Impact Guru Arvostelua 

I made a donation through Impact Guru a few years ago, and ever since last year, I’ve been receiving frequent calls from them asking for more contributions. Despite requesting that my number be removed from their database, I continue to get these calls. While they claim to be coming from India, the calls are actually from US numbers.

I understand the importance of supporting causes, but I want to make it clear that once you donate through them, you may start receiving these frustrating calls. Please understand that people like us contribute with the intention of helping those in need, and we expect that our efforts aren’t exploited for business purposes. Impact Guru, I urge you to reconsider these tactics. We support causes because we care, not because we want to be harassed.

Please, do better.

I have very bad experience they cheated me with 5 lakh rupees and they are calling again and again for donation. All advertisement are fake and please be aware of this scam.

Impact Guru tries to encash on people's emotions. I started paying them $100 every mnth as a direct debit but their sales team would still call me to pay over and above it. Forcing me to pay for their newer projects, , raise my per month contribution. Fed of this I asked them the procedure stop the monthly payments; their response - please pay for this pateint before you stop!!! that gave me a clear signal, they are SPAM and FRAUDs nit serving any needy but filling their own pockets. I blocked their direct debit, but still keep calling me... I stopped taking their calls, use smart identifier on my phone and avoid their calls altoghter.
But must say its beacause of FRAUDSTERS like these, teh genuine and needy people suffer

I had the worst experience with Impact Guru. They market themselves as a crowdfunding platform to help people in need, but in reality, they seem more focused on filling their own pockets. Despite their claims of promoting fundraisers, not a single rupee was contributed from their so-called "promotion"—all the funds came from my close friends and family.

To make things worse, they kept calling relentlessly, even during a personal emergency, adding unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. But the biggest shock came when they deducted a massive platform fee from the funds we had raised ourselves.

It feels like they are running a business disguised as a charity platform, preying on people in vulnerable situations. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for genuine support. Be cautious before using their services!

They are basically fraud company. They don't circulate or promote any fundraiser. Rather they force patients to collect funds in impact guru account. And after raising a fund they don't provide you the money and close the fundraiser. If you want to help someone then help him or her directly to patients account. Otherwise your money will be in drain. And they literally harass patients by calling several times a day for collecting funds.

Even after sending mailer to close my account and being asked to remove my number from database, I am continuously getting calls which are sometimes disturbing and harassing. I have removed my account from their app as well. But they have no sense and continuously calling me. Their callers sometimes speak in a threatening and ridiculing tone over the phone. They tell that in a month they will make only one call but I have got more than one call this month itself. I think this organisation is a fake and scam organisation.

its very good platform and very useful for very poor people

I had donated to impact guru several times in past . So when one of my village relative was in need I created a fundraiser and informed impact guru about their poor background and education along with their need for an operation. I was in a little shock when they said they have 9.4% platform fee. I agreed! We collected $ 1700+ all of the money through my friends and relatives. When the day came , I asked them to transfer to the beneficiary. I was in major shock again when they said only 90 k rupees will be transferred, rest will be deducted as a fee and promotion. So out of 150 k collected they will be giving back only 90 k. As per them the poor guy who has an operation gave consent to use his fund for promotion ( I had already informed them about their poor background and understanding), and so called promotion did not add 1 rupee apart from what I collected through my friends. He needs 22lacs rs , we could collect only 1.5 lac and out of that they are taking 60 k. As a fundraiser initiator I never gave consent for anything apart from the platform fee. So this is 100% dirty fraud. Cyber fraud! Making money from somebody’s misery! Please suggest and help me to fight against them! Please suggest some options, I really want to fight this legally!

I donated for a personal cause once and boy do I regret giving them my phone number. They keep calling me asking me for donations for random causes, in spite of telling them repeatedly not to contact me again, the calls don't stop coming.
I highly advice everyone to not be involved with this company! I'm thinking of taking legal actions.

I don’t want to discourage everyone from donating to those in need, but I want to warn you to avoid donating through this platform. Once you donate, they’ll harass you relentlessly with phone calls at odd hours and throughout the day. They don’t take complaints seriously and keep calling for donations even after you’ve made it clear that you don’t want to continue. This platform should be avoided at all costs.

These people are spammers and making annoying calls at odd times. I helped once but then they are chasing me at odd times to get money. Horrible experience

Terrible! Used them once to help a friend and now they don't stop calling me for "emergencies", asking them to stop doesn't work and their numbers don't get show up with their name, so can't just reject a call like other spam calls :/

ImpactGuru markets itself as a crowdfunding platform for medical emergencies, but based on my experience, I would urge potential users to exercise caution. Here’s a summary of my observations and issues:

Initial Contact and Charges:

When you create a fundraiser, their team quickly contacts you under the guise of a "new call."
They explain their charges and services very rapidly, making it hard to grasp the complete picture.
The platform claims they will assist in sharing the fundraiser widely, but in reality, they seem to lack an effective donor network.
High Deductions:

Charges such as due diligence fees (₹3,540 + ₹2,500) are deducted almost immediately.
For instance, if you raise ₹10,000, you might receive only ₹2,000–₹3,000 after deductions.
Additional Costs:

Insurance fees and premium services are aggressively marketed, with deductions made automatically if you opt in by mistake.
These "premium services" provide little tangible value, and funds raised primarily from friends and family end up significantly reduced by platform fees.
Lack of Action:

Despite promises to amplify the fundraiser, their team appears to do minimal work in promoting campaigns.
Core team members like Piyush Jain, Ankita Kumari, and Prashant Pandey seem to focus more on upselling services rather than supporting fundraisers effectively.
Recommendation:
If you are looking to raise funds for a medical emergency, it might be more beneficial to raise money directly in your own account rather than relying on ImpactGuru. While their 80G tax benefits might seem appealing, the deductions and lack of genuine support could outweigh any advantages.

Worst experience

This organization is applying marketing for more donations from the previous donors. My Data has been compromised. Also they deducted commission from the donations received for the patient even after donors paid tip and transaction fees.

I've created an account in 2021, don't even remember for what reason. And surprisingly, they have started to call me since October 2024 and ask for donations. OK, so I've tried to login to the webpage, but it doesn't work. It won't send OTP to my phone number, it won't send email reset link either. This alone is very suspicious to me, so I'm not gonna pay them a dime and block them.

Repeatedly calling for donations despite unsubscribing. I have donated before and don't trust them anymore. They are kind of blackmailing, i have blocked their numbers several times and seems like they just sold our data to other charity scams.

It is totally fraud towards Donors.. one day they called me and asked me the donation, then I said I’ll pay through the online but they said “no mam we will send you link and you can pay through that link” then I paid.. after that every month some amount is deducting from
My account automatically without my concern.. don’t trust these kind of people.. it’s totally fraud

As everyone else they also commit fraud with me once i was donate them by my wish, after that they done mandate ESC from my accound without my concern . I don't know how they do that but they do. And because of their fraud i freeze my account which i used from very long time. So, guys i request to everyone do not donate them anything, once you give them by your wish after that they deduct money from your account automatically. they are gurus of scam.
