Hestan Culinary Arvostelua 

Purchased their £600 saute pan through Borough Kitchen. It has scratched my brand new induction hob like Ive never had happen in 14 years. (Note I had replaced the induction hob 6 months ago as the sides were lifting, the glass was still in good condition using Litalla saucepans).I do not recommend this make as if they are so scratchy, they should come with hob protectors as standard.No one can afford this sort of damage cooking.

Due to responses between Hestan and where I purchased them I have started a legal process for damage to my hob and to get a full refund for my pan. I would like to attach a photo of the induction hob damage but cannot work out how to do it.

High quality product that can double as a cooking tray and as a

I have a 3.5qt Hestan cue pot. I’ve had issues from day one, and their customer support has totally ignored my pleas for assistance. It’s been 5 months since my case was opened, and I’ve received zero response. I may like the pot, but their customer service is absolutely terrible.
I’ll buy buy AllClad next time.

THIS IS, WITHOUT QUESTION, THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Five months. FIVE MONTHS waiting for a refund that they already agreed to issue.

I have never experienced this level of disrespect, negligence, and complete disregard for a customer in my life.

They have ignored email after email after email. Yet the moment I filed a BBB complaint and disputed the charge, suddenly they knew how to respond — and they responded quickly. Apparently they can communicate perfectly well when they are required to defend themselves, just not when their customer needs an answer.

Even worse, during the dispute process they represented to my bank that they would issue the refund. Based on that, I expected this nightmare to finally be over.

IT WASN’T.

Five months later, I am STILL waiting for my money.

And the refund is only part of this horrific experience.

I am attaching the emails and PHOTOS OF THE BURNS I SUFFERED while using their pan and pot. They were informed about what happened. They had every opportunity to handle this situation responsibly and professionally.

Instead, I have been left chasing them for MONTHS.

The way I have been treated is absolutely appalling. I cannot understand how any company can receive a complaint involving a customer being BURNED while using its products, agree to a refund, communicate with the BBB and the customer’s bank — and then leave that same customer waiting for five months while repeatedly ignoring her.

I HAVE RECEIPTS FOR EVERYTHING.

The emails.
The photos.
The BBB complaint.
The dispute.
The communications regarding the promised refund.
Five months of me trying to get this resolved.

Everything is documented.

I have dealt with many companies in my life, and NOTHING comes close to how awful this experience has been.

If this is how they handle a customer after something goes seriously wrong with their cookware, people deserve to know.

I would NEVER, EVER purchase another product from this company.

Five months of waiting for money I was already told would be refunded is beyond unacceptable.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
THE WORST AFTER-PURCHASE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
AND, WITHOUT QUESTION, THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH.

I regret ever purchasing from them.

Fantastic product; speed and ease of service; speed of delivery.

They pump out attractive seeming discount codes that don’t work. When you email them the response takes too long and the code they give as an alternative still doesn’t work.

I gave up. Frustrating and seemingly badly run.

Bought with a 20% discount for 2 items. Good value.

Arrived quickly, excellent quality product

For quality and design Hestan get 10 out of 5 stars. Every little detail is just a joy. Their service is excellent and the packaging is on another level (it’s so flash I don’t want to like it because you throw it away - but I of course love it). They are eye wateringly expensive but fantastic.

Do the pans make me cook better - no
Do they give me better control when cooking - yes but only moderately
Do they cook better than other high end but cheaper pans - probably not noticeably
Do they cost a fortune - yes

So - why do I keep buying Hestan? Yes they cost more, yes they are better but not so much you really notice BUT everytime I use them they make me happy. In short they are another league special.

If you love cooking and enjoy having the very best things then I defy you to find better. I have pans from several brands and now only cook with Hestan (except for cast iron and carbon steel). Hestan pans make me smile every time I use them.

Finally (you can see I am a fan) note to Hestan if they ever read reviews; please add to your range. I would love a larger stock pot and a smaller saucier.

So if you can afford them don’t hesitate. They aren’t the Rolls Royce of pans - these are the Aston Martin DB4 zagato of pans.

Changed my mind about hestan now

Despite submitting a TrustPilot review and Hestan following up on that, (or all my prior service complaints via email), once again, no response.

I am not understanding why I am not getting even just a simple response. I would never recommend these products not only for the chipping I've experienced, but also because it is the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

I spoke with the concierge, who was lovely, but the main issue remains. Poor QC on products.

The quality of the pans and trays are outstanding. The service is next day and packaged really well. I'm really happy with my purchase except one large tray won't fit my oven, my fault, should have measured. Suspect as they are American fits larger ovens. That said would purchase more should the need arise.

Das Produkt mag gut sein, der Service jedoch nicht den Preis wert. Es werden Gutscheine per Mail versendet, die nicht mehr gültig sind. Anstatt sich zu entschuldigen, wird beim Kunden der Fehler gesucht. Nicht die feine Art für so ein Premium Produkt. Eigentlich unglaublich um war zu sein.

Am cumpărat aceasta tigaie de 2 săptămâni si pot spune ca este un produs calitativ, exact ca in descriere. Mâner ergonomic, nu se încălzește. Tigaia are pe interior prinderea la nivel cu suprafață, si poți sa o speli ușor. Am gătit ouă ochiuri si nu se prinde de ea daca o încălzești bine la inceput, apoi pui un fir de ulei, si poți prăji in ea fara sa se lipească. Trebuie doar sa te informezi cum sa o folosești. Merită toată investiția chiar daca pare scumpă. Se spala ușor. Dar punctul forte pentru care am ales aceasta tigaie este inoxul de calitate. Acum stiu ca mănânc sănătos, fara chimicalele din teflon sau alte substanțe. Sănătatea mea e pe primul loc.

La commande s'est perdue dans les méandres du livreur... qui dit l'avoir déposé dans un centre de dépôt qui nie l'avoir reçu.
Vous auriez dû choisir un professionnel de la logistique, je n'ai jamais eu de problème avec ups ou DHL par exemple.
Livraison enfin effectuée avec l'aide de Hestan que je remercie.
Je reviens aux produits qui eux sont magnifiques et j'ai hâte d'augmenter leur nombre par une nouvelle commande :)
