JD Gyms - Stockton South Arvostelua 

I wanted to join the gym again to get back into my fitness and didnt know where to start so I asked about personal trainers and that’s when I got a phone call from Avnish and we set up a meeting to speak more about what I was looking for. I met up with Avnish and went into detail about what I wanted to achieve and he was very informative and helpful and definitely knew what he was talking about. I’ve been training with Avnish now for a couple months and he helps me so much along the way building my strength and working on my fitness and my goals I want to achieve and he’s always pushing me to do better! He also explains every machine we use or weight we work with to gain my confidence in going to the gym alone which it helps. I have a great training plan in place from him and my goals are becoming a reality. So if anyone needs that help he’s the right guy for it. The gym itself has some brilliant facilities and machines to use and is always so clean and spotless it’s a great place to work on your fitness and strength.

I've been coming to this gym since it opened, and it is by far the best gym that I've ever attended. I've been a member of a few different gyms, and this is by far the cleanest gym that I've been to. The staff that I've spoken to are very friendly, especially Michelle, who is one of the cleaning ladies.

Love this gym, perfect for women, separate glute section which is my favourite. Classes are Brillaint, and can always get on a treadmill

Love going to this gym . The only two downfalls would be that some of the machines are a bit close together and when it’s busy and you are trying to move around people it’s easy to whack the front of your shin bone or the side of your head on a machine 😂 I like relaxing in the sauna after a workout but sometimes I like to get dressed in private and if the changing room is full I end up going in the toilet to get changed because there is only one private room . I cannot fault and of the staff .Michelle especially is very approachable and friendly . She likes to help people and make people laugh 🙂

This is my first time back in a gym since I had my first child 8 years ago. It's friendly, roomy and really well equipped. Being able to shower and use the sauna after a session feels like a nice little treat. I'm also impressed by the cleanliness here, usually the changing rooms are gross but they're spotless here!

I joined this gym due to their early morning class, which gradually started to become inconsistent. Then non existent, forcing the people who turned up to create their own classes.
I found a gym with consistent classes and explained to JD that they were not providing the service I signed up for therefore leaving the gym and gave notice.
It took 3 weeks for someone to get back to me. And in the email it states my membership will end in 5 weeks! I sent the original email 3 weeks ago meaning I am giving 8 weeks notice!
The customer service is appalling and I have never once seen someone clean the equipment.
The atmosphere is unfriendly and I’m glad to see the back of the place.

Great gym great staff gets very busy on a night but plenty of machines and equipment.. could do with a better variety of classes on a night as they are very repetitive. Also more stair masters required as the are always full

Great range of equipment and PTs available. Since October I’ve had a PT, Pippa - she’s amazing and completely changed my outlook and confidence in the gym and around nutrition. Before October I wouldn’t really venture into the weights area as I lacked confidence, whereas now with the support and encouragement of Pippa I feel confident in the gym. I’ve never been this consistent with my gym progress and this is all down to the work of Pippa!
