Le Son Arvostelua 91

I ordered and received my SL1 MkII cartridge about two months ago. I now have about 30 hours of break-in and listening time on the cartridge, and I must say it sounds wonderful. It is my first moving coil cartridge, after about 40 years of owning high-end MM cartridges. I am impressed. It's detail, dynamics, and tracking ability are excellent. The music in my records has come more alive than before. It just sounds more realistic.

Simply LeSonLS10MKii is the most musical cartridge I have ever owned or listen. Incredibly demanding in her setup, BUT incredibly generous in what she gives you next. When everything is set up correctly the sound is out of this planet, superlatives natural on acoustic instruments, incredibly vivid with tremendous rhythm and flow and not at all tiring, while dynamics and harmonics have party. My congratulations to Mr. Gregory de Richemont, Dr. Ted Tsai and their partners for both the LS10MKii and for their professionalism, consistency and courtesy throughout the purchase process.

Hervorragendes Silber Phonokabel mit bestem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Spielt sehr harmonisch und sehr Klangfarbenstark, ohne jemals harsch oder nervig zu klingen.
Passt sehr gut an meine WBE Diamond No.36 Studio und als weitergehende Verbindung zum Leben Amp. Ich habe mir gleich 2 Kabel gekauft ( 5 Pol auf RCA und RCA auf RCA) ... Beste Empfehlung.

Excellent cartridge, well priced , excellent customer service

Shipping went without problems. What an excellent package with cartridge packed in a beautiful wooden box.
Installation was easy with supplied screws.
I use it in my system with the Altec 15095a transformers as best match. (Using a Kenwood KP 1100 turntable and Fm acoustics 122 phonoamp)
Full, transparant and very detailed sound, thankfully without being too analytical. Beautiful layers. Very wide.
As I hoped (and expected, reading the reviews) the cartridge would be. I love it.

The HO LeSon has an excellent price-performance ratio! I played it on the Kenwood KD900, but it fits noticeably better on my KD700d. During the break-in, it seemed very neutral to me, sounding a bit mechanical. Now on my very good tube phono and the KD700d, it plays really well and looks very classy!
I'm considering ordering one as a backup.... Absolutely recommended!

Bought it on a whim after reading about it on Analog Planet. It arrived quickly. Broke it in for about 2 hours before really getting into it. I felt I was getting all the music from several genres. Seemed to shine best on jazz. Definitely recommended!

Fast shipping and very well packed. It sounded great right away but I waited for 30 hours use to do some critical listening. Compared to the cartridge I was using, which cost around twice as much, I liked the SL-1 Mk II better. Not a huge difference, but the Le Son had stronger high frequencies and was more transparent, with no downsides. It was a joy to listen to for 30 hours, I look forward to many more hours of enjoyment.

This was a big opportunity for me to own a moving coil cartridge with a high-end cantilever at a reasonable price. This is it for me. I will never look beyond this cartridge, it is the summit of my search for wide sound stage and stereo imaging. There may be others, but the Le Son SL1 MKII is the point where I get maximum performance for my money, I have it installed on my Thorens TD146, with a MoFi Studiophono preamp, 2 KEF 303 and 2 Celestion Ditton 4-4-2.
I haven't reached the cartridge's full break-in period yet and I am already enamoured with my listening experience with the SL1 MKII. I appreciate the defined output: the lows are warm and well contained, the highs are crisp, not shrill, the mids are directional and clear. This is a wonderful experience, Thank you Le Son!

The service and product have been top shelf. I recieved my cables and cartridge in a very timely manner. The cables and cartridge were expertly packaged and fabricated. Although I have yet to use the cartridge, the cables have been in use for about month and they are fabulous, I can imagine that they need a bit more burn in but the sound is exquisite and balanced. The cables are incredibly well made and look fantastic. Very satisfied with my purchase. As soon as I can secure a second tonearm I will provide feedback on the new cartridge.

Cartridge came quickly, packaging was excellent as well. I have several carts in the same price range as the LS10 MKII. The LS10 MKII has become my favorite, its
a cart that does everything well and is very easy on your ears. I can now have long listening sessions without fatigue.

Well constructed silver cables at a fair price.
RCA connectors are high quality.
Looking forward to an expanded line of interconnects (MMCX for iem, 3.5mm plug, etc)

A Friend of mine told me from Le Son. They made a wonderful MC Cartrigde. And they made Retipping from Denon 103. So I send my Denon to the Company and 2 Weeks later the retipped Denon comes back to me with a Ceramic Boron Cantiliver and a Line Diamond. This Denon is a Bargain. I love it and its a very good System. In two Month I will buy the Big MC.This is one of the Best Companys I had to do with. Great Kommunikation, very Good Services and Pricing. Greetings Andreas
