My first Trustpolit review, because they deserve it!
I am writing this review before receiving my order, but whatever happens from here on doesnt change the excellent service I have already received. Helpful, jovial online service with rapid response to online chat. (Tracking the order as it moves swiftly through Europe).
Good prices and prompt dispatch. I live in France and LuxLight (in Newcastle) seemed to have gone that extra mile in getting the goods over the Brexit and Covid hurdles with the minimum of fuss and have adopted a helpful position on the unknown of who pays VAT etc. Bravo
Postscript:- Apparently I needed to add the date of my "experience"! So I thought that I would also take the opportunity to say that the goods arrived really swiftly and in first class condition. So nothing that has happened subsequent to the original review has changed my opinion of first class service

Good range of products at very reasonable prices
Good range of products at very reasonable prices. I now have 4 of their "easy-open" softboxes and a number of "T" stands for product photography. The quality is very good especially for the price, and the softboxes come with a spare central spigot, which is very useful - on an umbrella softbox I had from another brand the holding clip failed rendering it useless - at least if that happens to the LuxLight ones you have a spare spigot to use and presumably can order more. The softboxes open in a few seconds and are ready to use, and most include a grid in the price. I made my latest order when they were on holiday over Xmas, and it was delivered the day after they were back, so a quick turnaorund.

Very fast chat, good international delivery
Asked them if they would deliver to the Isle of Man. We spoke for some time via their very quick chat service and they said they would try and figure out a way to do it. They explained they could do it with a surcharge, which was expected with living here. They then said that they couldn't do that, but would deliver it to me anyway without the surcharge. My product arrived super quickly and is in good condition. Very thankful for their service.

Havebt received my item yet and they have asked me to provide a review. Given that I have not received my item I can only state my experience as requested. Its a shame the company didn't bother to check my address and that I lived in Northern Ireland and the status of my order or contacting me to ensure I was satisfied before requesting a review and then criticising my honest review of my experience.

There has been 2 working days between the first possible postage date after purchase and the date of the customer leaving this review. Their address is in Northern Ireland which is not included in our free and fast shipping service (stated in our shipping terms), as offshore UK addresses are more expensive to post to for most couriers including ours. We do offer a £8 service for 2 day delivery for offshore UK locations but customer has not paid for this, they have opted for free shipping and therefore we have used an economy service but it's still only been 2 working days since, as they ordered on the 27th of December with boxing day and new year holidays between then and now.
Customer has not made any contact with us regarding this so we have been unable to offer any customer support or guidance on delivery. We can only assume that they have not seen our delivery terms and expected our mainland UK delivery service despite having an offshore location, it's a shame they did not contact us prior to leaving this review as would have liked to have been given the chance to offer our excellent & fast customer support.
In response to the customers edited review after we posted the reply above;
Sorry to hear that you are unhappy for receiving a Trustpilot review invitation before you have received your goods. The review request is automated via the Trustpilot app and sent to all customers after 7 days which during normal business times (not Xmas and New year holiday) usually allows enough time for most customers to receive goods and experience our service. Unfortunately the Trustpilot app does not offer the capability of differentiating orders based on address & delivery service, it also does not take into account bank holidays. We don't send reviews invitations out on a individual basis, all customers get them and this means that our Trustpilot reviews are not engineered to be only positive.

Great service and product
Great company, were very helpful on the website chat while I decided on which product, and then my lights arrived first thing on the day I asked them to be delivered, despite being close to New Year. Superb product too, exactly what I need. Would definitely use LuxLight again and happily recommend them. Very positive experience.
