Scum on top of coffee and grounds in bottom of cup. Taste is not the same.
Kenco was our go to coffee. Not any more very disappointed. Will not buy again.

Why has Millicano barista amerciano range been altered? We have been drinking this range for years and was the best tasting coffee and now it just tastes like all the rest. Very disappointed- please change it back!

Kenco have changed the ingredients and it doesn't taste as good. You have to give it a good stir for it to dissolve properly and it leaves a sludge at the bottom of the cup.

My wife and I have been fans of Kenco Rich for many years and even take a jar on holiday with us. When we make coffee for visitors, they often comment on the lovely, rich smooth taste. Until now. I can only imagine that a management meeting was called to discuss how the company could make more profit and someone suggested adding the sweepings from the board room floor to the blend. It is now bloody awful, so awful that my wife complained directly to Kenco. They arrogantly told her that a lot of research had gone into the new blend and that they found nothing wrong with it. We will be buying no more Kenco Rich and are now trying different brands to find a replacement. If Kenco needed to change the blend, it's for one reason only......to make more profit and hope the customers don't notice. Goodbye Kenco.

We have been buying Kenco Smooth for years now and enjoyed our coffee, but not anymore at the bottom of the cup there is a horrible sludge and the taste is different. Why of why have you messed with something that was fine as it was. I am sure your sales will go down as I will no longer buy it and I'm sure others will also find an alternative.

Not sure what’s happened to kenco coffee but it’s leaving nasty brown residue in my cup and taste isn’t as nice. Sad times as have drunk Kenco for years. Looks like I’ll be swapping 😢

I have been a loyal Kenco Rich drinker for years, but the recent changes are absolutely shocking. They have completely ruined what used to be a great coffee.
First of all, the new taste is disgusting. Since they added ground coffee to the mix, it doesn't even taste like coffee anymore—it tastes like bitter dust. Worse yet, it leaves a horrible, gritty sludge at the bottom of the mug that is completely vile to swallow.
On top of ruining the recipe, they've pulled a classic "shrinkflation" move. The jar has shrunk from 200g down to 190g, but the price hasn't moved. Paying the same money for less coffee and a far worse taste is an absolute insult to loyal customers.
I won't be buying Kenco ever again. My current jar is going straight in the bin, and I am officially changing to another brand. Absolute rubbish.

We’ve been Kenco instant coffee drinkers for years and this new batch with a number rating is just dreadful - no real taste and a sludgy scum left in the cup - not going to continue unless they revert. Bought another couple of jars as I thought maybe I had an end of run but sadly it appears not.

What have you done to your coffee. Horrible and sludgey. Last purchase I'm afraid absolutely awful

New profile is horrible. It leaves a powdery texture on teeth.

I have been a millacano drinker for over 15yrs , what have you done? you have ruined the the best instant coffee on the shelfs bitter sludge , I won't be buying another tin , I have now switched brand , your new brand is doomed

I have been drinking Kenco coffee for years and years and loved it over any other coffee, I bought 2 jars last week and noticed it wasn’t as strong and was bitter not smooth at all , it left powder at the bottom of my mug , i thought my water was contaminated, but it was the coffee , my friend said I make the best coffee and even she noticed the difference immediately, I will not be buying this product any more , will stick to Nescafé or Egberts . Really disappointed as always looked forward to a good cuppa first thing in the morning, how can the change be justified ?

I have been drinking really rich for as.long as I can remember. Unless Kenco address the issue it will be time to choose a new brand that doesn't leave a bitter taste in the mouth and a disgusting sludge in the bottom of the mug!

I emailed Kenco to complain about the new recipe disgusting coffee. Customer complaints/services replied stating that the new blend was loved by their taste testers and said it was much improved and a big hit all round so they have no intention of changing it!!!
Well, I have since changed to a different brand and I'm sure lots of others are doing the same. Regards, Ex 30+ year loyal customer.

Congrats Kenco (not), you've turned Really Rich into Really, Really Poor, nasty powdery taste and feel in the mouth and unpleasant residue. Did nobody taste test this before you forced it on us? Plus shrinkflation to add insult to injury. Been a Kenco drinker for many years but bye bye, it's Douwe Egbert's from now on.

Since recipe change its bitter and leaves residue over cup. Have switched to Douwe Egberts

Kenco - first thing (in case you aren't aware) with Trustpilot, you can not assign ZERO stars, which I would have done if I could because that is how much flavour you have in your new "Improved" Millicano coffee !!

I've been drinking Millicano for 15 years and used to buy 10 jars at a time, cos I liked it & drank so much of it ... unfortunately I now have 9 jars of your new variety in my cupboard and I'm thinking of donating it to a food bank, but to be honest I think that would be cruel !!

Please read all of the comments on here and on social media and react positively to your ex customers and try and go back to your old recipe - personally I'm not bothered in the can size, I would pay more for the old flavour !!

Having purchased kenco for years will now be buying an alternative as the new blend tastes bitter and leaves a residue on cups. Has spoilt our morning coffee experience. Really disappointed ☹️

Years ago I kept switching coffee brands until I found Kenco really rich which I found was exactly to my taste. I’ve stuck with it for many years, but now I’m going to have to start searching again. Not only paying the same for less product, but whatever they’ve done to the blend has really messed it up. I’ve read that they’ve added 10% ground coffee, WHY? If I wanted the taste of ground I would buy ground. It tastes bitter, there’s a dusty ring around the top of the cup and I’m left with a dark treacly residue at the bottom. Disgusting. Don’t get me started on the lid ….🤬

Kenco can you please recommend a new coffee that is as good as your old recipe as the new one is awful and will not be buying kenco products anymore
