I used Lifetime Legal's panel referral service when purchasing a leasehold flat in Portsmouth and was referred to Jasper Vincent Solicitors. The experience from referral to completion was excellent throughout. The instruction process was smooth, the fee structure was transparent, and the Mover Protection cover gave real peace of mind during what turned out to be a complex transaction involving a higher-risk building and multiple enquiries. Jasper Vincent, and in particular Jocelyn Humphrys, handled the file with professionalism and clear communication at every stage. Completion took fifty-nine days from offer acceptance on a cash purchase. I would use both Lifetime Legal and Jasper Vincent again without hesitation and have no reservations in recommending them.

The estate agent we’re buying a house through uses Lifetime Legal to carry out certain verification checks. During the call, I was asked to sign up for a free 3-month subscription and was repeatedly told, both during the call and in follow-up emails, that I would receive a reminder before payments started.

No reminder was received, yet the payment was taken. Interestingly, I received all of their other emails, but not the one they claim was sent notifying me that the payment was about to start.

They are now refusing to issue a refund. Having since read some of the other reviews, it appears this is a recurring issue. Perhaps they need to investigate why so many customers claim not to have received the specific email notifying them that payments were starting.

Seems like a dishonest company. I definitely would not recommend them. Be very wary if your estate agent uses this company to carry out compliance checks.

I had a 3 month free membership which I received when I had to have an ID check. The benefits were awesome, they included a movers protection insurance. I had 2 properties fall through, due to no fault of my own and I was able to claim some of the costs occurred back.
Anyone buying a home will understand legal fees, searches, surveyors fees etc becomes overwhelming but to know I had some cover was reassuring. Both claims were paid out, service was quick and customer service was great... Everyone buying a new home should jump on this.

Excellant Company, Easily contactable by telephone with professional helpful staff and our claim was dealt with very speedily . Would definitely use this company again ourselves and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We used the service to write wills and Ellie was extremely helpful. She answered all the questions we had and was really efficient and knowledgeable - would definitely recommend.

Although being unable to proceed with property purchase created a series of difficulties the Mover Protection service provided by Lifetime Legal helped to deal with, and overcome much of the financial loss.

Do not use this company . They are only interested in getting you to sign up to their subscription service. If you decline then they come up with a bs excuse to make you pay again for a certificated proof of address. To append this review potential customers should also be aware that they could well be plagued with nuisance calls .Every day for the past 10 days, since the original review I have been receiving calls asking me to report to the “immigration department” or submit my medical records .

Had to keep chasing for a simple will to be produced, won't be using them for the house sale and purchase based on this performance.
No notification that the 3 month trial period was coming to an end either.
