JD Gyms - Leeds North Arvostelua 

overall good gym and convenient, app recently has issues despite uninstall and installed several times but still the scan page not coming up needs to keep clicking for ten. minutes by if you lucky, the staff can't help,

Very disappointed at being lied to I attended the gym this morning and was advised not to leave my bike outside as the two lads that had stolen a bike the previous day where scoping the gym again tried to put in the gym but got no help from the staff will be putting a complaint in.

Feels like standards are slowly beginning to slip at this gym. Overall it is usually great, however, recently there has been a significant amount of equipment that has been out of order at the same time. It is also disappointing to see that certain machines have been removed which doesn’t help either.

Finally, I would like to bring attention to the hygiene and cleanliness of the toilets which is often poor, the floor is usually dirty and there is a constant smell of urine.

Really like the Leeds north gym overall. My main issue is lately, there has been too much equipment out of order and not being replaced or fixed with any pace.

Leg day today and 4 leg machines were out of order

Over the last MONTH the SAUNA has not been turned on first thing in the morning
I’ve on a number off occasions asked the LADY MANAGER to put it on
I shouldn’t have to ask every other morning to put it on
By the time you finish training and go in the SAUNA is cold at 6-15 in the morning
When the GENTLEMAN MANAGER was on it was always LOVELY AND HOT at 6-15 in the MORNING
it’s ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL now

Well i joined the gym 2 months ago sea-craft one 2 months ago, the gym was ok but not great the equipment are too old and they put the equipment really close to each other and you have to be careful to go from one place to another specially when its busy, toilet was always dirty when ever you use it like gym is busy all the time so you have to clean the toilet every hour and shower room water is really really slow when more people is using it

Love the sauna. Plenty of lockers.
There's plenty of weights machines.
Just disappointing that my local JD Gym doesn't have any yoga classes on, on an evening.

changing room are a disgrace for years and the short dark skin riod using trainer thinks he owns the gym, just causally walks up and takes wights off the machine you are sat on, then ingores you. Will be cancling soon.

Great equipment but it's just way too busy! I getvpeak times are always pretty full on but JD gyms just seem to hit the US type 'planet fitness' busy!
Unfortunately won't be a member for long

Cancelled my subscription giving 30days notice, but payment was taken out at the end of the 30 days noticed giving a further 30 days notice I didn't want, great service guys!

Leeds North is a fantastic facility for keeping fit. The Personal Trainers are extremely professional & approachable.
More important for me is they give you eye contact when they interact.

Well,just joined the JD gym little bit disappointed most of machines are very old and have a huge changing room but don’t have a private changing room not comfy to change my clothes front of others

Excising is great if done in right environment, was with JD gym Leeds North for good few months, and can say that it wasn't a great experience due to damaged equipment everywhere (injured once by falling of a faulty treadmill), on top of that low hygiene.
About 2 month ago they started upgrading the building, so dust was everywhere due to builders working on this old building which I'm sure contains asbestos too.
After I felt ill of their dust I requested cancellation and refund from the day they started building work, they refused to refund, and did not even apologize and I'm sure they didn't even record the complain, I wish I claimed a compensation through court.
Will not recommend JD gym.

Customers service word does not exist in JDGym dictionary. No telephone answer, email takes 14days to answer. Trying to freeze my membership can’t do it as CAPTCHA error message keeps coming. Raised this matter in email but email response will be after 14 days. But a diabolical customer service is. Customers are the wages, keeping the company in business, earning dividends for shareholders, but customers are kicked in their teeth. It is same with every organisation. JDGYM is no different. Shame on JDGYM While I am writing this feedback, same time I am on telephone to gym for 18 minutes, but no answer.

Over the last few months I have been pushed off a machine by a member of staff there on two separate occasions. Yes, pushed off.
The first time he pushed me away on my shoulder.
The second occasion he grabbed my hand and physically moved it off the equipment.
On neither occasion did he say anything, ask if it was okay for his client to use the machine, or speak to me in any way. He just used physical contact to force me off.
The first time I was shocked to be honest, and just walked away.
The second time I was really cross and challenged him directly. He just laughed at me and didn't respond, acknowledge me or apologise in any way.
I have submitted a formal complaint, but the local management have been completely uninterested and unsupportive.
I have asked for the complaint to be escalated, and weeks later I am waiting for a response.
If you want to join a gym where there's a chance you will be physically removed from a machine by a member of staff, and where any complaint you raise will be treated with disdain, complete lack of interest, and lack of support, this is the gym for you.
If you don't, please go somewhere else.

It’s a clean and tidy gym with all the great facilities I am 71 years old and first time at a gym I wish that I had joined years ago looking forward to my next visit.

The yoga tutor was very welcoming and checked that we had enjoyed it.

Most of the cv machines are broken and falling to bits. Place was clean and looked nice, so odd to see equipment isn't maintained. Lots of equipment,spacious and modern. And was cool even through the heatwave
