We had the most wonderful evening with the local aromas team. We felt like part of the family when we were welcomed into your lovely home. Eating delicious food in your back yard under the 100 year old olive trees was truly magical. Thank you we cannot wait to do this again.

We were lucky enough to have a private wine tasting with Eric while in Rome. Eric was amazing at verbalizing the traits and information about the different wines we tasted. He explained so much to us and introduced us to wines we never would have known about otherwise.
This was a wonderful experience!

I would consider this experience a "check-off my bucket list" that I enjoyed SO much! My husband and I did a private pasta making class with Carla and we had the best time ever! She was so warm and welcoming us to her beautiful home. She had charcuterie and wine waiting for us when we arrived. She has an amazing personality and made us feel so welcome! We laughed together the whole time. We were supposed to make 4 types of pasta but she showed us 7! We made two sauces and she answered lots of questions for us too. I cannot recommend this enough! If you are on the fence about booking, do it! We were leaving the following morning on a 10-day cruise, and I wish I could have stayed and learned more from her instead of the cruise! We will definitely be making a return trip to Rome and will 1 million percent book at least 1 more class. My husband who just went to support me and my dreams had a great time too. This was for sure the highlight of our two-week trip for me! Thank you , Carla! You are amazing and so much fun! Thank you again for welcoming us into your home!

Such a fabulous time with a host who is incredible knowledgeably and fun. One of the best experiences we had in Italy!

Eric guided us through Markets, streets and food establishments with enthisiastic expertise. He showed his passion for both the history and the streets of Rome... whilst introducing us to street food and local wine and beer. He was attentive, interesting and interested. We will find a reason to join Eric and his company again in some format. Be it another tour, a wine tasting, a retreat or a school scenario. Talk to the Team. There will.be something to suit as their passion is also their flexibility

My 11 year old granddaughter, and her two grandparents, who agree on almost nothing, unanimously agreed that our cooking class with Benny and Christina was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We learned a lot- but more than that- their humor, hospitality, conversation, the ambiance of the chef's home in the midst of olive trees and gardens, and hands-on coaching gave us skills and memories that will last a lifetime. Go for the cooking class and leave with so much more!

We did a wine and cheese tasting with Benny. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Benny is super knowledgeable and made the experience amazing. We would highly recommend if you are ever in Rome to meet this wonderful lady.

We took the tour of Roman street food with Debora. Awesome. She did a wonderful job explaining not just the food, but the historical backdrop of the tour, including giving context to the different regions of Rome and other parts of Italy from which we sampled.

I liked how she compared and contrasted with other similar foods to help differentiate Roman cuisine for an American palate. But most of all my wife and I enjoyed getting away from the main tourist drags to learn the food Romans choose.

It was super easy working with Benny to arrange our date. We had a special family evening at a lovely home where Chef Christina and Benny assisted us, taught patiently and made sure the night went smoothly.

We absolutely loved our pizza and gelato tour!!! Our guide was amazing and showed us great food while teaching us about the history of Rome. Our kids loved it too and it was a perfect family activity and an amazing day!!

We had the best time on the street food tour! The food was delicious, but we loved even more the chance to learn about the food culture in Rome, in the past and present! Our guide was fun, kind, and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this tour and company! They have been very helpful both before and after the tour with any questions we’ve had about Rome!

We had a wonderful experience for a team building exercise while in Rome. In a great restaurant, we made 3 dishes including the best Tiramisu ever, it was great fun to learn how easy it is to make pasta, and the hosts made it an engaging and informative, and ensured all members of the team were involved in the process. Would highly recommend.

Christina & her assistant were wonderful, patient hosts! We (three adults, two kids/boys under ten) made pizza & tiramisu. The pacing of cooking, enjoying some wine, & sitting on the porch overlooking the 150 year old olive trees in her yard was so enjoyable! A definitely highlight of our Roma experience!

Christina made our cooking class a wonderful experience. Such a great family activity and the pasta dishes were the best we had while in Italy. We also made tiramisu which was wonderful. Overall excellent and recommend for novice or experienced home cooks.

Relaxing and interactive. Loved being able to ask questions and talk about different food experiences. Had fun while learning! Great for all ages.

My son and I enjoyed a Gelato making class with Chef Christina. It was a wonderful, very pleasant and private experience that I can recommend to anyone, children or adults. Not only the gelato making process was entertaining and educational, but we also felt welcomed and at ease! Thank you for showing us what the true Italian hospitality looks like.

Wonderful experience with Local Aromas on our trip to Rome. We did the walking food tour with Deborah and the 4 pastas tour with Eric the next day. Both persons were gracious, knowledable, and highly engaging. We learned much, ate much, and thoroughly enjoyed our tours.

The people are the best part! They are personable, fun, and willing to answer any and all questions. One of the best experiences that I will remember forever!
