Wir haben über Check24 ein Auto mit vollem Versicherungsschutz gebucht. Der Kooperationspartner Keddy by Europcar enjoy travel vor Ort hat uns dann aber trotzdem genötigt, eine teure Zusatzversicherung abzuschließen. Ansonsten hätten wir kein Auto bekommen. Wörtlich sagte die Verkäuferin Vicky : ist uns egal was ihr gebucht habt. Wir in Dublin machen es so oder gar nicht. Durch lange Wartezeiten machen Sie die Kunden zusätzlich mürbe. Auch befand sich entgegen der Buchung lediglich der Schalter beim Terminal. Mit dem Busshuttle ging es dann zum nächsten Schalter- dort wieder warten. Nur um ein vollkommen verbeultes und voller Lackschäden übersätes Auto zu erhalte. Die Schäden waren auch nicht dokumentiert.
Aggressive Mitarbeiter, die nur darauf aus sind zusätzlich eine Provision zu verdienen. Haben Kontakt mit Check24 aufgenommen, den Fall geschildert und sämtliche Unterlagen eingereicht, aber letztlich hat man uns vermittelt, dass es unsere Schuld gewesen sei und wir sind auf den Kosten sitzen geblieben. Man kann sich also leider nicht darauf verlassen, dass Check24 mit vertrauenswürdigen Kooperationspartnern arbeitet.
Werden nie wieder etwas über diese Anbieter buchen.

Nous avons réservé un voiture avec KEDDY by Europcar pour une semaine à PALMA de Mallorque le 11 mai 2024 (réservation numéro ES114137750) et lorsque nous sommes arrivé à l'agence EUROPCAR on nous à refusé la location faute de validité du permis de conduire, on nous à remis un document pour un remboursement de 403.95€ et avons fait une autre location pour un montant de 651.25€ ( contrat Europcar 6039727825).
Après plusieurs relances auprès de EUROPCAR qui nous envoi vers un numéro de chez KEDDY qui est toujours EUROPCAR ou on nous fait tourner en rond pour ne pas nous rembourser.
Conclusion c'est du vol manifeste et il n'y aura plus de location EUROPCAR.

Habe über CHECK24 einen Mietwagen gebucht - Versicherung war eigentlich schon inklusive. Bei Keddy wurde mir noch eine Versicherung angedreht in Verbindung mit einer Kaution für den Leihwagen.
Behalten wurden nach Mietende auch die 100€ Kaution

-Die Mitarbeiterin Vicky hat uns gegen unseren Willen einfach eine Zusatzversicherung untergejubelt. Auch beim Abholzentrum ( Name wurde verweigert )in Dublin sagte man uns : es sei ihnen egal was bei Check 24 gebucht wurde.
Bei uns in Dublin läuft es so oder gar nicht.
Das nächste Mal sollten wir direkt bei Europcar buchen, dann hätten wir jetzt auch keine Probleme.
-laut Beschreibung wäre die Abholung und die Rückgabe vom Auto direkt am Terminal. Dies ist nicht richtig. Nur der Schalter befindet sich im Terminal.
-Warten auf Busshuttle- wiederholtes Warten beim Schalter im Abholzentrum.
-unfreundliche, aggressive Mitarbeiter

Achtung Betrug!
Bei der Abholung des Wagens fragte man mich, ob ich eine Vollkasko Versicherung wünsche. Da ich schon eine über check24 abgeschlossen hatte, verneinte ich dies. Trotzdem wurde mir eine im Kleingedruckten untergejubelt. Finger weg! Hatte keddy über Europcar gebucht

Zuerst erfragte ich den Wagentyp. Ich sollte ein Fiat Tipo werden. Dann erkläre mir der Europcar/Keddy-Angestellte, dass dies für meine Zwecke das ganz falsche Auto sei, weil er zu viel verbrauche, so etwa 16 Liter auf 100 km. Am Nachbarschalter bemerkte ich genau das gleiche Gespräch. Wenn ich aber die Europcar/Keddy-Vollkasko-Versicherung abschließen würde, könnte er mir einen viel sparsameren Diesel geben. Da ich bereits eine Vollkaskoversicherung über Check24 abgeschlossen hatte, lehnte ich ab. Nun war der Tipo plötzlich nicht mehr verfügbar und es wurde ein Ford Puma zugeteilt, Acriss-Code CCMR statt gebuchtem CDMR, 94.401 km gelaufen, 27 Mängeleintragungen, darunter sicherheitsrelevante, wie ein 1 cm Steinschlag im Sichtbereich der Frontscheibe, weitere nicht aufgeführte Mängel, wie abgebrochene Gepäckabdeckung, mangelhaft gereinigt, kurz gesagt - ein Bestrafungsauto. Auf meine Beschwerde wurde mir geantwortet, ich solle mich nicht so haben, ich hätte schließlich ein Upgrate erhalten. Dieses Vorgehen der Sachbearbeiter kann meiner Meinung nach nur auf Anweisung und Rückendeckung des Managements der Station Barcelona Flughafen möglich sein. Auch wurde statt vereinbarter 88,94 € Einwegmiete, 107,34 € abgebucht.

KEDDY - ORBIT - EUROPCAR FRAUDSTERS?

I search for an economic rental car 14 days from Bianiac, Toulouse. On the Internet I book a manual car at Keddy car rental 14 days, no extras, for a fixed total of 430.37€.
Returning the car a final invoice comes from Europcar. It is for 881€ including all extras - more than double the fixed amount.
Complaints are bounced between a chain of companies - KEDDY, ORBIT, EUROPCAR - and not attended to. Orbit and Europcar have both received details as below - o comments provided.

DETAILS - 411 TO 881€ INCREASE
I get an e-mail confirmation. Not from Keddy but from Orbit Car Hire. And they charge me 17,05€.
Arriving Bianiac, Toulouse. No Keddy nor Orbit rental to be seen. Asking at Europcar for Keddy I am informed it is there - at Europcar. I present the Rental Agreement Details on paper. The lady confirms an “economic car”, “manual”. Yes. Is it OK with a Peugeot? Yes. No other changes to my reservation are mentioned. The car given to me is an hybrid, not manual.
Returning it after 14 days, they remark there is a colour scratch on the rim of a wheel. Could be, I did not check the wheel rims at picking-up.
I get an invoice from Europcar France S.A.S. It has the items Basic Rental 411€, Coverage (Go Zen) 336€, Services Cross Border Fee 32€, Surcharges Environmental Contribution 15€, Other revenues Damage Admin Fee 87€, Total 881€. On top of the 17,05$ first paid.
No figure, or combination of figures, correspond to the fixed price of 430,37€.

COMPLAINT
My complaint is sent to the invoice sender, Europcar France S.A.S. Reference 20799055.
They return 14/8 with the message “I've checked your request and noted that you made your reservation via a Tour Operator.
They are your main partner for the the full rental process (before, during and after the rental). They will be happy to provide further information.

So - that “Tour Operator” - could it be Orbit Car Hire. I contact them forwarding the above message and write:
“EVIDENTLY - Europcar considers you, OrbitCarHire, as a Tour Operator which should handle the case. I kindly ask you to do so immediately.
I enclose Reservation details and Invoice (protested)
Yours sincerely. ENCLOSURE”

The answer from OrbitCarHire:
“thank you for your email and my apologies for the late reply!
I will get in touch with Europcar, as we will need a copy of the signed rental agreement and final invoice from your reservation as well as an explanation of why all the extras were included in the reservation. 
As soon as we have more information available regarding this case, I will get back to you with an update. In the meantime, I kindly ask for your patience and understanding.”

Now the Reservation Details and the Invoice had already been sent to Orbit Car Hire. The rental agreement was left in the returned car and of course available at the Europcar office in Bianiac, which I informed them. In the Reservation Details are no extras included - hence no need for an explanation on my part - possibly on the part of the Europcar lady at Bianiac.

I heard nothing further from Orbit och Europcar. Keddy was nowhere to be heard of, except on the Internet page.

THE CASE IS NOT UNIQUE - THE SETUP
appears to be one of three organisations using, blaming and hiding each other in order to cheat customers and avoid responsibilities. When the paper company KEDDY gets too stained with frauds, another facade can quickly be arranged.

I have seen that there are a number of fraudulent cases in various reviews regarding the experience from Europcar rentals in other places around the globe.
Common appears to be that the constellation around Europcar is a doubtful, if not pure criminal fraudulent one. THUS, AVOID RENTING CARS where Keddy, Europcar och Orbit Car Hire appear.

I rented a car throght Keddy in Chester. It turnes out that there is no sign for Keddy when you pick up, its actually Europcar where the deal is so much better if yiu go direct to them. Keddy take an £800 deposit, Europcar take £100. Europcar said that Keddy are simply a broker, which is misleading in their online advertising, I investigated online and it appears that Keddy is owned and operated by Europcar as a seoarate sales funnel. I feel cheated and misled.

Je tiens à partager mon expérience très décevante avec Keddy by Europcar lors de ma location de voiture à Brindisi en avril 2024. À la prise en charge, l'agence a refusé de faire l'état des lieux avec moi, me laissant seul pour vérifier le véhicule. La voiture était non seulement sale, mais présentait déjà des défauts, dont une légère griffe que visible lors d'un vidéo que j'ai faite "au cas ou" lors de la prise en main du véhicule.

À la restitution, on m'a accusé d'avoir causé cette même griffe qui existait clairement avant la location. Malgré mes preuves, j'ai été prélevé de 253,34 euros en août, soit plusieurs mois après la fin de la location. Après avoir contesté cette décision, Keddy a tout simplement ignoré mes arguments et proposé une coûteuse contre-expertise à mes frais.

Je suis extrêmement déçu par le manque de transparence et de professionnalisme de cette agence. Si vous louez chez eux, je vous conseille d'être très vigilant, car vous risquez de vous retrouver dans une situation injuste et désagréable, comme ce fut mon cas.

Je ne recommande absolument pas cette société.

Auto gehuurd via Keddy, verzekering bijgeboekt van €79, op de luchthaven van Alicante gemeld bij Europcar die vertelde dat de auto niet verzekerd zou zijn, de afgesloten verzekering dekte zo goed als niets, of we ter plekke maar even € 19,00 per dag wilden betalen, om zodoende eventuele schade te dekken die de reeds afgesloten verzekering niet zou dekken. Denk je goedkoper uit te zijn. Mensen, boek gewoon ditect bij de grotere maatschappijen, aan het eind van de rit ben je net zo duur, voor mij nooit geen Keddy meer

Very bad experience after returning the car to Dublin airport. We had to pay for a new tire because of some minor scratches that were clearly connected to an earlier accident. I used to be a regular costumer but I will never rent from them again.

the worst experience ever! I rent a car in Baku. First-car wasn ´t be prepared, than the guy in the office forced me to pay extra money for insurance (I know-my stupidity) and the worst -I put the car back in the middle of July and still no refund deposit money! No more with this company!

fuyez vite, Escroquerie en bande organisée avec Europcar!!! modification d'une réservation suite à un décalage de vol, la vendeuse en ligne me fait faire une nouvelle réservation me précisant que la première allait être remboursée dans les 7j. 26 j plus tard toujours rien (631 euros)! Un seul numéro pour appeler keddy qui est celui d'europcar; bizarre bizarre. qui vous précise que c'est un prestataire qu'il ne traite pas et qu'il faut voir avec euxalors que c'est leur numéro!! personne en ligne des mails sans réponses et 631 euros dans leur poche.. une HONTE affligeante pour une société comme Europcar ayant pignon sur rue..la somme est considérable pour particulier.. c'est honteux.

La politique de prix est très agressive, ce sont les moins chers du marché actuellement (Keddy by Europcar), mais ils se rattrapent en facturant de manière totalement abusive la moindre rayure, pour mon cas 1122,31 EUR pour une rayure de 5 cm sur le parechocs... J'ai déposé une réclamation et ils me font tourner en rond depuis 6 mois, leur politique est clairement définie pour arnaquer les clients... Je ne réserverai plus jamais chez Europcar.

Absolutely do not use. Took advantage of our inability to read/ speak French. Stuck on extra charges and didn’t explain what these were e.g. charge for returning the car without a full tank. Then told us we had to return with a full tank. Also stuck on additional charge for insurance even though we bought through EasyJet previously. We told them NO at the desk and showed our insurance certificate yet they still added this on. Lies all round. Racked up additional £200 charges which we were not aware of until 2 weeks after we got home and an invoice arrived in the post.

The car we were given had 50+ dents and no dust caps on tyres. It also had a dodgy tyre pressure sensor so constantly told us we had flat tyres. All in all, the worst experience.

A fuir !!!! Voiture réservée payée mais à l arrivée pas disponible. Nous nous sommes retrouvées avec une plus petite. Le lendemain nous avons du revenir chercher la bonne voiture toujours pas disponible. Nous avons eu une voiture de même catégorie mais non nettoyé et le plein pas fait. A notre retour il nous facture le plein car nous ´ avons pas en photo le réservoir non plein. Du grand n importe quoi. Pas sérieux du tout.

Skulle hente forudbestilt og betalt bil i Split lufthavn, men kunne ikke få udleveret en bil, da de ikke ville tage Visa-kortet til depositum og mit Mastercard ville de ikke bruge, da det var min mand, som var sat på som chauffør. Vi endte med at måtte leje en ny bil hos anden udbyder og dermed betale for to biler. Da jeg så ville afmelde den første bil havde de allerede checket den ind, så det kunne jeg ikke få lov til. VIRKELIG DÅRLIG SERVICE OG TOTAL ELENDIG OPLEVELSE!!! Lej aldrig bil gennem KEDDY.

worst experience ever, I rented a car with Keddy through Car Jet site for 8 days in Belgium with a plan to cross the border to France.
Suddenly in the confirmation appears that the car cannot be taken out of the country! Nowhere a clear warning during the booking. Since I had booked less than 48 hours before the trip I had to abandon without refund - I had called around to ask for a solution. Nothing. I still don't know where on earth this has been highlighted in the website. For me limit fraudulent practice.

Es grenzt an gewerblichen Betrug.

Kurz um. Ich habe ein Auto gemietet vom 22.04-26.04.

Ergo waren das vier Tage und 1000km inklusive für die ich auch den vollen Mietpreis bezahlte.

Nun habe den Wagen jedoch nur zwei Tage benötigt. Ist ja nicht schlimm.

Ich informierte den Vermieter, dass ich den Wagen schon am vereinbarten Abholpunkt abgestellt hatte, da ich einfach nett sein wollte. Der Wagen wurde dann auch erst am 29.04 abgeholt. Gut man brauche ich ihn wahrscheinlich nicht eher.

Mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass der Mietvertrag aber trotzdem für vier Tage abgeschlossen wurde und ich kein Geld zurückbekomme. Ich hab gesagt, dass dies in Ordnung sei. Ich wollte wie gesagt nur Bescheid geben.

Nun kommt die Abschlussrechnung.

Ich habe vier Tage gezahlt inkl. 1000km.

Ich bin 720km gefahren.

Nach Abschlussrechnung wurde nun die Mietzeit auf zwei Tage verkürzt. Nun hatte ich nur noch 500km inklusive und muss knapp 120€ für Mehrkilometer nachzahlen.

Also ich bezahlte vier Tage Mietzeit und mehrkilometer für zwei Tage Mietzeit ohne einen Änderungsvertrag unterschrieben zu haben.

So verdient man sich auch was dazu oder?
