I am very happy with Beam notes, they have really made my job much easier, instead of having my head down writing notes on a pad when speaking to people I can now engage with them using eye contact to enhance communication.

Since i began using Beam note, it has made my life easier.
My case notes, review notes and meeting notes are all on time.
Just review and you are good to go.

How did I live without Beams? It has made my life so much easier, it picks up small details when using in clients care act assessment that I would miss. I can concentrate on speaking to client rather than head down taking notes

for a Dyslexic ADHD social worker this new tool is a game changer . I can talk into it or record visits ( with peoples consent ) there is no room for interpretation and the facts of what were said are there .
It can then be used along side co pilot to run things like safety plans and actions from the conversations.

It is making me feel more confident as a worker ( I have 24 years experience ) and finally my work has no selling errors or typos and is presented in a way I am happy. the time I am saving I am now spending with families and children it is a game changer.

I was fearful at first now I can't imagine working without it !

I have found Beams quite useful in my work. It has made meetings and engagement with families a lot easier, as I now pay full attention to discussions and do not get distracted by taking notes. Beams is also fairly good at transcribing discussions and assists with putting them on templates used for case management. However, more templates, such as core groups and safeguarding investigations, need to be incorporated

I am an adviser and this saves me a lot of time at the end of appointments and records all important information obtained in the conversation

I am really appreciative of being able to use Magic Notes as it allows me to concentrate on engaging in conversations with the foster carers in a more meaningful way. This is really important as my role is to support them, which involves sometimes serious discussions and I don't want to be writing notes as it may come across as disrespectful or as if I am not interested.

I was tediously recording visit upon visit in piecemeal fashion, when I discovered Magic Notes/Beam. It increased my productivity level from busy to prepared, and after each visit I would 'record my notes' verbally using the notes I had recorded during the visits. This gave me more time to focus on case management and face to face visits and less time on paperwork. I have also used it for MDT's and other team meetings, all with a press of a button where it then compiles the minutes. I like how free this makes me, to do less paperwork and more time spent with visits.

I have enjoyed using Magic Notes, I was skeptical at first but it is an intelligent tool that saves time in note taking and report writing but also allows you to concentrate on communication and building rapport with people.
Rather than taking notes and writing this tool allows you to connect with people and allow a free flowing conversation, with an accurate account of what was discussed.

It efficient and saves time. It allows to complete your interventions in a timely manner. simplifies case notes and case discussion. Would recommend every LA should have beam notes in place

I love Beam Notes because it allows me to work quickly and efficiently. I use it during home visits, while making telephone calls, and to record my own thoughts.

Face-to-face meetings are much more personal because I can focus on engaging with clients instead of trying to write notes at the same time.

Beam is also very good at picking up what is said, even when someone has a strong accent. On one occasion, it captured what was said more accurately than I could.

I also like being able to extract specific information from my notes, such as risks, the client's views, or drafting an email to a GP.

Another feature I find useful is the ability to use my own AI prompts in the sidebar. This allows the information to be presented in a format that suits the way I work and the tasks I am completing.

I have noticed that the quality of the output has improved significantly since I first started using it when it was called Magic Notes.

Beam/Magic notes has been a game changer since l started using it. This has cut my working hours tremendously and l can recommend this to all social workers who are still writing up their notes during assessment. This is a powerful tool, it captures all information and makes my work very easy.

The magic notes is extremely helpful in completing the case notes, Resident Led Assessment and mostly the Risk Assessment. It captures exactly what has been stated by the resident and plan agreed.

Beam is excellent for meetings with people I am supporting. I support people with Learning disabilities, often in group settings. This has been notoriously difficult to minute as I am trying to conduct the meeting a monitor what is said by 15 people, who can talk over each other, can be difficult to understand and have communication difficulties. Beam not only hears the conversation but can identify who is saying what. Beam uses the correct parlance for social care and working with people who have an LD.
What Beam can struggle with is getting the names right here in Wales. Accents can confuse Beam as can speak impediments. But for the most part Beam is ACE

I find it very helpful as it organises everything in order for me, when I’m making journal entries for fostering, when I’m saying things wrong way round because I’m tired.

This is amazing! I can't recommend it enough. We have two foster babies under 18 months. So writing notes before beam, was time consuming, and even though I love writing about our day together, I was ready to fall into bed, exhausted and sometimes ended up playing catch up with my logs, so just being able to talk into my phone, then copy and paste, is fantastic! Highly, highly recommended!

I have been using beam note writing now since the pilot stared and we completed the training. I have to say I am really enjoying this, It makes noted writing a lot easier it also helps to write my notes in a more professional manner.
