I don't usually pay for subscriptions for anything but I'm so glad I pay for this one. Its only £8.99 per month and this has saved me a fortune. I spent about £1000 on searches, surveys, legal fee's etc for a house, the survey came back and there was unimaginable levels of damage to the house, the estate agent and seller both lied about the property and concealed knowing about the level of damage. I could have lost so much money through no fault of my own but I was able to claim back most of the money I spent using the Lifetime legal protection. I was really pleased with their service, so easy to use and the staff were lovely. I sent off all my evidence and the whole process for my to get my refund was quick and easy. I'm so pleased I will get most of my money back. They also provide a lot of other services you need for when you are buying and selling houses and I would thoroughly recommend Lifetime Legal.

My estate agent linked me with Lifetime Legal when I listed my flat for sale with them last year. I understand it was part of a free trial, which I didn't cancel, and they then took an annual membership from me. And just recently, they've taken another year's membership from me. I contacted them to ask for a refund and they refused as they'd sent me e-mails about the upcoming payment. I thought those messages were spam. It's very annoying when companies trick you into signing up for memberships you don't need. And many people lead busy lives, or have ADHD (like me), and thus don't cancel these memberships. I've also contacted my estate agent - Leaders (Brighton and Hove) about this - as they should be warning customers about the ongoing fees.
