BUYER BEWARE! TOTAL SCAM!

This company is an absolute scam! It took three weeks for my dress to arrive, long after the event I bought it for, so I had to go out and buy another dress. When it finally showed up, it was a complete piece of junk. The material was cheap and flimsy, there were two giant seams running straight across the chest, and the zipper broke the moment I tried it on.

When I contacted customer service, they had me send photos of the dress on and initially offered me a ridiculous $5 refund and then 20% off my next purchase, as if I’d ever buy from them again! Returning it would cost more than the dress itself since it has to be shipped all the way back to Shanghai, China.

This company should be banned from selling in the U.S. Save yourself the headache — do not order from them!

This company is a complete scam. The clothes are cheap garbage and they will not give you a refund. If you send it back, it is a minimum of $50 to mail it back. Do not order from here, you will regret it.

I have never had such a negative experience trying to return a clothing item. I have been emailing Margovil since May to get a refund. I had to spend $50.00 to ship the dress back that only cost $200 to begin with. I have send no less than 30 emails asking for a status of my refund. They first claimed they never got the dress back. Then they said it is with their return department. I have come to realize they NEVER had any intention of refunding me my money. What a waste of my time and additional money to ship it back. This is SO sleezy and beyond frustrating. PLEASE take my advise and NEVER do business with this very unprofessional company!!!

Do not buy anything from Margovil. They are running a scam. They send you poor quality products and when we ask to return the product for refund, they say keep the product and we will refund you 10-15% of the amount paid. If we insist on returning the product, they give a random address in China and do not guarantee that they will refund our money. It’s a fraud company and do not trust them.

It took 3 weeks to get my order and when it finally arrived it was the WORST FITTING GARMENTS AND THE WORST QUALITY. When I reached out to Margovil they told me that I had to pay for shipping to China to return the order at my expense . STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY they do not back up their product and are very DIFFICULT to deal with.

The absolute WORST. I spent $98.20 on two dresses that looked nothing like the pictures—other than the fabric pattern. I initiated a return the same day I received them, well within their ridiculous 7-day return period. They refused to honor it. Instead, they offered me $10 “compensation” because “you need to pay shipping fee for returning which takes too much. We don’t recommend that you do this for the customer’s consideration.”

Excuse me? For my consideration? Then they told me shipping would take too long anyway—even if I did pay for it! WHAT A SCAM!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible customer service. Emailed that the dress was too small around my chest. Then they asked for pictures to prove it. When I said I didn’t feel comfortable sending pictures of me essentially showing my bra, they didn’t care. Said they needed pictures or no refund. Then after offering a $10 refund and then a $12, I said no thank you. Their response was “Sorry, no label here.” Completely horrible service. I am still going k and forth just to simply get a return adress.

If I could give a lower rating I would! This is the most accurate of actual REVIEWS. When I ordered my dress the site asks if there is anything they need to know before ordering and I said yes, I must have my dress by this date because of an event. Ofcourse no one replied and they still took my money. Long story short I’ve kept all the email proofs of how horrible the customer service is at getting a return/ refund. I explained I was out more money because I had to go find a dress last minute. They didn’t care and it showed up a month later and refused to refund or allow me to send it back to China at my expense! Although when the package arrived it came from Chicago not Asia or China as they claimed. The dress was used and looks like someone had already tried to send it back so they just resold. No tags no receipt other than what’s on my phone. If I can save you from this happening to someone else I’m gonna try. I’ll be glad to post pics of everything if someone is interested.

Bad on me for not looking at the reviews prior to purchase. THEY DESERVE A -10 // DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They want me to send them pictures of me wearing the dresses to assess the return!?! RUN QUICK FIND ANOTHER VENDOR.

Terrible company! I reached out prior to ordering to confirm that I could return with full refund to my original payment. I received in writing “yes”. I requested a refund due to the fit and they requested I take photos. I told them I didn’t believe it’s appropriate to provide photos of myself wearing the item. Fit is subjective. They insisted and then offered me a $25 refund on a $200 purchase. Their customer service is terrible and will not budge. It’s a waste of money to order from them. Stay away!

The absolute worst customer service. I ordered a dress and it did not look good on my body type. I emailed for a return, and the customer service truck said that I have to prove that it did not fit me by submitting a photo of myself in dress. And then argue with me about it. Please stay away. Worst business ever. Still demanding photos and then said it would cost $60 to return ship to them and the dress was $50. It cost $10 to ship to me and $60 for me to ship back? Insane.

Wish I had come here first before purchasing.
Quality is AWFUL -- the most synthetic, poorly constructed garbage. Bought a dress in two sizes and a sweater.
I wrote to them, asking for a refund.
After TWENTY-ONE EMAILS back and forth, they offered me $15!!!!! I can only imagine how they would over-complicate getting that $15 to me. I told them not to bother. That's the price I pay for not doing my research here first.
What a waste of time and money.
Don't be fooled by influencers who pin and manipulate the garments to make them look half decent

I ordered a dress and it was too small. I asked to return this dress and be refunded. The company made me take pictures proving that it was too small. I followed all directions. This company offered me $9 to refund for this $80- dress. They would not budge at all. Horrible customer service. Do not purchase anything from them. They do not take care of the customer.

This company is a scam, they’re based out of China and that is where the items are shipped from and yet advertise as being based in the US.

The products look nothing like what they have advertised online and the quality is nonexistent with a strong chemical smell.

They will not make a return and will play games via their “customer service” email.

Do not order from this company. The clothes were cheap and do not fit correctly. I tried to return them and they would not do it. They offered $12. This was well over $100. Total garbage. 20 emails, required pictures, then said it was too expensive to return and offered $12. Rip Off!!!!

Terrible company, a scammer!!! They will send you a piece of cloth that is shit quality and expect you to pay over $100 and will not send you a return label

It is such a scam. Don’t do it. Clothing is terrible and to return is more than cost of clothing. I was too late in reading these reviews and asked to cancel my order over 25 times and they shipped anyway. The clothes look nothing like the picture. Buyer beware.

Slow shipping (over a month). Shitty product, not even close to what was described (“corset” has no boning, etc). When I requested a return I was told to take a picture with the item on - that is absolutely appalling. I wish I had seen reviews first. STAY AWAY!

Extremely negative experience with Margovil clothing. Blasting all over social media about their product, have a special eventComing up and placed an order for 4 dresses to see which one i preferred, poor-quality clothing that doesn't match product photos, refusal to issue full refunds, and poor customer. They advise the only way that they would consider is if I took pictures of myself in their dresses to provide to them.So they could decide whether or not I would get a refund. Now I don't mind taking photos of the product with the tag on.But I am not going to take a photo of myself inside a dress that I feel uncomfortable in for a stranger. I told them absolutely not.
I spent over $200 american dollars plus shipping out of Miami FL. Because they did confirm, there was a warehouse in Miami. But insisted it would have to be sent back to asia to their home company. Do not fall for their scam.

This company does not deserve any stars. The clothing is cheaply made and looks like my 4 year old was the seamstress. They do not accept returns unless the buyer absorbs the cost of the return back to Singapore. They offered me $7 refund for a $100 order. The dress looked like a burlap sack and is see through. Emailed company several times and they are not budging on giving me a refund. Reported to BBB and have PayPal involved. Buyer BEWARE!!!
