Lifetime Legal Arvostelua 

People seem quite happy about the will services however if you happen to use their Anti Money Laundering checks via Purplebricks, you're in for a nasty treat.
Horrible communication, they don't check the submitted documents and request for you to send them over again. Simplest AML check and they managed to stretch this to 3 WEEKS. I warned them to file a complaint and rang everyday which sped up the process. Stay away from this company.

Customer service awful
Trying to get hold of people on the phone incurred a charge - not easily contactable at all.
The requirements for claims aren't clear at all.

I didn't really understand why they needed to do checks and didn't realise I was signing up for a monthly payment. ID checks were done by my sols so why did purple bricks via lifetime legal need them to. Ok may not be able to get initial payment of £80 refund but want the 2 x 8.99 back and a cancellation immediately. Will be on phone to bank to try gor a charge back. Fuming

Just had a call from them , in my opinion they are just covering their back, apparently I gave verbal agreement for the addt cover, however on the receipt invoice it states

WE WILL CONTACT YOU AFTER THIS TIME TO ASK IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE, THEY ARE SAYING THEY SENT A REMINDER .....LIARS

I have gone thru my mail and there isn't one, another instance of their lies , did you do DP with me according to them they did , check your call recording , did you ask my name ..no did you ask my dob ..no did you ask my address .. no
If they can lie about this they can lie about emails.
The membership has been cxlld and apparently they are refunding 1 pmt of 8.99

Would I trust this comp... no
I would change my 1 star to no star if I could ..

Ok, so i understood that I needed an identity check to sell our house and move on to a conveyancing service, there is no way I signed up for a monthly fee of £8:99 p/m. I only found out that they were taking money from my credit card when the card expired. I will be seeking a refund, I feel that I have been the subject of sharp practice. I feel like a right mug 😟

The whole process was straightforward and Aminah talked us through professionally, she was very clear with her language.

Lifetime Legal gave me a telephone appointment from 10-20- they called about 20 minutes later. A very straightforward process led by Amrita who explained everything very well and made it a seamless experience.

Nat was very helpful and thorough. The whole process only took 15 minutes.

Was put in a position where I was told by my estate agent a condition of my offer being accepted was that I needed to use lifetime legal for my legal representation as it would be more streamline! What a joke! The cost is well over what my own solicitor would have charged plus were 5 months in and still no date! I’ve cancelled the £8.99 month so called offer of mover protection more like movers con and shafting! Extremely slow and a complete lack of priority, vague communication and delay after delay excuses from CLG who were the solicit was assigned to! Complete fraudsters just after your money! Wish I’d known before conditional sales are illegal now but the complaints are in! Now just need to keep fighting my corner and will refuse to pay any hidden fees that I expect they will try to add! Absolute scumbags making a stressful situation ten times harder!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Unfortunately our estate agent on the Isle of Wight uses this company and yesterday they rang to go through ID checks. Also unfortunately, my wife took the call and agreed to go on their free 3 month deal. Later I was irate at the fee. We are now trying to get that fee back and cancel any further involvement with them, even if it means we lose the house we're trying to buy.
Since writing the above, they have been in contact, and cancelled our monthly deal, so that is good. Also they explained that the ID checks are mandatory, so that is not their fault, but we still object to the mandatory nature. In the past, a passport or driving licence was good enough. Regulations now make it too complicated and too expensive, but that is the fault of government. There is no reason in the world why we should have to pay £96 to prove who we are.

Quick, easy process. I’d definitely recommend.
