Matt Wright is truly awful. He shouts at people, particularly older listeners. He is fixated on Farage and when challenged he just cuts the conversation.
His only other competition for an obnoxious person is JoB.
If LBC want growth then they need to get rid of this smug idiot.

Have been an LBC listener since the mid-70s and never known it to be so bad. No point in listening before 7am (unless Ian Payne's moronic drivel appeals) and not much better after 7am.

Truly awful, and often rude, presenters that repeat subject matter ad infinitum.

LBC has become utterly divisive, snide and a soldier in the pathetic culture wars. I'm now an ex-listener and will remain so.

Ian Payne Had a phone caller on Wednesday 26 August around about 5am on his LBC Morning Talk Show from a girl women think called Jane or Jayne saying she is in sheltered supported living care home London area saying the staff are not nice to her do not like her and carers not feeding her starving her which is a safeguarding issue that he and producers did not flag take seriously and did not find out which care home she in as he said do not mention and did not contact social services or finding out if have family to contact to report to them as both him and producer thought was a prank call with her having hi pitch child like adult female voice weirding him out which think she has Learning Disabilities Disabled
Down Syndrome as they Talk like that similar or has disabling Autism or similar or an elderly women
but she did not mention why she in supported living but any person with empathy and familiar with people with Physical Mental Disabilities would know this which Ian Payne must be unfamiliar
With as he said is this a prank call not real which she insisted was not which he and producer or assistant did not believe her And she could be getting abused by carers being starved of food which he did not take Seriously asking her what food she likes instead and Truly Was Not A Prank Call and LBC Need to Investigate ASAP and get social services involved contact her back as she was basically crying out for help and could really be starving not being fed and so on which I am worried about as I am Autistic and ADHD with Learning Disability and mental health illness condition Bipolar like Ian Payne so have empathy with him with that and we can think some things are funny when are not and have Friends who are also have same and ones who have similar disabilitys like William Syndrome Down Syndrome which me late Aunty had Down Syndrome and they is allot of abuse and neglect from a percentage of carers in professional care home and supported living homes and in peoples homes which LBC should also be exposing talking about on radio shows including Care Homes that bar Family and Friends from seeing there children or family members or friends when they been told by there child or grandchild or parent or other relative or friend or by a whistle blower that they being neglected abused and care home management tell lies saying the person being cared for is distressed being visited to much and parents or other family members or friends being abusive to staff which mostly not true.

This station has become pretty much unlistenable - and not just because of James O’Brien.
It’s the same banal adverts, repeated hour after hour, in which voice-over actors appear to be in competition to see who can sound the silliest.
There's the twerp babbling along about Euromillions. The wasn’t-funny-the-first-time Janesbury’s advert which has made me vow never to enter that supermarket again.
It turns what should be the pleasure experience of listening to the radio into a a source of intense irritation.

James O'Brien defended Professor Jason Arday.

O'Brien also supported Tom Watson in the Carl Beech incident.

Malicious, manipulation of listeners. Today on a regular James O'Brien slot you have the exact opposite in morals, opinion hosting the show. I tuned in to hear Mr o;brien, but your manipulation forced me to hear several minutes of hate and vile opinion from jennrick.

How dare you abuse my trust in this manipulative way.

LBC are now participating in the direct schism of society. Maybe you like it.

Viewers of Freely TV will be astonished to see their schedule information publised for their LBC radio anchors. They will see each morning (and other times) they sincerely believe that long gone anchor STEVEN ALLEN still presents the early morning & weekend programmes. There will aso seek you believe Andrew CASTLE is still with LBC.
If this was not enough despite informing Freely "the error of their ways" for about a month now nobody in the company seems to be bothered about blatant incorrect information shown to their valued customers.
Naively thinking Global , the parent company of LBC, would care more & be proactive with Freely I also contacted them on three occasions over the last approximate 3 weeks. The best & only reply from Jake of Customer Services is "they are looking into it" ! This is the sad miserable state of customer services for British customers. Hopefully Steve & Andrew will leave our screens very soon to be replaced by accurate LBC scheduling information

Basically heavily controlled, spoken social media.
You can call in and be vetted by them to see if your questions comply eith the agenda of the presenter.
Practically all the presenters speak about the same subject throughout the day, even sometimes parroting exactly the same phrases, word for word.
Designed to divide society, and smear political opposition, to whoever is funding the show.
Awful really.

LBC 97.3 reception on FM is terrible, because they are transmitting at 40 kilowatts in comparison BBC one radio and classic FM are transmitting at 250 kilowatts and there signal is crisp and clear. Simply appalling as this was supposed to be London's biggest conversation transmitted from Croydon.

First let me say, I love LBC. For me, it’s a 5 star review because of Nick Ferrari, Tom Swarbrick Iain Dale and Ali Miraj. Others, I find it difficult to listen to. Some presenter characteristics:

Nick Ferrari (love him though I do!) talks over people and regularly drills down to atomic detail on, to be fair, something his (mainly) politician guests should know. Find that one a bit cringe tbh. Bless.

James O’Brien aside from his one-man crusade against Nigel Farage (at whatever point I may tune into his show, I can pretty much guarantee he will mention Nigel Farage within 5 minutes. Try it), is his show a phone-in, or a monologue? I’d suggest the latter.

Vanessa Feltz - list woman. Has the worldwide concession on adjectives. Her programme could be cut in half without loss of content.

Matthew Wright - he always has some personal connection to his topic. If NASA were thinking about de funding the space programme, Matthew Wright would know someone who used to be an Astronaut.

Simon Marks - talks in the style of a town crier

You only need to look at the horizontal line reference the ratings for LBC to see the 1 star is leading the pack by a country mile. The topics are repeated throughout the day but different presenters, (I use the term presenters as a generous statement) have you never heard of “overkill”?

I was a long-time listener especially, Nick Ferrari all the time until now and some times ago James Wales Drive in the evening, But recently i find it unbearable to listen to Nick Ferrari break fast radio as he seems spewing hatred and division to sensationalise his show and rating. May be the age is catching-up with him and lots of time he just can say anything to stir-up tensions.

LBC has the best and most interesting of presenters, though not all political views I agree with but even they fairly, will leave room for the other view. Most callers too add luminous light to the given topic. Honestly I highly recommend, if you like talk radio, you'll love like me, LBC

Having listened and enjoyed listening to LBC for years, I am sick and tired of the same topics over the last six months - Iran, Trump and Keir Starmer related topics is much too repetitive, depressing and have me actively searching to find another radio channel. Is this all that is happening in the UK? Surely that is not the only news. What about other topics for discussion? Come on LBC.

Chat in this app is very good but the app keeps freezing even when there is good wifi! All since the app was upgraded. Hopefully they will get this sorted before listeners tune in elsewhere!

I called in regarding that there was no connection between Autism and violence on the Nick Ferrari show today as a doctor and he tried to abuse me about the notion. Now I am having to look after one of my Autistic patients who listened to the show and is feeling suicidal. Well done Nick Ferrari!
