Had to keep chasing for a simple will to be produced, won't be using them for the house sale and purchase based on this performance.
No notification that the 3 month trial period was coming to an end either.

Unfortunately, our house sale fell through so we were unable to complete our purchase.
We'd paid for several things to do with the purchase and were able to claim this back due to our membership.
Lifetime Legal staff were quick and professional and they helped ease a stressful situation.

I was asked to provide information that was not necessary to complete the identity-verification process. It appeared to be an attempt to collect additional personal data, market other services and potentially share my details with third-party companies.

I was also enrolled into an ongoing monthly subscription that I had not knowingly intended to take out. In my view, this type of automatic subscription relies on customers failing to notice the recurring payments.

Be extremely careful if your estate agent directs you to use this company. Experiences like mine may help explain why established businesses such as Purplebricks have reportedly stopped using its services.

Requested other information that was not required for carrying out identity verification. It was clearly to gather extra data, try and sell other services, and sell your data to other companies. Agent then got incredibly rude after I refused to provide the inappropriate data and couldn't justify/explain why it was necessary, because of course it isn’t.

This company uses an auto subscription scam to sign you up to monthly payments and hopes you don’t notice, watch out if your estate agent makes you use them.

I explicitly DECLINED the option to purchase a subscription after using Lifetime Legal for a required one off service during a house purchase. Three months later, I now notice that I have been opted in to a subscription against my will! Only noticed due to an upcoming charge on my banking app, did not receive any notice from Lifetime Legal. No way to cancel online so will have to waste my time calling customer service during the week. Scam!
