It was the greatest experience of my life. Ikara is exponentially better than other options that I had.

When you look at pricing, choosing iboga (12 alkaloids not 1 alkaloid) over ibogaine, and have multiple opportunities to take it (I had 4 opportunities and 3 at the retreat and one post retreat), the result is exponentially better.

Kuma and Manga have their heart into it. The center is supremely beautiful.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you again! Now, two months after the ceremony where Iboga guided Andreas Ikalu and G, as well as David with his booming laughter. In a way, my own process had already begun before the ceremony. A year earlier I’d had a tough psychedelic session that really shook me. Somehow, I still wasn’t afraid of Iboga, and Andreas had complete control over my process during the ceremonies and gave me exactly the right amount of Iboga medicine for things to land in the right place. The sense of safety and understanding of how Iboga works was very strong with Andreas and G.

My life before Iboga had been (despite about 15 Vipassana courses) very much in my head, caught up in the future and the past with thoughts and old patterns. Now my wife says that I’m enjoying life, and I can even feel that the smallest thing can bring me satisfaction and happiness. I feel that Iboga is something special, and I have this feeling of a “second chance” in life, I choose positivity instead of negativity.

Finally, I would say that an Iboga retreat is one of the finest gifts you can give yourself. Thank you, thank you to everyone — and not least to myself!

I came to Iboga after seeing the change it did to my dying husband. He came back alive and the healing started after his return from Iboga last hope treatment. Indeed, after being left alone by modern medicine and best clinics in Switzerland and Germany, we were left alone fighting a disease that was taking his life slowly away.
After this life rescue, he told me that the plant also fixed some traumas and it is true I have seen some peace and happiness in him I have never seen before. And it did last! Weeks, months go by and my husband is still healing, getting slowly better and still at peace.
I had to try it because I wanted to see what the plant would do to me. At that time, I was operating like an automated robot doing what was expected from me to run smoothy my household (3 young kids), sick-dying husband and trying to maintain our business afloat (we are entrepreneurs). My kids were asking me why I never smiled and this hit me. I had to do something to fix myself. I was not physically ill but certainly not mentally okay. I had no joy and felt stressed all the time. Something with me was off.

So I signed up to an Iboga retreat happily with my husband’s support and confidence he is in a good place to look after our kids and toddler. I could let go and focus on getting my happiness back and whatever I lost on my journey to adulthood.

I was welcomed by Andreas and Gajanan in a charming house in Portugal. I knew I would spend 7 days in a group of 4 guests. It was a retreat where you have nothing to do except thinking and reflecting about yourself. That was quite refreshing. I did not know what to expect from ceremonies except that these happen at night.

I do not want to detail too much here about the ceremonies but I can certainly share that my experience with Iboga allowed me to reconnect with my Old self. The One I was when I was a happy and carefree kid. It was extraordinary to feel what I felt when I was 6.

After the retreat, I realised how grateful I was with my life. The happiness of having my family. I wanted to work on having my smile back and went back home with a strategy to maintain this Joy every day. Cherish each day and be simply happy. Also, my priorities quite changed since that retreat. My family comes first and work second.

I highly recommend this retreat for people looking for a lost path, lost happiness or lost Self?

I have in all my life only beleived in treatments (psycological and medicinal/drugs) which has been scientifically proved. I have seen several different psycologists over the years and tried different medications against depression. Nothing has worked for me. My life has been ok but I had lost all happyness and was constantly too tired to do anything. I heard about Iboga treatment from a family friend and how well it helped him, and when I felt there was no longer any scientifcally proved treatments that worked for me, I decided to try Iboga.
The days I spent with Iboga in the care of Anders and G changed my life. Both Anders and G were there for me to help me help myself to feel better again. They were always ready to listen and give insights when I needed. Iboga has somehow made my brain reset. I remember everything from before but I no longer carry the bad and heavy feelings from before. I have energy and will to do things in my life again.
I did not have a halucinogenic experience, as many say you have with Iboga, but it made me realize what I had to change in my life to feel good again. And by "resetting" my brain the old emotional luggage went away and I had the strength to do the changes I needed to feel good again.It has made me live again, not just survive the day.

This unforgettable journey was guided with the most genuine care and compassion. A truly transformative experience.

This is a note to fully endorse Moabì and Gajanan on 1) being outstanding people. And 2) being exceptionally talented at the services they provide. I would consider them to be spiritual advisors of the highest order and caretakers of the who give agency to the people that they are entrusted to care for. They provide a service that is highly valuable in light of the current world that we're living in. We have shifted from a heart based society into a mind based society. And I guess you could say that I was at the front edge of that transition. Most of my cognitive awareness was based in the mind and the mental makeup that are ego driven. And a lot of that actually went against nature, and it took a pretty epic crash for me to seek a new solution for support. This solution for support is actually a very old solution by the way and shape of plant medicine from Africa. And I think I discovered this after exhausting every other possibility which I guess is condition of most Americans is to stumble across the right answer after exploring all the wrong ones. But for me, that journey went from a highly depressed, alone individual who had essentially made a ton of wrong choices, and who had neglected his soul for a long period of time, and by doing so found myself in a world of misery and by enlisting the support of Moabì and Gajahan, which I was lucky enough to receive, I was able to reconnect with myself and find a pathway forward and with the mental clarity and the agency to embark upon that journey with an open and joyful heart in a way that has eluded me for a very long time. So this message may not be for everyone, it may be only for a few. And those few among you that are looking for a real path that requires both emotional investment and grit as opposed to a magic pill that can solve your problems than it may be for you. Plant medicine can take you half the way there, but you have to do the work for the other half so if you want an easy solution, they might not be the right choice but if you're willing to work for it and willing to take a chance, I think you'll find that there is something that has eluded you for a very long period of time on the other end of your work with Moabì and Gajahan so I wish you well. I give them my full endorsement and I hope that you make the right choice for yourselves.

Life transforming experience!!!

I traveled last year too moughenda village in Gabon for 10 days.
My intention was to complete the Initiation process with the master medicine "Mr Choice".
Unfortunately after the second ceremony my body was not reacting well (due to 27 years of abusing it) and it was decided that I could not take part in the final 2 ceremonies.
My body needed more time too Detox all the abuse...

Thank you for holding the amazing space from Ikalu and G and for all the counseling sessions during the retreat. The food served was very good and full of energy to go fully into the medicine. The dosage was perfect from Ikalu to have enough "fuel in the tank" to clear whatever obstacle was in my way and to find myself more. For anyone that thinks of going, do it, Ikalu will help you overcome what you need.

A truly incredible experience. I was able to work on childhood traumas with the help of professional guidance. It changed how I see my self in my core. I’m a happier man today compared to who I was before the treatment and I can definitely recommend this.

For me this retreat and experience was truly amazing and a game changer towards the perspective of life. Didn’t know what to expect at all but came out with insights I didn’t know I was lost for. Will definitely do this again in life!

Andreas, who runs Iboga retreats, is a wonderful, honest man who pust his hole heart into helping participants find what they came for. Iboga care is now the new name of the Portugal based arm of Root Healing, which is advantageous to those of us who do not want to travel further afield.

This is the real deal folks. The retreat is run by Andreas (aka Ikalu) who is a fully initiated Shaman by a 10th generation Bwiti Shaman called Moughenda in Gabon, Africa.

The retreat was run exactly as Andreas indicated, in a relaxed and positive fashion. The group was small (there were 4 of us in my group), a deliberate decision by Andreas to provide more direct and individual support than could be offered to a large group. At the time of writing, typically Andreas runs 2 Iboga retreats a month.

We stayed in a residential area but the property itself is large and very discrete for this type of work. You wouldn't know an Iboga retreat was taking place there! We all had our own bedroom and there was plenty of space to sit alone or with other participants as we wished.

Food is provided in a abundance! Nobody went hungry. Our group had a particular fondness for peanut butter, so our request for more was met quickly by frequent trips to the supermarket by the organiser. We also had fresh bread every day and nutritious meals.

Transport to and from the airport is provided making that part of the journey a whole lot less stressful.

I attended 2 Iboga ceremonies, both of which were suitably supported; I received plenty of care when I needed it.

I have been fortunate to be able to attend several different types of retreat in recent years and this is definitely one of the best ones. If you are looking for an Iboga retreat in Europe, this is it!

There really are no words to describe this experience especially in the care of Andreas.

He made me feel so comfortable and taken care of through the whole thing. Nothing felt forced or inauthentic. The whole experience felt calm and at my own pace.

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! trust me I’m from NY, I can smell bullshit a mile away. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. The insights I had on myself and my life, the addictions I’ve dealt with, now completely gone.

I was smoking for 20yrs or so, and now completely stopped. It’s been almost a month and I’m still clean. With no jitters, no harsh cravings. I never thought this was possible.

But mostly it was Andrea’s that I can’t speak enough of. He’s just a really cool guys and I felt like I hit the absolute jackpot with him as my shaman. As my guide through this extremely intense beautiful experience.

I’ve done a lot of psychedelics and ayuscha and this doesn’t even compare not even close/ this is so much deeper; intentional and insightful than anything I’ve ever done.

Someone told me Iboga is like doing 60 years of therapy in one session, and it really did feel like that. But not in a scary way. If anything it was cathartic. I don’t know how to describe it well, but if you want to enter into a completely different universe one that feels more real than anything you could ever see or touch, this might be for you. Everything I ever questioned in life or about myself, I had answers for with 100% certainty.
