Although the bag looks good from a distance the overall quality is poor for the price paid. The £90 price tag should not result in a bag arriving with exposed glue on the internal seams, poor stitch work, no internal pockets despite being advertised as having these and overall flimsy material. It annoys me how much the word ‘luxury’ is used on the website multiple times yet the item is far from it. ‘Award winning vegan leather’ is some statement for polyurethane. Their luxury dust bag is no different to a 50p bag for life. It’s a shame because the overall design is lovely but that in itself does not justify the price.

I contacted customer services requesting a partial refund on top of the 20% Black Friday deal I took advantage of. I was offered a poor 15% further discount which to me is still well over what the item is worth. I put across all of my points as to why this is the case and surprise surprise everything has now gone very quiet.

Hats off to the marketing team, they certainly know how to make a cheap product look expensive online and dupe consumers into purchasing their sub par product.

Really disappointed with the bag.

1. States it fits a laptop, it doesn’t.
2. The personalisation shown on the website is on the bag, mine arrived on a key ring.
3. The JLR label is shown printed on the bag online, mine arrive as a big gold buckle.
4. The fabric strap is missing.

My husband contacted them immediately stating all the above points and has had 3 emails since refusing to allow us to return it on the basis that it is personalised. This is incorrect as it is a separate keyring which is personalised not the bag itself. My husband has even offered to pay for the key ring but they won’t let us do that either.

The bag delivered is completely different to the one advertised and I don’t think our request for a refund is unreasonable. Customer service is very poor.

The product speaks for itself! For this price, the quality, style, and functionality of this brand is beyond amazing. They even care to spend time on the packaging to give you this "wow" effect when you get your order. Despite the longer international delivery time, I'd say this is a good buy!

This is the 3rd bag I've ordered from JLR, 2 were bought as presents & I liked them so much the one I got recently is for me. I love the quality of these bags & the styles. The service from JLR is fab too. Highly recommended

Very disappointed with the bag I bought my daughter as a Christmas present - the quality was not as I'd hoped and some of the stitching was wonky, also a small chip of the "leather" was missing on one edge.
Had I known what 'Vegan Leather' was in the first place (my fault) I would never had even have considered it.

I treated myself to a bag from ‘Johnny loves Rosie’ at the start of the year, investing over £120 in my order. Initially, the bag appeared to be a luxurious buy, but its quality soon came into question. Within just a few weeks of use, I noticed the edges starting to peel away. Appreciating the brand’s customer service, I returned the bag and received a replacement.

However, the replacement bag soon exhibited the same issue, particularly on the handle. While initially dismissing this as wear and tear, it’s become clear that the bag’s edges are breaking and peeling off extensively, which is disappointing for a bag in this price range.

In comparison, I’ve found more affordable options at Marks and Spencer’s that offer better durability and value for money. Based on my experience, if you’re looking for a long-lasting bag, I’d recommend exploring other brands. ‘Johnny loves Rosie’ bags may have aesthetic appeal, but they fall short in terms of durability and build quality.

I have bought four bags in the last month, two for me and two as gifts and I am in love. I bought the Brixton and the Rumer and both are beautiful, classic bags. Customer service has been amazing and would highly recommend

I’ve been looking for a classic black bag for a while and am in loooooove with my JLR Brixton bag.
The choice of additional straps is great and the personalisation on the products are a lovely touch 💜

The rumer bag is a useful size and JLR have definitely upped their game since my first purchase. It did take almost two weeks and several messages to arrive, but this was the first time that has happened since I've been buying from them

I ordered the Harrow bucket bag, when it came it was packaged really nice, for me it was just a little too large to do cross body with, the smaller handle in the crook of your arm looked nice, but I want it cross body. Have sent it back, still waiting for a refund. Haven't had any response to say they are processing the refund.

I received a bag from my children last year as a birthday present, the first one that was delivered, once opened, I found the inner lining was all ripped inside. I sent it back and the company happily sent a replacement. However a year down the line, the seal around the edges of the bag and around the handle has started peeling off and the little leather hook where the strap clips onto has recently broken and detached, so I cannot use the bag anymore. This bag cost my children a lot of money and for that price I would have thought it would last longer than a year. Very disappointed and will not be purchasing from them again!

Well what more can I say about these adorable handbags!! They are amazing, gorgeous and pleasing to wear out and about. I've purchased over 10 bags of which half have been presents for my nieces who think they're very stylish!! I took one of mine to New York with me and several New Yorkers asked where I purchased them from. Service is speedy and if there's a problem an email is sent to you. The bags arrive well presented and in time too!! I'm always having a brows on the website as there's a good turn around of new bags, straps and assortment of tassels,labels to purchase. Well done 'Johnny Loves Rosie' company!!

I was looking for a vegan version of the Givenchy Antigona and felt this was the closest I would get. It's much bigger than I thought it would be and quite heavy before I've put anything in. I had hoped it would be a smart every day use bag but the size means it would be better as a work bag. It's well made and sturdy but the main zip is wonky. Bit of a mix up with shipping date but it arrived eventually. Not sure I would buy again

Love my new JLR Taylor bag purchased for upcoming holiday it’s absolutely gorgeous and so well made. Colour is lovely too. I chose the medium size although it is bigger than I expected and very much appreciated- just the right size for my needs!. Comms with JLR couldn’t have been better - I forgot to add a complimentary strap to my order (which is also so lovely) and emailed the team detailing my error - I received a very swift response asking me which strap I would like. I was really impressed by the very prompt response. Delivery was very quick too - I received notification that my order had been despatched within a couple of days. It arrived very well packaged and wrapped in lovely monogrammed tissue paper. Cant wait for my holiday and to start using my new bag. I must say the little touches from JLR make so much difference. I have my eyes set on bag no 2!

The initial website etc is lovely, randomly stumbled onto this website while looking for a new everyday black bag.
Ordered a personalised one almost a week ago and have not have any delivery info. Have sent an email and messaged on live chat, live chat said 'we usually respond via email or chat within a few minutes.' It's been a couple of hours. Feeling a bit concerned as I saw someone say theirs didn't arrive..

UPDATE - Seconds after my review I received a shipping email. Ironic, but appreciated. :)

Absolutely love these bags - I now own 3! The quality is amazing , really soft vegan leather and I think the cost is reasonable for such high quality bags. The customer experience is great too- never had any issues and delivery is quick. Would definitely recommend this company!

I feel I need to make the effort to review this company. The customer service this company deliver is just exceptional. I’m not sure I’ve ever received costumer service like it!
I contacted JLR regarding my bag which had unfortunately broken. I sent them photographs and explained the situation.
Without any hesitation they informed me of their guarantee policy and have organised for a replacement to be sent out straight away- even though it was a personalised item! I wasn’t expecting a replacement and I have to say I’m lost for words. If only more companies delivered customer service to this standard, the shopping world would be a better place.
I will be recommending this company and their products because both are just fantastic.

I hardly ever write a review about any online purchases I make. However, I feel Customer Service at this company deserve a special mention. I had an issue with my payment (my fault) and contacted customer service. The reply was prompt, efficient, polite and ended up in me being refunded some money even before my bag arrived. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the bag and with the excellent customer service. It has left me with a big smile on my face and a definite recommendation for anyone thinking of using this company 😊
