I’ve seen a lot of Advertisements on Instagram, and decided to spend my hard earned money on:
Medium Taylor Tote Bag
Leather Purse bag Strap
Purse
Totalling £159

Firstly the Tote Bag:
• Outsized is creased and dimpled extremely cheap looking no structure to it.
• The photo online showed personalisation to the front of the bag, however, it came with a personalised Keyring instead.
• It doesn’t feel or look like it will last two minutes
• The photos make it look like it is a really strong structured bag, it isn’t!!!
• The handles don’t stay permanently up like the pictures

Inside the tote bag
• Arrived literally 10 minutes ago and it’s already marked.
• Cheap lining that I would expect in primark, no luxury feel, looks like it will rip as soon as I feel it.
• No base board at the bottom of the bag, would not trust my laptop or iPad in it, no protection if you drop the bag or place it on the floor.
• cheap Central compartment, with no structure, unlike the online picture.
• The bag strap circle doesn’t look like it’s going to last it’s not heavy duty and I’m doubting if it will hold my laptop and papers.

The photos online are very deceptive.

The purse:

• Paid £24 in the sale, much better quality than the bag, looks and feels more durable.Nothing special though or luxury really about it. Definitely not worth the retail price of £49?

The strap I ordered isn’t particularly amazing, just a cheap strap and clasp, that I don’t particularly trust to carry all my work belongings.

It was nicely presented, in a lovely presentation box and paper, but I’m so disappointed!!!!

The personalisation is a free add on, so you can’t return the bag when you know how rubbish it is. Honestly, don’t waste your money with this company!!!

The Carrie bag is not as expected. All Carrie bags have an inside pocket (as you would expect on any decent bag regardless!) and all Carrie bags should be the same, or called a different name if each one is different in any way! Also did not come with the standard tassel that again is advertised on all Carrie bags! It took me months to decide and make my mind up. When it arrived it was very plastic feeling, not as I expected with all the hype about vegan leather! That automatically implies the leather would be in some way soft! Not rigid and in no way imitation of leather in any way! Gutted as I had my name on it and no way to return it! I will not be buying any more bags (and I had my eye on a few different ones to purchase!) I can also in good conscience not recommend this company as their items are based on one hit wonders and what I can only assume fake reviews, as it’s not great quality at all! I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to when their customer service proved that they are not interested in genuine feedback if not positive. Do not buy unless you like plastic looking bags!

I would think it's obvious how much l rate Johnny Loves Rosie as l have purchased three more bags in the last two months!! Excellent quality and outstanding customer service. Hopefully they keep this up!!

I ordered the Hudson bag in grey, and I’ll be honest and say that if I hadn’t had it personalised, I would have returned it. For a bag the cost nearly £100 it looks and feels very cheap. I haven’t used it yet, and I’m not sure if I will, which makes me rather sad, as it was a Christmas gift from my Son.

My husband purchased a bag and purse to match, the purse remains in good condition however the bag is in tatters as the lining ripped and I sewed it ! Again the other side zip lining has ripped! Bag quality the worst I have ever purchased and definitely not worth the money! Matching purse and bag Mother’s Day present and now only able to use purse

I bought the Brixton maxi in tan leather, really well made detail is lovely . I'm over the moon with this bag i will be purchasing again.
If u haven't purchased but thinking about it just do it

Another gorgeous purchase from JLR!
A Christmas present to me from me! I treated myself to the large Stella tote bag, the Riley leather purse and a few bag accessories too.
The large Stella bag came with a complimentary free strap, when it arrived I realised I picked the wrong strap and contacted customer services to see if I could exchange it for the one I wanted. Kelly in CS was fab got back to me in a timely manner even though it was the busiest time of year but managed to swap it for the strap I wanted. I love my bag it’s so big and more space for me to fill it up! Some lovely compliments from people at work and it just goes with everything! Can’t wait to get something else to add to my collection! ❤️

Bag took ages to arrive, customer service took ages to respond. Bag ok, thought it would be a bit bigger and the quality ok. Not worth all the hype though.

I received my bag, the quality was fantastic, I love it. The service was fantastic and I will certainly be purchasing another bag soon. Really impressive.

As always, extremely pleased with my purchases, The Rudy bag with complimentary strap for my daughter as a gift and for myself the Harrow bucket bag with additional fabric strap. Excellent quality. I have a few bags from this brand. Now loving the adjustable long straps instead of the non adjustable.

My mum bought me a bag for my birthday in December 2023 after lots of thought and care. There was an offer on to buy the bag and receive a free strap. My mum was sure she ticked the one I requested and yet it came with no extra strap. My mum has been in contact with you about this and you refuse to send us a strap, something which my mum believed was in the bundle she was paying for, for my birthday. I’m appalled by the service if I’m honest. I’ve never left a review before on a company, but I had seen your adverts online for over a year and thought why not. We certainly won’t be buying from this company again as this could have been such an easy fix for them to keep a customer who loves handbags! I’ll be going back to Katie Loxton and recommending them as they have been absolutely wonderful with problems before (even when items are personalised) because they care about their customer experiences. Such a shame, but I’ve seen a few comments like this on JLR Facebook. Lovely handbags, but awful service, the bare minimum, and not even that!

Edit: to make matters worse, I’ve just read a comment below from October where this happened to another lady and they were swift and fixed the problem for them and sent them a complimentary strap as they had advertised. Now even more disappointed that customer services (Kelly in this case) are inconsistent with responses. Why give her a strap and not us? We all paid for the bundle.

My mums email to you was personal, explaining how much we loved the bag and I loved it, and the response we had back from Kelly was incredibly matter of fact, no warmth and stated that the deal had ended and we were welcome to buy one! Unbelievable. We’ve paid for it!!

Love my Mocha Harrow Bucket Bag,
I have been looking for a everyday bag. This is great for casual to smart, also purchased a webbing strap for a different look.
Just purchased today a Tan Saddle Bag in the sale, can't wait to get it.

Can’t believe there are so many good reviews. I’m massively disappointed with the bag I recently received. I’m not sure what I expected vegan leather to look like, but it definitely wasn’t the super plastic looking stuff that this bag is made from. It looks cheap and nasty. I was going to try and return it but, because my initials are printed on a keyring attached, their returns rules won’t allow it.
