Summary: don't bother. This company doesn't care about the quality of their product. The app routinely crashed, one location on our list had been demolished over a decade ago, and the app prematurely ended our visit at our last location, locking us out.
My team of six were really excited to do this scavenger hunt of Old Town Murfreesboro. The Boro is a pretty, medium-sized city with a lot of history, including being Tennessee's first capital. We bought T-shirts, cancelled other events, and made this a priority.
While we enjoyed the time together, the Let's Roam experience left a lot to be desired. Our starting point was an intersection in a residential neighborhood that was over 20 minutes from any of our destinations. Why?? This makes zero sense, and had plenty of residents wondering why we were in their neighborhood.
Throughout our trip, the app routinely crashed or locked us out. Looking through other reviews over the years, this has been a recurring problem. It appears the company has done little to fix it.
The app had us looking in downtown Murfreesboro for the Princess Theater. This theater had been demolished over a decade ago. A new building is on that site, hosting a restaurant. The app's hint about having a JC Penney in view didn't help, as the JC Penney had moved from that location over a decade ago. Does anyone at Let's Roam check their facts?
At our final location at Oaklands Mansion, the app asked a question about how many rooms were in the mansion when the Maney family lived there, and directed us to a plaque for the answer. The plaque had three conflicting answers. The mansion started in 1815 with only 2 rooms, but by 1884 when the Maney family left there were 18. We answered 18 and the app marked it wrong.
The app closed our trip at Oaklands Mansion before we finished with our answers, locking us out with a mission complete message and no way to reopen. This cost us plenty of points and caused us to lose our neighborhood competition.
The app also asked us to write a review, but that review required our team to 'unpause', putting more time on the clock and costing us more points.
Overall, Let's Roam turned what should have been a good time into frustration with a faulty app, looking for locations that didn't exist, and locking us out before we had finished. Find a better way to spend your afternoon. This isn't it.

If I could give it a zero I would. It was AWFUL! Emails to guests didn't go through, app didn't work, multiple tickets were unnecessary, a total and complete waste of money. I feel like I was ripped off.

Not worth it
Half of the questions required you to be able to enter the buildings, and some were outdated (asking a theatre production company that finished years ago). At the end it was just a walk around Sidmouth that didn't offer many insights.
I usually enjoy these sorts of things, but there were far too many photo challenges. Perhaps they should think about offering an adult and kids version.

Paid for 4 tickets and was only able to…
Paid for 4 tickets and was only able to use 1. The app get freezing and wouldn’t allow us to add users to the same or other devices. What we thought would be fun for the family, turned out to be £40 wasted as we couldn’t carry out the experience as planned. I’m left with 3 tickets which have little use now.
Contact customer services who will not refund. Just offered more tickets for an app that doesn’t work. I’m hardly going to travel a longer distance to find the same issue.

This Company is a SCAM- please Don't fall for it like I did
This Company is a SCAM. They offer a product that does not actually work and then string you along and never actually refund you for it.
My scavenger hunt was paid for and scheduled in advance, I even confirmed with them again the day before. Day of, the app would not start and their customer support just kept saying please wait for over an hour, so we're standing there with a group waiting to start and feeling ridiculous. It has been over a month now and they still have not refunded me. Do not fall for it like I did.
UPDATE:
I see the response from Let's Roam! I have been contacting this email address regularly and have received nothing but "sorry for the delay" for over a month. Trust has been shattered when I was originally open to giving it another chance.

Sehr schlecht gemacht und halten sich nicht an ihre eigene Rückerstattungsrichtlinie
Wir haben die Tour für Graz gebucht und es war eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung.
Inhaltlich sind die Sachen sehr belanglos, zu jeder Sehenswürdigkeit nur 1-2 sehr generische Sätze. Die Rätsel sind zudem extremst einfach, das viel größere Problem ist aber, dass viele Sachen sehr schlecht oder sogar falsch Übersetzt sind. So müssen die Lösungen für die Rätsel auf Englisch eingegeben werden, auch wenn die App auf Deutsch ist. Die Deutsche Übersetzung für 'Sea Shell' ist auch nicht Seepferdchen.
Zudem konnten wir eine Station nicht machen, da diese im Winter geschlossen ist.
Lets Roam verspricht auf deren Webseite eine volle Rückerstattung wenn man nicht zufrieden ist. Diese wurde bei mir aber nicht geleistet, mit der Begründung, das ich die Schnitzeljagd schon angefangen habe. Lediglich ein kostenfreies Ticket für eine andere Schnitzeljagd könnte man mir gut schreiben.
Auch bekomme ich seit dem extrem viel Werbung per E-Mail von dem Anbieter, obwohl ich mich schon mehrfach aus dem E-Mailverteiler ausgetragen habe.

C'est une anarque de chasse au trésor
J'ai réservé une chasse au trésor avec mon épouse et 3 petits-enfants, sur Clermont-Ferrand et j'ai été très déçu.
Les questions posées sont sans intérêt, il y a beaucoup de publicité pour vous faire acheter d'autres chasses, et surtout cette Chasse au trésor n'a aucun intérêt touristique car il n'y a aucune explication sur les lieux rencontrés au cours du parcours.
De plus ce qui est le plus choquant c'est que le site affiche des milliers d'avis qui sont tous à 5 étoiles ce qui est très bizarre, surtout qu'il est impossible d'ajouter un avis différent. A rejeter fermement !!!

Nous comprenons combien il peut être décevant qu’une activité ne corresponde pas à ce que l’on espérait. Nos chasses au trésor sont conçues comme des aventures ludiques et basées sur des énigmes, et non comme des visites touristiques guidées, ce qui explique l’absence d’explications historiques détaillées sur chaque lieu. Nous sommes navrés si cela n’était pas suffisamment clair lors de la réservation.
Vos remarques concernant l’intérêt des questions, les messages promotionnels dans l’application et la valeur globale de l’expérience ont bien été prises en compte. Ce type de retour nous aide à mieux comprendre les écarts possibles entre les attentes et l’expérience vécue.
