Karikuy cancelled our trip and dont want to provide a full refund. They claim they are not liable for any damages because of covid. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I’m so pleased with my customer service from Karikuy Tours. I had a lot of questions about planning my trip, and they always communicated with me promptly and courteously. Very friendly and professional staff, I look forward to booking with them again in the future.

I found karakul tours to be excellent in both service and reliability we were met at the airport and advised of everything that was going to happen and it all went to plan you won’t be disappointed a1

We booked Karikuy tours for our 8 day trip to Peru. The co-ordination was fantastic. When we arrived at the airport the driver was waiting and took us to the hotel at Cuzco. They booked a nice hotel for us. Next day was a one tour of Cuzco which included 3 sites at Cuzco including Sacsayhuamán , Pisaq, Oiliantaytambo, and Chinchero.
Next day we started our 2 days short inka trail. our guide Gilbert was with us for the entire trip. He was very informative. He educated us on the Quechua language and meaning of many places on our trip. Karikuy also booked a nice hotel at Aguas Calientes during our w day trip.
The pickup was prompt from our hotel every day. The drivers were courteous and knowledgeable. Driver Eric was worth mentioning.
We did a day trip to Humantay Lake and Rainbow mountain.
The next 2 days we spent in Lima. One day tour to Paracas and Ica was well coordinated which included a taxi rides, Bus rides and different tour guides including trip to Ballestas island. The final day included a trip to Pachacamac and Lima City tour.
The taxi driver was waiting for us when we finished the City tour to take us back to the Air port.
Overall very impressed with their arrangements and the price is competitive.

I survived and enjoyed every moment during this 4-day inca trail! I cannot thank enough to my guide Pepe and the whole team operated by Karikuy including another guide Guito, who is funny and caring, my teammates, Isabella and Louis, a nice couple and strong trekkers from Spain and 6 amazing porters who provided the most delicious food in the wilderness! I feel so lucky to have Pepe as my guide. He made this trek perfect! He was always there if I needed any help. He encouraged me, took good care of me, and showed me all the beautiful flowers and plants along the trail! I gave my new BlackDiamond trekking poles to Pepe as a gift. I would absolutely recommend this tour operator and guide Pepe and Guito if you are thinking about 4-day Inca trail!

On a recent trip to Cusco, I used Karikuy for three different tours. My trip to Peru was basically spur of the moment and I did not do a lot of advance planning. Karikuy offered day trips to Moras/Moray and the Sacred Valley. I also took an overnight tour to MP which included the Vistadome train and one night at a hotel in Aguascalietes. In each case I was picked up directly at my hotel and all transportation, guide fees and admission costs were included. They were prompt in responding to emails and provide a very detailed intiniery for my trip to MP. Highly recommend.

We did three tours with Karikuy while in Peru and found their prices and service to be OK. As Karikuy operate as the booking agent and the tours operated locally, we were never sure who was in charge. We had a couple of transfers that were either late or did not arrive so it would have been useful to have the local contact details. All in all we had a fun time and the local tour operators were great.

Karikuy went above and beyond to help us on our trip. They kept a great communication throughout. I took the jungle tour and all of the accommodations were amazing. Our guides were friendly and super knowledgable and the staff was great. We requested vegetarian meals and they were very pretty tasty. I highly recommend anyone considering a tour in Peru to take it through Karikuy!

This company did book our entry tickets to the sacred Valley and Machu Picchu but that is all. They did meet us at the airport on arrival and took us to our hotel day one. they were then 45 mins late to pick us up for a Cusco city tour that afternoon and did not have the tickets with them for the next day. the next day we had a sacred Valley tour. they forgot to pick us up at all. our hotel was excellent and rang around until they worked out where we were meant to be and with who. We ended up have to climb the hill to meet a bus that had been waiting an hour for us. we were to catch a train that night (again no tickets were ready) our bus driver chased them up for us and even then we could only have photocopied tickets that we had to get exchanged for the real thing ourselves. arrived in machu picchu town and again had ticket issues which again with the help of a great hotel we got fixed.
I would not recommend this company for tours. all they did for us was book tickets and forget about us.
We did have a great time and would recommend visiting the country. Hotels and tours they booked for us were great, but their service was terrible and our ENGLISH Speaking guide Oscar we never even meet and he never returned a call or message

They did a great job fitting in all of our different goals in our limited time and were really helpful and flexible when one of the airports closed. All of the staff who met us were so helpful and professional. We even got a personal introduction to Lima’s cuisine.

We had a great time. The only bad thing was the hostel in Cusco which had a not so good standard. The rest of our tors were great.

Enjoyed the Jungle trek we all went on last August! Amazing once in a lifetime opportunity.

I had a great time on my two-day Inca trail. Guido had a great personality, and pride in his own Inca heritage. His English may have been a little weak, but it was adequate and at any rate not a big concern. Everything else about him more than made up for that. Paul and his daughter were a lot of fun also and Paul's hiking pace was pretty closely matched to mine.
So we related well. That was an important factor.

I was the oldest in my group and the groups around me (63). The guide was excellent about making sure I was doing okay without holding back the others in our group. We all had a blast!

Where do I begin. The Machu Pichu adventure rocked. I learnt so many fascinating things in such a short time. I enjoyed all the activities and the sites were beautiful.

This was the best adventure I've been on in a long time. Next time I visit Peru I'll check another package. Thanks for an amazing time.
