As an advanced nurse practitioner the main demands of my job is to review patients in the community. Most of the time I will assess my capacity on daily visits with the amount of time it will take to document. Since using beam it has given me more time to spend with patients, more capacity to see more patients and reduced my stress levels on feeling overwhelmed with documentation.
Definitely a game changer for work life balance and mental health.

Beam notes are a great tool for case workers. As a support worker, I am finding different was to tweak the platform to fit my needs. As the agency gets more access to features, the value of Beam is self-evident.

It saves hours of report writing, is very efficient and mostly accurate apart from a couple of abbreviations and altering a couple of numbers. I highly recommend it to anyone who does supervisions or minutes meetings. Plus it is compliant with data security policies

Beam has been revolutionary for my work as a children's social worker. I suffer from a spinal injury and other health conditions, and that this makes it very uncomfortable for me to sit down for long periods. I had feared I would have to take early retirement from a job I really enjoyed, but since using Beam I am much better and as I am not able to sit at a computer for hours and hours. I can use Beam while doing physio and exercises on my back, and while walking up and down, which eases the pain in my back.

More Importantly Beam has allowed me to spend more quality time with the families I am working with, which is the part of the job I enjoy. It makes my notes much more efficient and accurate, because I can record things during a meeting, on a visit, or straight after a visit, so I do not forget things by the time I get home or back to the office. Beam has revolutionised my work and allowed me to continue in a career I enjoy, which I feared I would no longer be able to do.

From the moment I used Beam notes I was extremely impressed by the time saving method and being able to have a really good conversation with the client while making them feel listened too
On my assessments I found that I can capture more of the verbal content by recording what is being said by both the client and myself. That alone is a plus for me and my work
It does take me a while to read over the recording and type up the assessment but not as long as it would take without Beam. Any amendments required are sorted straight away which again is very helpful
I think Beam (Magic Notes) is a fantastic addition to my work
My only criticism if you could call it that would be why change the name to Beam as I do think that Magic Notes is Magic

Very helpful regarding saving time for minutes as well as conversations with families, also allows for much more accurate recordings, as well as being able to focus on the conversation in the moment and ask appropriate, curious questions without worrying about future recordings.

I am finding Beam notes to be really useful, particularly when the conversation appears quite muddled, Beam puts it into order and sorts them under the Care Act outcomes.

As someone with ADHD and as an ADHD Assessor, Beam Notes (formerly Magic Notes) has genuinely transformed the way I work.

Before using Beam Notes, I found myself trying to balance actively listening to patients while simultaneously taking detailed notes. This often meant dividing my attention and worrying about missing important information. Since using Beam Notes, I have been able to give patients my full presence and focus completely on what they are saying, rather than being distracted by typing or writing notes.

The difference has been remarkable. I no longer worry about missing crucial details, and if something isn't highlighted in the generated notes, I can quickly revisit the audio recording and extract the information I need. This gives me confidence that I am capturing an accurate and comprehensive picture of each patient assessment.

The service itself has been outstanding. The training was excellent, easy to follow, and I was able to learn the system very quickly and start using it to its full potential. The support from the team has also been fantastic.

While I initially found Beam Notes invaluable because of my own neurodiversity, I genuinely believe this tool could benefit anyone. It significantly reduces administrative burden, improves time management, and allows professionals to focus on what matters most, whether that's patient care, client interactions, or simply being more present in conversations or meetings.

My experience may be personal, but if you find note-taking overwhelming, struggle with admin tasks, or simply want to work more efficiently, I would highly recommend giving Beam Notes a try. There are many people who struggle unnecessarily because they don't realise that tools like this exist, and for me, Beam Notes has been a complete game-changer.

Wow, this tool is truly amazing. It records, transcribes and summarises. This enables the user to be more engaged in meetings and not forget anything. Especially helpful for those with dyslexia or working memory difficulties. It highlights actions and can assist writing reports. Would 100% recommend :)

I Am dyslexic and this platform is an absolute game change for me.

As a busy social worker you can imagine how things are. You have a pen in one hand, a phone in the other. I need to be quick in taking notes which are very important for my role. Having access to Beam is really helpful. I can now get things noted and save them and come back to view them when doing my assessments. I can refer to important points. It has saved me a lot of time and also the notes stay on Beams for a while just in case I need to go back to my notes. It is all thanks to Beam that my working life is made easier and I can help more people to get the care or support that they need.

From a business point of view this technology enables me to get the most effective working experience as it allows me to really communicate well with the particular person I am talking with, taking in the verbal and non verbal cues that a conversation should contain.

Using this tool has made getting all the correct information into a case note so much easier, less stressful and less time-consuming. It has meant that I can focus so much more on the client rather than frequently noting things down and there are no longer concerns that I might miss something.
