Beware, this equipment cannot be relied upon in an emergency situation. I tested my father’s alarm this morning 3 times and on each occasion the system, after saying “do not worry, your alarm is calling for assistance”, did not connect and said, “please hang up and try again”. At this point the telephone line was also disabled until the call was terminated at the box, not ideal if the caller is away from the main box and unable to reset it. At the fourth attempt the call did connect.
This is not an isolated incident, we have been reporting such problems since before Christmas, the technical team have sent out replacement equipment, but each time the result is the same, the box connects less than 50% of the attempts to call. A complaint has been raised but we are told it takes 28 days to respond to complaints, after 3 weeks I suppose we only have 1 more week to wait!
The customer service team have been contacted on numerous occasions; it usually takes over 10 minutes for a call to be answered.

Staff were very helpful at setting up my mums replacement personal alarm base.

price has gone through the roof for existing customers new customers offered ability to pay up front to save 160 pounds over existing customers
when trying to contact customer services you get straight through if you want to start a new policy but wait over 25 minutes to try to gain some advice on existing policies
on entering a complaint it can take up to 28 days to get a response
people on the phones are friendly and try to be helpful but i feel their hands are tied by company policies

I have no idea why Lifeconnect24 chose to replace my alarm pendant. The process was initiated by them without any order from me and without any explanation from them. The new pendant arrived when they said it would and has been installed successfully, as confirmed by telephone calls with their monitoring team.

Upgrade request from a watch to a pendant was delivered the following day 😀

Spoke to them to cancel my dad’s alarm before the renewal. As he no longer needed the service. Yet the still took £93 out of my account. After numerous calls I finally got someone who knew what they were talking about. Or so I thought. Sent equipment back beginning of January as they said I wouldn’t get a refund until they had received it. Sent proof of postage. It’s now end of the first week of February I am being ignored and still haven’t received my money back.

After a rocky start and no return calls or emails from technical support Kristy sorted out a replacement device

The whole process went as planned for a new renewal of my worn appliance. However, it was just by chance that I found I needed it. I had to push the button on the box to activate the signal, which was okay as I was not lying on the floor following a fall. The new pendant arrived on time, as stated, and is working properly. Thank you

Awful experience with a pendant alarm which stopped working. And not for the first time. Vulnerable 87 year old left with no fall protection for 72+hours. Simply not good enough.

The Connect24 company was very helpful sending new equipment for my changeover to digital

Since my dad death you're treating me and my family with constant requests money, surveys and you won't listen to me.

Unreliable product and not 24/7 service. Closes at 1pm on Saturday then opens on Monday morning. If you have a problem like i had where my alarm stopped working on a Saturday, you are out of luck. I didn't feel safe.

My 92 y.o. father has had this service over seven years with cost gradually increasing but at very short notice he was advised the next quarter payment will increase by more than 30% to over £90. Customer Service phonelines always have wait times over 45 minutes, unacceptable. Formal complaint by email not responded to, unacceptable. Continually being pestered for 'upgrades' though !

New equipment arrived in good time.
Easy to install and a good service to send back old equipment. When we tested new equipment a quick response from the company and good communication skills.

Disappointed that no refund offered despite cancelling in January. Payment made up until September!

Received replacement pendants in a swift and timely manner.
