep pushing.. they ask you how much you make and create a "special discount pricing" only for today and push to get as much money from you. When you say no, they offer a cheaper "special pricing" and tell you only for today through coercion, manipulation and pressure you into purchasing. Typical high-pressure sales tactics. You believe everything they've told you about the program and they make it seem like every client chooses from these packages because if other clients are investing, that means they're as serious about the program as you are.. so you think. They never tell you're signing a contract. They tell you sign here initial here by this point you trust everything they're saying, but they're being very deceptive because every time they tell you something, they never look you in the eye. They make you pay absorbs amount of money and they recruit people for free and match them up with you. Even when you ask, they lie to you about your Match paying and have even changed documents on your preferences just to match their narrative. The company representative Chase Overstreet is very rude and takes what you say out of context and when you give feedback you're called a liar. He openly admitted the company does not care if you read their contract or not (which they purposely have you unknowingly sign). There's no way for you to find out any of this UNLESS you file complaints, fight back for your money or take them to court. That's when they openly admit everything they hid from you in regards to the matches not paying "promotions" while they charge you or give you "special pricing". The best thing you can do file multiple complaints to the state attorney, FDACS, etc. They say they've been around for 25 plus years but has only been actively registered for 4 years.. you can't believe anything they tell you... all they care about is your money and how much they can get out of you..

Our consultation process is designed to provide prospective clients with detailed information about our services, pricing, membership options, and the membership agreement before any enrollment decision is made. Clients are under no obligation to enroll and are encouraged to review the agreement and ask any questions they may have before signing.
We would also like to clarify that not every individual we introduce is a paying client. Some participants are complimentary members who have been selected because we believe they may be a strong match for one of our paying clients. This allows us to expand the pool of compatible introductions and create more opportunities for successful matches.
Additionally, we categorically deny the allegation that client documents were altered or that information was intentionally misrepresented. Our records reflect that your preferences and feedback were documented throughout your membership and that introductions were made based on those preferences, mutual compatibility, and availability.
Your concerns have already been fully addressed through the legal process, which concluded in the Company's favor. Throughout that process, we remained willing to continue providing the matchmaking services outlined in your membership agreement. However, you requested that we no longer contact you, and we have honored that request.

This is a scam
This is a scam. Filled out all the info and next thing I know I’m getting calls about loans from different numbers. After I block report spam and delete, I get called by a new number. Filling out their form is the only connection to the spam calls about loans. No one ever called or emailed me from The Matchmaking Company.
Sad too because I don’t know how Trust Pilot missed this.

If your idea of matchmaking is filling…
If your idea of matchmaking is filling out questionnaires similar to online dating profiles, paying premium prices, and then leaving the rest to strangers, this may be the service for you.
While successful matchmaking requires both expertise and a genuine effort to understand clients, my experience left me questioning whether either was consistently present. From my first match, I openly communicated my concerns, particularly regarding what was promised during the "sales" process. While engaging and persuasive, I never felt truly heard. The same pattern continued with the two matchmakers assigned to me.
I am still awaiting a call from Elizabeth that was promised in February, and Isabella has been excellent at saying, "I'll connect with you next week." Unfortunately, those follow-ups rarely materialized. It has now been over a week since I requested contact information for a supervisor or complaints department. Historically, whenever I raised concerns, one of the matchmakers would reach out, but meaningful consideration of my feedback never seemed to follow.
At times, it felt as though my stated preferences were used as a guide for what not to match me with. When I expressed concerns, I often felt positioned as the difficult client rather than a paying customer seeking the service I purchased.
To keep things light, my friends have certainly enjoyed hearing about what became an unexpectedly entertaining dating adventure.
Match #1, "The Cowardly Lion," communicated almost entirely in vague generalities and somehow managed to avoid answering, and did while speaking in plurals. Still living at home?
Match #2, "The Tin Man," did not have a vehicle, stood me up twice, and eventually attended a free event I was hosting after borrowing Auntie Ann's car. He later invited me to my own church.
Match #3, "The Scarecrow," was the most concerning. Although background checks were reportedly completed, he actively participated in one of the two deal-breaker activities I had clearly identified as non-negotiable. Combined with a volatile temper, the experience left me feeling both drained and uncomfortable.
Of course, dating involves getting to know people and discovering compatibility. No matchmaker can predict chemistry. However, many people invest in professional matchmaking services to increase the likelihood of meeting individuals who share similar values, goals, and relationship intentions. That foundational level of compatibility should not feel optional.
I understand that life circumstances vary. Living with parents, returning to school at 45, or focusing on debt repayment can all be admirable choices. What is less attractive is using those circumstances to explain why someone believes they cannot meet a partner's expectations. That's a personal insecurity to address, not a compatibility issue for someone else to carry.
I recognize that matchmakers cannot know every detail about every client they introduce. However, none of the matches I received remotely resembled what I communicated I was seeking. Friends and family who know me well were consistently surprised by how poorly aligned these introductions were.
Had I encountered these individuals on a dating app, most would have received an immediate left swipe. Instead, I paid a significant amount of money for a service that promised personalized matchmaking and delivered experiences that felt random at best and concerning at worst.
At the end of this journey, I am left with a smaller bank account, diminished enthusiasm for dating, and a collection of stories that sound more like a dating-themed fairy tale gone wrong than a premium matchmaking experience. Update: After posting my review, I was asked by the company to remove it. Since 6/25, I have yet to hear from upper management. According to Isabella, they are "very busy," but somehow had time to reach out when the purpose of the call was to present another match and encourage me to take down my review. She again said her famous, next week line.
As she stated, my review may be deterring my match from finding me. Oh no!! Respectfully, this is not a desperate plea to find a man. This is a customer service issue, and if that was not clear from my original review, I am happy to clarify.
I have accepted the matches provided. I understand that matchmaking involves trial and error and that allowing someone else to help find a connection comes with uncertainty. I never expected perfection or a guaranteed relationship. What I did expect was communication, honesty, and follow-through from the company I invested in.

The interview sell was great. The reality was different. The matchmaker doesn’t respond. The matches so far have been way off, don’t meet criteria at all. You can do better on free apps than this very costly farce.

Protect those you love...
My family has had a very disappointing experience with The Matchmaking Company.
My father signed up for their services and paid $5,000 during one of the most difficult periods of his life. At the time, he was going through a devastating divorce, battling Stage IV prostate cancer, and struggling with severe emotional and mental health challenges that ultimately resulted in hospitalization.
Given his circumstances, we believe greater care and compassion should have been exercised before accepting such a significant payment. We have since requested a refund and asked the company to review the situation in light of his documented medical and emotional condition.
This review is not about the concept of matchmaking services. It is about how companies treat vulnerable individuals during times of extreme personal hardship. We are disappointed by our experience and hope the company will do the right thing by reviewing this matter fairly and issuing a refund.
I encourage anyone considering these services to carefully evaluate the costs, terms, and commitments involved before signing an agreement.

We take concerns regarding our clients seriously and strive to treat every individual with professionalism, respect, and compassion. However, we respectfully disagree with the characterization that our company acted improperly in accepting his membership. Matchmaking services are designed for adults seeking companionship, and enrollment decisions are made based on the information provided during the consultation process.
We understand that personal circumstances can change after enrollment, and we have reviewed the concerns that have been brought to our attention. While we recognize that this has been a difficult period for your father and your family, membership terms and conditions are outlined in the agreement reviewed before enrollment.

Disappointing experience
I’m sharing my experience with The Matchmaking Company so others can make an informed decision.
I signed up for a package that included 12 quality matches for a significant fee. Based on the sales process and onboarding, I expected personalized matchmaking, consistent communication, screened introductions, and matches that reflected the preferences I discussed in detail during the questionnaires and multi-hour consultation before signing the contract.
Unfortunately, my experience did not match what was presented. The quality of the introductions were disappointing and, in my opinion, below what I have experienced using dating apps. A couple of matches did not respond to initial communication or ghosted before the initial meet-and-greet.I had clearly communicated that I was looking for matches within a certain age range, with compatible political values, and with similar long-term relationship goals. Several introductions did not appear to reflect those preferences. For example, I was matched with people outside my stated age range (they were 17 years younger) and with political views that were specifically discussed as important compatibility factors during onboarding.
I tried to address these concerns through conversations with the matchmaking team, but I did not feel that my feedback led to meaningful changes. Over time, it felt less like a personalized matchmaking service and more like I was being moved through a process so the company could count introductions toward the package.
The lack of communication was one of the most disappointing parts of the experience. Communication was inconsistent at best, and I often had to initiate follow-ups with my assigned matchmaker. At times, I went months between meaningful communications, which was frustrating given the cost of the service and the expectations set when I signed up.
I understand that matchmaking cannot guarantee a relationship or even mutual interest from every match. However, I did expect the company to provide the level of personalization, communication, and care described during the sales process. Based on my experience, I would not recommend The Matchmaking Company to someone looking for a transparent, personalized matchmaking service.
For anyone considering them, I strongly suggest asking detailed questions in writing before signing a contract, especially about match criteria, communication timelines, what counts as a “quality match,” refund policies, and exactly what is included in the package. I would have felt differently if the company had been more responsive to feedback or had adjusted the approach after repeated concerns.

We would like to provide some additional context for those reading your review. You participated in a pre-approval program, which means that each potential introduction was reviewed with you in advance and required your approval before moving forward. This process provides clients with additional input and control over the introductions presented.
To date, 11 introductions have been provided through your membership, and your program remains active with introductions remaining. Of those 11 introductions, 4 did not result in meetings. While we understand your frustration, matchmaking is ultimately a collaborative process, and successful outcomes require participation and engagement from both parties.
We also understand your compatibility concerns. While certain criteria such as age, political views, and relationship goals are important considerations, our Matchmakers evaluate many factors when selecting introductions, including lifestyle, values, personality, mutual interest, availability, and overall potential compatibility. Not every introduction will result in a connection, but each is presented with thoughtful consideration rather than simply to fulfill a quota.
Unfortunately, no matchmaking service can guarantee another person's responsiveness, level of interest, communication, or follow-through once an introduction has been made. While we work hard to facilitate introductions, the actions of another individual remain outside of our control.
We regret that you felt communication could have been stronger throughout your membership. Our goal has always been to provide personalized support and utilize your feedback to refine future opportunities.
While we understand that your experience has not met your expectations thus far, your membership remains active, and we remain committed to continuing the process positively and productively. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best moving forward.

Brittany Johnson is an excellent coach
Brittany Johnson did an excellent job helping me turn my emotions into calmness. Talking with her allowed me time to understand what I was doing internally and externally. It was a great learning experience but having someone like Brittany to talk with and about my behaviors was tremendously helpful going forward. I was not going to get this resolution by any other means. She was also very personal, upbeat and genuinely concerned and interested for me.

Total waste of money and energy!
Times have changed and I understand that most people go on-line to find a partner. As you get older this isn't so easy as there are so many scammers out there.
Unfortunately my experience with the Matchmaking company in Ft Mill was similar; in that they assured me that they would find a suitable match; when in fact they were simply trying to check off a box every 6-8 weeks that they had found an introduction.
And I had nothing in common with any of them. They either lived 2 hours away or were on a totally different path. Don't waste your money. It was $7K wasted! Better to spend your money on nice vacation - because these people don't care!

We also recognize that geography can be a challenge in certain markets, particularly when balancing compatibility with proximity and mutual interest. Our matchmakers work to identify the strongest potential introductions available at any given time, while continuing to refine the search based on client feedback.
We strongly disagree with the suggestion that our team does not care about our clients. Our matchmakers are committed to helping clients find meaningful relationships and invest significant time and effort into the process behind the scenes.
While we understand that the outcome of your membership did not align with your hopes, we appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best moving forward.
Slow response and Matches
I been a client since January 2026 in the Denver Front Range. Only received 3 matches. One match was a no show, but counted against my matches. The other two matches did not match my categories. Only one matchmaker for the entire state of Colorado extremely slow response and does not listen to desired categories. Do not waste money and time with the Matchmaking Company. Not even staff to deliver matches.

We also want to clarify that a no-show introduction is an unfortunate situation that can occur despite our best efforts, and we understand how disappointing that can be. Additionally, while not every introduction will result in a connection, each match is selected based on multiple areas of compatibility and refined through the feedback process.
We strongly disagree with the assertion that our team is not working to deliver introductions. Our matchmakers work diligently to create thoughtful opportunities for clients across all markets, including Colorado.
We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to utilizing your input to continue refining future introductions as we move forward.
Very disappointed
Joined up, went for the cheapest package available as work was quiet at the time and it is fairly pricey. Still shelled out $2500 for a 4 date package. But I thought ok, you get what you pay for. Or do you? After paying and an initial flurry of activity, background check etc......silence. Then I got offered a date with a woman older than myself which I turned down, which was met with disapproval and an argumentative response from my very young sounding matchmaker. I then told her I no longer wished to deal with her and I wanted to speak to a manager. A couple of days later I got a call from my new matchmaker and within a few days she set me up on a date with a woman who could not have been more of a mis match for me. Complete opposites, with nothing in common. And since then, silence. I don't want to call and ask whats going on because I know I'll immediately be paired with someone, anyone, to reassure me that I'm not forgotten. On the other hand I'm wondering if I don't call them, will I ever hear from them again? In my opinion, a waste of very hard earned money.

While we understand that not every introduction will align with your expectations, introductions are selected based on multiple compatibility factors, including relationship goals, values, lifestyle, and preferences.
We also want to clarify that presenting a match outside of a preferred age range was intended as an opportunity for consideration, not pressure, and we regret if the conversation surrounding that introduction left you feeling unheard. After your concerns were raised, a different Matchmaker was assigned in an effort to better support your experience moving forward.
Matchmaking timelines can vary based on compatibility, availability, and mutual interest, and periods between introductions do not mean a client has been forgotten. Our goal is always to make thoughtful introductions rather than simply present matches for the sake of activity.
We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to utilizing the information you've provided to continue refining future introductions as we move forward.
