The car was ok and in good conditions …
The car was ok and in good conditions , but the rate we paid for 3 days was very expensive , they charged a lot for all risk assurance, and for one hour more in case we returned it later, because we picked up the car one hour before in Palermo
Then in Palermo Office didn´t give us the correct information about the cost of returning the fuel tank , as they told us thet was better to pay the full tank, as near the Catania airport was difficult to fine oil stations( was not true) and will be easier for us , but we didnt spend all the tank only half , and we have paid it full 100 € , so we think that in the office must give the right information

We apologize for the extra day charge,we always advise our customers to respect the return time specified in the agreement to avoid additional fees. Please note that we offer a 59-minute grace period (https://portale.locautorent.com/doc/specialrentalconditions.pdf - page 3) to all customers to accommodate potential delays. Unfortunately, since the car was returned 2 hours late, an additional day was charged. Your feedback is valuable to us as it helps us improve our service, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

car good, pick up and drop off not great
I booked the car for 7 days through booking.com and also the full insurance at the same time. However, when I arrived to pick up car in Palermo, the young man told me the insurance I bought was not accepted by Locauto and tried to make me buy their insurance for 30Euros a day (almost the price of the car itself)! He was a bit of a bully about it and not that nice. Also, on day 2 onwards, the car kept saying it had No Wiper Fluid - so they did not check it properly before pickup. Lastly, trying to return in Catania was difficult because of the construction and signs are not great. Took 30 minutes to find the return area. Nice car but experience wasn't great overall

Please note that any extra coverage purchased through Booking.com is a direct agreement between the customer and the broker; Locauto has no visibility into those details. We are sorry you perceived this as unprofessional; on the contrary, our colleagues simply wanted to ensure everything was clear before you started your rental.We are sorry for the inconvenience with the windshield washer. We will make it our priority to improve our inspections so that a similar incident does not happen again.
We also apologize for the inconvenience during the car return in Catania.We are aware of the ongoing construction work at Catania Airport; unfortunately,we do not have specific information regarding its completion date.

Best rental service
First of all, all Locauto employees are super friendly and helpfull. Documents wre signed fast and easy, Don't forget to procceed with online checkin before your rental start to simplify and speedup the process. Car was in a great condition, but some minor cosmetic defects.

Puntualità e affidabilità
Puntualità nel ritiro, chiarezza, ho avuto a disposizione un'auto nuovissima, rispondente alle mie richieste, che mi è stata subito consegnata. Credo si possa anche dire che l'azienda offre prezzi concorrenziali rispetto ad altre. Ottima la posizione centrale per chi ha bisogno di ritirare e rilasciare il veicolo in centro città.
