LONDON BUILDING CONTROL LIMITED Arvostelua

Looking at other reviews, sadly, it seems I drew the short straw with L Stepniewski as my surveyor. I found him to be surly, bad mannered, unhelpful and unreliable in answering email and keeping to appointment times. I was shocked by his inspection technique which consisted of arriving at the door, failing to introduce himself, rushing to see the work, barely exchanging a word about it and rushing out. 4/5 minutes max. I've always used local authrity building control before and found them pleasant and unfailingly helpful. Based on my experience I cannont recommend LBC.

Very easy and efficient to deal with LBC - particularly our contact Shahzad. I would highly recommend them for your project

Highly recommend London Building Control and especially Shahzad who was the inspector assigned to us from LBC. Shahzad was fantastic, polite and happy vibe (which one needs when you're in a build) with great communications with his vast build knowledge which in turn gave us the reassurance (text, calls and emails) throughout the whole process, really straight up about our build and communicating with our builder (Sotir who was also great) and making sure everything was working to the plan drawings. Thanks very much LBC and Shahzad. Top chap and top service.

Cowboy Company - Please, please, please avoid. They are extremely dismissive, rude and unhelpful. They are the slowest company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Do not answer emails, phone calls etc. Absolutely rubbish and am having to take then to court to get my money back!

very satisfied with the service from LBC
Reliable and informative.
Thank you to Gordon Stag who was always on time and positive.
Well done to all.
I will recommend to others 100 %

Excellent response time & customer service. Did a whole house renovation project and they were very helpful every step of the way!

Can highly recommend this company, everything happened when it should have in terms of inspections and advice and final documentation. The service was excellent.

Used London Building Control for my two story extension and permitted development works, can’t recommend them enough! I was site manager and I’m not experienced but have a little knowledge, every inspection was done promptly and with no fuss. Advice was happily given when I needed it by Pat Batchelor. Pat has many years experience in the field and was an absolute treasure to have on this build, never complicating anything, making it easy and straightforward. It was actually cheaper than going through my local council, an added bonus. Don’t go elsewhere.

We worked with London Building Control on a residential extension in London (East Sheen) and would recommend. In particular Martyn Janzemin was excellent and a real pleasure to work with. He was super responsive and reliable; for example he dealt swiftly and effectively with any issues or questions that came up during the process. His responsive and helpful approach took the pressure off the building control part of the project. We also enjoyed working with Adam L'Aimable who likewise was reliable, helpful and responsive in resolving issues that came up and demonstrated a common sense approach. I would work with them on my next project.

Very efficient company. Hamza was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

I’ve been using London Building Control for a few years now on my projects and have always been happy with the service. I would certainly recommend them to my clients.

I found London building control great and would highly recommend. They never missed appointment date and always gave feedback, if anything needed changing or wasn’t quite right they helped me from start to finish and signed off quickly and efficiently at the end. Gordon Stagg who processes my paper swithly and helped me to get final certificate, excellent work 🙏

We've used London Building Control now for two years for both plan checking and inspecting the building works. The design checking service provided by Phil Marsh and Jerry Elliott is first class, with comments coming back quickly and concisely. The inspection service is also brilliant, with the same surveyors - namely Gordon Stagg and Stuart Robertson - on each job. Every surveyor is very helpful and approachable.

I found London Building controls application process very easy and accommodating. I have completed various project through them and would highly recommend them for their reliability, professionalism and knowledge. In particular Patricia Batchelor who has always been very helpful and has extensive experience an knowledge in the business. Thank you!
