Kew Gardens Arvostelua 

Been a member for about 5 years. Members slots are consistently sold out so I cannot book to visit the gardens and refuse the pay twice for a non members slot. I paid for membership to recieve no benefits basically. Plus my latest card never arrived so I missed out on about 3 months membership.

Kew Gardens has been our sanctuary during the lockdown. It is very well maintained with numerous choices of place to dine (i.e. take away during the pandemic). I have been a member for 10+ years and will continue to support these beautiful gardens.

I came for the exotic things and they were closed so I paid for seeing just an ordinary garden . We live in a world where you ha e to pay a ticket to see a park just like any other. I regret going there.

I had trouble getting a refund for tickets to Kew Wakehurst from a third party ticketing website. I got in touch with the Kew Wakehurst team who were quick to respond, sympathetic to the issue and got things sorted within a couple of days. I've not been to the gardens at Wakehurst themselves, but if they're anything like the customer service I experienced there, they will no doubt be magnificent.

I'm furious that the company you used to issue the tickets for Christmas at Kew is absolutely incompetent. They are refusing to give my full refund and I have paid for the insurance. I'm not going to book this event ever again.

In the first lockdown they had a fair ticket pool for member tickets - members have equal rights with non-members.
But a few months ago it changed. For example currently all member tickets sold for this and next 2 weekends, nevertheless I can buy a ticket for a full price for today (Sunday). So I already paid for maximal membership, but I can't use it. Very disappointing.

Nice place to visit, but COVID member policy is very bad.

Brilliant place to visit on a summers day
Visited in april last year during the heatwave and couldn't think of anywhere i'd rather have visited, the greenhouse was tropical and sweltering and full of interesting plant life and the wildlife by the river were entertaining

Kew Gardens is a wonderful organisation.

Not only is Kew Gardens the most beautiful location in London but it is also one of the best managed. The staff are unfailingly friendly and polite but also very helpful. The recent challenges they have faced over the last few have been dealt with professionally and carefully.

I have been a member for 3 years now and I cannot fault anything. The staff do all they can to help you and I always feel welcome

I haven't been allowed to enter the Garden because i had my ticket only in electronic format. Hopeless service and nobody could do anything about it.

I've been a member and supporter for over 10 years.

Each year it becomes less like a botanic garden and more like a cheap amusement park. It's rather pathetic the decline in events like the Xmass Light show, Music at Kew and the Orchids.

NOW with the Pandemic ending they are about to open and have "allowed" members to book tickets. Of course they are all sold out and we can pay full price.

The greed behind the running of this park is disgusting.

I've been a member of kew gardens for over a year now and love it. The flowers are beautiful, they change the displays regularly, and the staff are always friendly. The children's area is great and my nephew loves it. The events are fantastic.

The queues get busy on weekends and on sunny summer days, however, members get priority access which is amazing. The drinks prices and gift shop are expensive but as to be expected for a London tourist attraction.

The visit to Kew was ok but kept receiving requests for “tell us about your visit”
The questions went way beyond my visit and what I thought of the place and where intrusive and not relevant to the visit

Very Disapointed my dougthe arrived late around 16.10 the rest of the family are still inside she crying her heart out just to see the inside but won't let her in even I told them just to buy her a soveiner shop but won't let her in very dissapointed never coming back again to this place.

Christmas at Kew is an annual staple, it is simply stunning and the kids love it to!
Visit the gardens during the day at summer time when everythings in bloom. So many greenhouses to visit, cafes dotted everywhere, so much to explore, the tree top walk is brilliant, theres a new kids garden and play park to the north of the site and an amazing look back in time with some beautiful Victorian architecture. Easy to get to from Kew Bridge Station, 65 bus or Kew tube stop.

Kew, beautiful but.... Today Sun13, Dec I went to Kew, love it. But the orangeray restaurant is not good. I had a Luke warm fish pie cold, hard brussel sprouts, cold potatoes, Luke warm coffee for £15. Not at all enjoyable. It was only 1300 hrs, not late, no excuse. I will never eat there again. Get a better meal in a local cafe.

Honestly, very disapointed. Dont waste your hard earned money...its no better than many parks in London: in fact if you just want to walk try Hampstead or Richmond just down the road. There are so many great parks in London that wont charge you £18 per person for the privilege of entry.
One reason we went was for the childrens area, which we were told was fully booked !!! ??? The worest part being it was almost empty !...our local parks childrens areas just as good and no ridiculous booking/queue system. The indoor play area was run down and disapointing.
Food way overpriced and were expected to pay £4.50 per person on top of entrace fee just to go up the pagoda.

First visit, had a great day out, would probably take a picnic next time we visit, as there are many great open spaces to sit and eat.
The gardens and glass houses were great, should maybe have a warning about the lizards in the Princess of Wales conservatory.
Staff at information desk and gift shop need to be more content with life, they need to ware a smile more.
Overall well worth a visit.

Visited Kew gardens Saturday 2night March 2019.
And was disappointed.
I know that it's early in respect of flowers blooming but a lot of the other attractions were closed. Maintenance of course is essential but to me that should reflect in the price of a ticket.
Maybe a reduced Winter season fee?
