I am very disappointed
I am very disappointed with how my situation was handled. I missed the course because the venue details were emailed only one day before the event, and unfortunately that email went into my spam folder. I had no idea where the course was being held until after the event. It was only when I contacted InnerCamp that they suggested I check my spam folder, where I then found the email several days later.
I completely understand that businesses have terms and conditions, but I was hoping for some understanding and flexibility. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable—either a refund or the opportunity to attend a future course. Unfortunately, both requests were refused, despite the fact that I had paid in full and genuinely wanted to participate.
This experience has left me feeling that customer care is lacking when unexpected situations arise. A more flexible and compassionate approach would have made a huge difference. Sadly, based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

We would, however, like to clarify a few important points. First, your reservation was for our onsite Holosomatic Breathwork workshop in Birmingham, rather than a course or training, as stated in your review.
We were first contacted regarding the venue on the day of the event. Prior to that, we had not received any communication indicating that the venue details had not been received. As with all of our events, several organizational emails, including the venue information, were sent to participants in advance, and your inquiry was responded to on the very same day it was received. Had we been contacted earlier, we would have been more than happy to assist.
After carefully reviewing your case, we confirmed that all communications related to your reservation, including the venue details, were successfully sent to the email address you provided at the time of booking. The venue information was also available on the event page on our website. We have already shared this information with you via email and remain happy to provide any additional evidence or documentation should you require it.
While we appreciate that the venue email was later found in your spam folder, we unfortunately have no control over how individual email providers filter or display incoming messages once they have been successfully delivered.
For this reason, we must stand by the Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of your reservation and our cancellation policy, which clearly states that, in the event of a no-show, payments are non-refundable and no credit is offered. Applying these terms consistently is essential to ensuring fairness for all participants. Thank you for respecting the terms of your reservation with InnerCamp and our boundaries.
Following our correspondence, you clearly stated that you understood our position, so we are disappointed to see this review afterwards.

Too much marketing
Overall it was a marketing event mainly focus in sale there events and online curses. I didn't like the way Alexis approach certain themes about psychotherapy, suggesting they can treat depression and other psychological issues. They make you choose if you want "bodywork" wich i imagine is like assistance for those who may struggle, but I didn't get that even though others they did feel in the event. I don't think is for beginners. Nothing that you can not get from a YouTube video. €80 is a LOT for what they offered in those 3 hours.

We'd like to offer some context on a few points.
Our sessions are three hours and almost entirely dedicated to the practice itself. At the end, the facilitator may take five to ten minutes to share a little about Innercamp, who we are, what we do at InnerCamp, and our programs, but the session is never designed or run as a marketing or sales event — the focus is always the practice, and if it felt otherwise to you, we're sorry it left that impression.
On the subject of psychotherapy, we want to be clear that we never claim to treat depression or any psychological condition. What we do share is that breathwork and somatic practices can support overall wellbeing — something explored in a growing body of scientific research including in books written by medical doctors in the field.
Regarding receiving bodywork, this is entirely up to each person. We use consent cards precisely so that everyone chooses for themselves whether they'd like hands-on support from our trauma-informed facilitators — nothing is ever imposed, and no one is put on the spot.
Our events are also designed to be accessible to all levels, which is noted on the event page, so we're sorry if you left feeling it wasn't welcoming to beginners — that's important to us and something we'll keep working on.

I`m so happy that I participated in…
I`m so happy that I participated in Innercamp Bodywork Training. From the very beginning, I could feel how much care and professionalism goes into everything they do. The training is trauma-informed, well structured, and created in a way that supports both learning and personal growth.
I really enjoyed the homework and assignments because they helped me integrate what I was learning and gain confidence in my skills. The teachers are incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and hold the space with so much presence, warmth, and care.
One of my favorite parts was the hybrid format (on-site & online training). We had plenty of opportunities to practice both 1-to-1 sessions and group sessions, which gave me valuable hands-on experience.
Another thing I love is the lifetime access to the course materials and the ongoing support from the Innercamp team. Knowing that I can revisit the content whenever I need to and continue receiving support makes the training even more valuable.
I am deeply grateful for this experience and highly recommend Innercamp to anyone looking for a professional, trauma-informed training that supports both personal healing and professional development.

The breathing techniques were perfect
The breathing techniques were perfect. I was guided into the session and felt that I was following the instructions. What was slightly distracting was the background music. For me it was too slow and a frequency that I could not feel really into.

Having been to a evening event, which was amazing and freeing of the mind, I then signed up to the 3 day retreat with innercamp which helped me come out of freeze mode. I was present in the Sunday session and once again, it was simply amazing. The breathwork session facilitated by Alexis and Marjolein was a bliss and I can still feel the positive effects.
After several online and in person sessions, and a facilitator training with InnerCamp, I can say that I am a big fan and happy to be in the community. These guys are doing the real work, uphold ethics and genuinely want to help people. They are professional and humans at the same time, they are transparent about everything and very supportive when help is needed. My Experience with InnerCamp’s Certification Process
I joined InnerCamp with genuine commitment and completed all written coursework and assignments. Before Level 2 began, I informed the team about a serious health condition I was managing. They encouraged me to continue and asked me to complete all assignments, which I did with full dedication. Even during a severe medical crisis, I attended sessions whenever I was physically able.
After the review, I was offered only a 10% waiver on the $2,500 continuation fee and told I would need to travel to complete the program — something unrealistic for me as a working mother recovering from a health condition. When I explained this and asked for compassion, the offer changed again, this time to a $600 administrative fee plus any price difference to join a future online cohort.
Given the significant investment I had already made, along with substantial medical expenses, I hoped for more empathy and consistency. Instead, the process felt rigid, transactional, and misaligned with the supportive values the program teaches.
The content itself was meaningful, but my experience with the certification process was disappointing. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We genuinely appreciate the commitment you brought to the training, and we acknowledge the personal health challenges you faced during this period.
As explained throughout our communication, the reason you did not qualify for certification was not related to your written assignments, but to the fact that several mandatory live student facilitation sessions/activities in Level 2 were missed. These practical sessions are a core certification requirement, as they assess the skills needed to safely and ethically facilitate others. For this reason, we cannot issue a professional certification when these requirements have not been completed, regardless of the circumstances. This is a matter of professional responsibility, ethics, and fairness towards every student who completes the required live work.
While we were unable to waive the certification requirements, we did our best to support your situation by offering alternative pathways because we truly wanted to help you in this situation. These included transferring your place to the next edition for an administrative fee only, rather than paying the full training fee again, or rejoining a future training with the exclusive InnerCamp student discount whenever you felt ready. Unfortunately, neither option was accepted.
Our decision, as well as the alternatives offered, is fully aligned with the InnerCamp Terms of Service, which are accepted during the enrolment process and apply equally to all students.
We truly empathise with the challenges you experienced and sincerely wish you continued healing. At the same time, our responsibility is to uphold the integrity of our certifications and ensure they reflect the same professional standards for every graduate.

I am following InnerCamp for more than a year. Every session that i attend i am really connected to my inner-self and have felt experiences that are difficult to describe in words. Last time i felt healing in my body for which i was suffering for long time immediately after the session. On arrval at tge avent .was greeted…
On arrval at the event .I was greeted with smiles and very helpful ladies .they were very clear and helpful .once signed in we then went to the room where the breath work was happening .Again everybody was greeted and made to feel welcome and comfy and if everybody needed to ask questions or worried .They were here to help.when the breath work started the lady spoke very clear and made everybody to feel relaxed. We did our breathwork and at the end we were asked questions if we wanted to speak about our expirience. Myself found extreamly relaxed and good in myself not feeling stressed . Got an email when i got home and following days asking if i was okay and what to expect afterwards from start to finish everybody were very well looked after .I definitly recomend to others to do it and have told my friends ,who now want to go .Im definitly going to do more wordshops and next year would like to do a weekend workshop.THANKYOU TO THE TEAM FOR LOOKING AFTER EVERYBODY .And guiding each of us .
