I got a charge of £19.99 from this company that I have never heard of contacted them and they advised they had cancelled my subscription. Asked to get a refund of the money they took and have now stopped responding to my emails

They only showed me a couple of choices and not with an AI. Then they changed me 19.99. I thought I was only getting a one time change. Just be ware. Should have googled first.

I paid the $8 for the app thinking it was a one time payment. Now, 3 weeks and almost $60 later I find out that they're charging my card $19.99 every week! July 7, July 14, July 21, and they'll take another $19.99 on the 28th. This was not authorized by me and I can't afford it!
Their app tells you how to change your payments but I don't have the options they say to use in settings to do that. And the only way to get ahold of them is through email (which I just did, we'll see if they answer)
My bank says the only way to keep them from continuing to charge me is to freeze my account.
This is fraud, plain and simple.

I paid them US5 for the initial use of the app to get photos of my interest. Supposed to be one off payment BUT NOT
I am in the process of disputing with Hypnopixels and PayPal on.this charge.

I originally downloaded the app for hairstyle previews, but I stayed because of all the other creative filters. There is much more variety than I expected, and the results often look surprisingly realistic.

I wanted to test it out, but did not opt in for subscription to be charged without notification.
Warning: this is no trial- this is a way to con people.

David was amazing at helping me resolve an issue with my subscription. It was my fault and they took care of it anyway. Very respectable company!

I put one as there was no space for zero. I went through all the blurb and came to payment. I did pay £7.99 as I had a hairdresser appointment tomorrow and I was curious. I got nothing for my £7.99 as they cut me off. They tried to get me to pay the new charge of £4.99. Just a rip off.

As a mom, I found the aging filter incredibly touching. I tried it on photos of my children and couldn't stop looking at the results. It makes you think about how quickly time passes. Beautifully done.

On Instagram Hypnopixels offered a free service. After supplying all the info required, including my email, they asked for payment. This is obviously a disreputable company and I will now definately have nothing more to do with them.

I personally like the variety of filters available. Every time I open the app, I find something new to try. It's not just hairstyles. There are so many creative options that you can easily spend an hour experimenting with different looks.

I don't dispute it's a fun app for trying different hairstyles and colors. However, the problem is with hidden subscription fees. There is no indication when one subscribes that it is a weekly recurring cost. When I saw my confirmation of subscription, it indicated "weekly". I cannot afford that, so I intended to cancel. Unfortunately, when I clicked the link to submit my reason for cancelling, I received an error message from the site. This happened with every pre-programmed reason for cancellation the link provided. I was not able to use the link to cancel. I will be writing to customer service immediately to prevent the weekly charge. Hidden charges are not fair to the consumer. Upfront pricing is honest, HypnoPixels!

One of my favorite things about Hypnopixels is editing family photos. My grandchildren love seeing themselves with funny hairstyles and filters. It's a simple but entertaining way to spend time together and create some laughs.

I accidentally ran into a technical issue and expected a long wait for help. Instead, customer support responded quickly and guided me through the solution step by step. Excellent experience.

After finding myself charged £8 to use the Hypno pixel app, I never used it and forgot about it. A notification on my computer three days ago, alerted me to the fact that I’d been charged £20 a week for the month since I looked at the app. This is something that I never knowingly agreed to.

The company was quick enough to cancel my subscription when requested, but I’ve had no reply to my request for a refund.

I've always wondered which hairstyle would suit me best, and this app helped a lot. Being able to try different styles based on face shape is a great idea. It gave me confidence before booking my next salon appointment.

Really fun app to play around with. My friends and I use it to test different hairstyles and funny photo filters.

Deceptive UX Patterns that
1. collect your email before offering any access or results, in a way that makes you think providing your email will unlock your photo results - but its not, its just data farming before they then ask for payment.
2. Creating a "75% discount" to trick people into thinking theyre getting a deal.
3. Manufacturing a 10-minute deadline to create time pressure for people to purchase.
4. No way to contact them without signing up.

I want my photos deleted and email deleted. AI shit just to make a quick buck. Probably make cancellation a hellish maze too.

I really enjoy the hairstyle filters. There are plenty of options to choose from, and the results help visualize how a new haircut might look. I would love to see even more styles added in the future, but overall it's a very useful feature.

The latest update noticeably improved the AI image generation quality and expanded the hairstyle library. Definitely worth trying.
