Great service I turned up early and was seen within 2 mins, everyone was great and the bonus no change to my eyesight.

Very efficient, polite and helpful staff. Nice to have a free hearing test as part of the eye test procedure. Very helpful with choosing frames, and the completed glasses arrived promptly and staff checked the fit thoroughly again. Very nice, calm, well fitted-out area of the store and appointments all ran on time. Highly recommended and would definitely use again.

Very professional service

Purchased two pairs of glasses in Dec 2024. Recently dropped one pair, and a side arm became detached. A repair needed a replacement side arm. Because the frames have been discontinued they are unable to replace the side arm and so cannot offer a repair. A pair of sidearms (so they match) could be fitted from a different model, and this I have done myself. Why couldn't they do this? Poor support for one and a half year old frames, with no effort on M&S Opticians to depart from their script. All it needed was a man with a screwdriver and a bit of nous, and access to an assortment of discarded frames (what happens to examples of discontinued frames removed from stores?).
I will not be buying from them again.

From the moment I went for an eye test I felt that i was being looked after and cred for by a really professional team of people who really know there stuff. I have since purchased a second pair of glasses and have also purchased hearing aids which are working well. My wife has also informed me that she will also be going there to have her eye test which is due. Well done M&S on service that is brilliant.

I got an appointment when it suited me. I was served with some lovely staff. The optition was very professional. My new specs are great I can read clearly.

M&S always deliver. Jack the chap who took the written information & who performed the field vision, eye pressures etc was very nice & professional & really enjoyed his job.

These glasses were an improvement on my Specsavers glasses with the exception of the sunglasses the were not in focus and I cannot use them.

I have been a customer for four years. Life long glasses wearer, last four years I have had extremely dry eyes. This appointment blamed me for my perceived lack of hygiene etc, am thinking of changing service as no acknowledgement of long term genetic chronic health conditions which worsen dry eyes. Really service needs to address relevant health conditions in eye appointments.

Overall from the initial welcome to the optician doing her bit this was an overwhelmingly professional operation.
The receptionist was most welcoming, the technician doing the preliminary measurements was at once reassuring and very supportive.  The optician took time to ensure both a good test was performed with a very thorough and considerate advice of the results of the scanned image outlining the various measures taken and their meaning.
Including my diabetic eye screening technician just the other day I have extoled the virtues of M&S opticians to everyone - well friends and family anyway!  An excellent service all round

EXTREMELY thorough and patient in working through my particular problems, with a helpful and effective outcome.

The optician was the first one in years of going to an other optician that recommended and went through treatment to help with my condition and had a second visit to see if my condition had improved. We need more committed ophthalmologists like M&S ones

Friendly, quick service. Good range of reasonably priced glasses. Were ready in a few days.

A very pleasant experience, with friendly helpful staff. So much so that when we returned for our glasses we brought the staff a tin of chocolates in appreciation.

A welcoming staff and competent, informative tests of my eyes. A good understanding of my needs and how they could best be met.

Absolutely abysmal service (almost 6 weeks without replacement hearing aids, needlessly as they were at store) and even worse "customer service " from an obnoxious egotistical woman called Tina .She offered no help whatsoever,was extremely unpleasant and made it clear the opticians/hearing department was not part of M&S and as such I should not/could not escalate my concerns and issues any further as "SHE"was the highest point of contact available.!!!! Really? The service offered to NHS customers is extremely poor and the after care by "customer unservice" is diabolical.I wonder if Mr Georgevic who is in charge of Owl Optical who run the M&S opticians would be happy with this level of service offered to paying customers? I would be delighted to discuss this further.

STRANGE HOW NO RESPONSE OR REPLY FROM M&S AS IT IS A REVIEW THAT IS NOT POSITIVE!?!?!?
