M&S Opticians Arvostelua 

Came to M and S opticians due to having a bad experience at my previous opticians.
Very attentive. The staff couldn’t help you enough. I was walked around with a member of staff to choose a pair of glasses that would properly suit my face and more importantly my prescription.
Glasses were then checked out by 3 other members of staff to make sure all measurements taken for them were correct.
Thank you to Ethan, Andi, Shairesh and Andrea who all helped me in there.
Definitely will be going back.

Always a great experience at M & S opticians. My wife took advantage of the half price offer as she fancied a further pair of glasses. Barbie was as always a pleasure to deal with. Honest and reassuring at all times. Will always go back as the service is 10/10 glasses are great too!!

Great care and attention at M&S opticians in St Albans.
Katy and Meena were wonderful and a lot of time spent assuring me and getting the prescription correct, the new frames to fit and the pricing of options.

I’ve bought my last two pairs of glasses from M&S and have been very happy with them. This is the first time I’ve had an eye test there and was really impressed with the time taken to explain everything, the thorough examination and the pleasant and very helpful staff. I also had a free hearing check. There were no pushy sales just very helpful staff. I’ve recommended them to family and friends and many are now new customers! Overall M&S Braehead delivers a fantastic service.

Excellent service & experience at M&S Opticians at the Torquay store. From start to finish it was excellent service, from Holly arranging the appointment, Lindsay the Optician was very friendly & efficient,& I have reading glasses that are perfect. Mark was superb,from the pre tests to helping pick the frames and arranging the orders,his customer service skills are a real asset to M&S! Thanks for the great service M&S, I thoroughly recommend them, much better than the chain of opticians I went to before!

First visit to M&S Opticians and found all the staff helpful and very friendly. I was undecided on choice of glasses but the staff were very patient and helpful without any rush or pressure. The eye test was thorough and explained everything very clearly. Definitely would recommend. Thankyou.

Ahmed the Optician at Braehead was excellent. Professional, friendly and informative. Also great personality with approach to customer welfare relaxed and interested. Deborah who carried out additional tests etc was also so friendly, helpful and cheerful. Looking forward to getting replacement specs.

This was my first visit to M&S for eye test, the floor staff was so helpful, I wanted new glasses, but I couldn’t make up my mind on which ones to buy, again helpful and patient
I wasn’t pushed into buying a expensive pair of glasses, they just let me choose the ones I wanted, without any pushing, well done.

The staff are very kind and helpful. As this was my second cataract operation follow up I was pleased to find that I no longer need to wear glasses all the time but just for reading. The optician was very good explaining all the details. Thank you to all the staff.

Professional, patient and friendly staff. A relaxing experience given it is not my favourite activity. A more interesting choice of frames than I am used to. I look forward to collecting them. Overall, definitely no complaints, thank you M&S.

I ordered my glasses at the beginning of June, after an eye test. they arrived, when i put them on - i couldn’t see properly and one lense was so distorted it was very odd. They sent them away as they had put in the wrong lenses, when they returned they were still not right, and then the ‘manager’ started to give me a lecture on how lenses work etc etc - eventually I had an appointment with the qualified optician (the branch is run by apprentices and the manager). The optician did a different prescription which took another 3 weeks to be made up and they are now OK, it took the best part of 3 months!! I think my previous glasses are still better. Won’t return there again. To note: all staff were very polite and helpful, but lacking in ability to deliver.

I have several chronic health conditions and was very anxious about my visit to the opticians.
Sarah and the optician were exemplary. They explained every part of the process to me in detail. I was able to take as much time as I needed.
The best experience I’ve ever had from an opticians.

Visited M&S opticians in Castlepoint Dorset for some reading glasses and found everyone very helpful and polite . The optician explained everything to me as I had recently had cataract surgery.
A much better experience than my previous high street opticians.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at M&S Opticians in Pudsey.

The glasses I purchased did not provide adequate distance or close vision. I could not see road signs, number plates, PowerPoint presentations or clearly at events. I subsequently had my vision checked by another optician, who confirmed that my prescription required a change.

I contacted M&S and was given a deadline for returning the glasses for a refund. As I was away on holiday, I specifically asked for an extension. Despite receiving no response, I actually changed my holiday plans and returned home early so that I could meet the original deadline and return the glasses.

I then went into the Pudsey store, only to be told that they could not process the refund because nothing had been noted on their system.

I subsequently had to chase the refund again, and even after meeting the deadline I was left waiting for my money. To make matter worse, after contacting head office via Scrivens as M&S optician customer support were so unhelpful, my card was debited instead of credited so I was then £1105 out of pocket which again I had chase

Even director level escalation fell short regarding my complaint and I was advised:
“Whilst I can confirm that an investigation has taken place, it would be inappropriate for me to disclose confidential information relating to internal management and employment matters. I am therefore unable to provide further details regarding the outcome of those enquiries”

The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and has involved far more time, inconvenience and stress than it should ever have done. The communication has been poor, and I have felt that my concerns about the glasses and my vision were not taken seriously.

I would not recommend M&S Opticians based on my experience and would certainly not use them again.

I would like to stress the Nyx as M&S Pudsey was amazing, doing their best to try resolve the refund issue despite not having the authority to do so.
