Great experience. Would buy from KMS again
A great experience and great price on the item I was looking for. Their website has in-stock items, processing and shipping was very quick with delivery much faster than expected. A great experience overall. This in distinction to another Canadian online vendor where they informed me 2 weeks after ordering that the item was on backorder. Another 3 weeks for the refund. I'm so happy I found KMS and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I've made numerous orders over the last few years, and I must say, I am very happy with my experience. I have had the odd hiccup, not receiving something that was supposed to come, etc., but customer service has always helped me out. My #1 suggestion? Open a store in Manitoba!! But it may just be better for my wallet this way!!

My first experience with their warranty…
My first experience with their warranty was not great with Gear Wrench socket that cracked.The second experience was horrible to say the least I bought a flashlight which cost over $100. and it quit working in 3 months.Even though it has a 2 year warranty after going there twice and no call back.I don’t know I want to do anymore business here.I have spent thousands of dollars here only to be treated very poorly.I am extremely disappointed

a lady who carves wooden bowls at your abbotsord location was a god send for introducing me to the Arbortech ball gouger to help hollow the half burrow bowl i was carving by hammer and chisel i don't no her name but thank you so much for showing me this tool i had the burrow bowl carved out in 10 minutes thank you so much Debbie

Nowhere to lock up a bike when I arrived. All the staff could suggest was that if I was quick my bike probably wouldn't be stolen.

Mig Welder problems
I was having trouble with my Mig welder , Glen from the Red Deer store , explained to me the possible problems i might have and recommended some solutions, turns out he was right, I'm still not a great welder but at least i cant blame the machine.

I like shopping there because of the variety and great staff…
I like shopping there because of the wide range of woodworking tools etc. When you need certain things you can’t get them at Home Depot. I also really appreciate the staff, there hasn’t been one time I have gone there and staff hasn’t approached me to see if I need help. Great place and staff!

Custom service 101
Being in the trades I use and buy plenty of tools. Unless something is out of stock those purchases happen at KMS Tool. I've always had great experiences with them, specifically the Kelowna branch. My most recent purchase yesterday included an inquiry to customer service online before the in store visit. They went over and above! First the online rep honoured a sale price that I was late on taking advantage of. Then in store they assisted me in making sure I got the correct tool and at the correct price. Every interaction was with a friendly helpful person. Unfortunately that is a rare thing these days. Can't say enough about the folks at KMS Tool.
