Home Report Scotland Arvostelua

Quick and efficient service and amended details dealt with promptly

Massive thank you to Niall and Lyndsey!

Great service from the get go - made the whole process seamless and made us feel at ease! Thanks Greg and Abby

The team made this process so quick and easy. Everyone I was in contact with was friendly, professional and prompt. Special thanks to Lyndsey Henderson for helping me arrange an appointment for my tenanted property whilst I am out the country. The system was very easy to use also. Will highly recommend to friends and family.

Excellent all the way. Efficient and communicative surveyor, open to all we could add to what he himself saw. Fast turnaround time even when we said there was no hurry. Final report that got the fingerprints of the house right. Valuation - ah, everyone's always that bit disappointed, but it was clearly more realistic than our own hopeful guess.

The Home Report is presented to an exceptionally high standard, offering a clear, comprehensive, and well-structured overview of the property. It provides detailed and accurate information across all sections, making it easy to understand the condition, value, and overall appeal of the home.

The Single Survey is thorough and professionally carried out, highlighting key features while also identifying any areas that may require attention in a balanced and transparent manner. The Energy Report is clearly explained, giving useful insight into the property’s efficiency and potential improvements. Additionally, the Property Questionnaire adds valuable context, offering practical information that supports informed decision-making.

Overall, the Home Report is informative, reliable, and user-friendly. It gives confidence to both buyers and sellers by ensuring all essential details are clearly communicated. I am fully satisfied with its contents and believe it accurately reflects the property.

From my initial enquiry to receiving the Home Report the service I received was prompt, very professional and excellent.

Very impressed by the clear communication and how quickly the survey was carried out. Also impressed with Garry the surveyor who carried out the survey. Very professional but made the experience straightforward and easy to understand. The survey was comprehensive not a 15 minute job and completed very quickly. Would recommend the company & service provided without any qualms.

All went as promised. Good comms by main office and by Brett the surveyor. Fuss free survey. Live online portal to track progress and access downloads was very efficient. Would recommend.

Always polite and informative.
Sueveyor very polite and knowledgeable.
Everything carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.

They say they will reply to me but they never did

On time good communication quick delivery of report

Home report done in the morning. Draft was available for approval late afternoon. Faster than expected.

Cheap but very negative home report. Our property was fully electrically rewired ten years ago but surveyor scored it a two despite all the evidence and recent condition reports saying it was good.

Cheapest quote I could find, easy to arrange survey and helpful team.

Very professional company, highly recommended.

HDG were very efficient and prepared the draft Home Report on the same day. I felt it was through and accurate, reflecting the condition of my property fairly and with a well informed market valuation.

Excellent service. Quick response after my enquiry and receiving my home report after the inspection. Friendly staff that I spoke to

Easy, straightforward from start of process to the end. Highly recommend.

Great friendly efficient and professional service.Robert was very personable and kept me informed and involved with what he was doing.

I am very disappointed with the service I received.
The main issue is that the valuation does not reflect important factors such as the size of my flat, its location within the building, and the full renovation I carried out. I invested around £12,000 upgrading the property, and it is now in excellent condition, but this was not properly reflected in the valuation.
I also provided clear information about differences between my flat and others used as comparisons — including condition, layout, and issues like dampness in other flats — but this was not meaningfully considered. It feels like the valuation relied too heavily on basic comparables without properly accounting for real differences between properties.
In addition, an important error in the report regarding the chimney and roof issue was not corrected, despite me explaining the actual cause and resolution of the problem.
Overall, I feel the process was rigid and lacked practical market understanding, especially when compared to the opinions of three local estate agents who all valued the property significantly higher.
For these reasons, I am not satisfied with the service provided.
