Tomo is a very streamlined mortgage company with an excellent real-time calculator that makes it easy to explore different mortgage scenarios, including various down payments and points. Their team was highly responsive and consistently offered the most competitive rates I could find. While the internal communication between the loan advisor and application advisor could have been smoother initially, they addressed my feedback quickly and went the extra mile to ensure my loan was approved in time for the closing. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend them to others.

Jack and the rest of the Tomo team gave us the best rates, closed on time, and were quick to answer any questions we had as first time homebuyers. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new mortgage!

Communication was poor. I was told that Tomo was a real mortgage company that would service my loan, but they ended up selling it. The loan officer didn’t appreciate that I was comparing offers from different lenders to get the best deal, he even mentioned that he answered my calls on weekends and late evenings, but other lenders did the same and were always patient.

The worst part is that although I locked my rate, they charged me more in points just a day before closing, with no communication or explanation. I decided to pay the extra cost to close on time, assuming it was an error that would be corrected later—but nothing was fixed.

I do not recommend this company

We were transferred from representative to representative because someone was either on vacation or otherwise unavailable. I get that, it happens. However they didnt keep any of our info and we had to send in some documents twice becuase we had 3 different agents throughout the loan acquiring process. Representatives weren't very prompt either

Every stage, from loan application to closing, was handled by knowledgeable and efficient staff. There were truly no extra fees. I highly recommend TOMO Mortgage.

Aaron, Stacey and Team were great to work with! The AI in the email exchanges wasn't exactly helpful at this stage, but maybe as it improves, it'll be more useful. All in all the team was great to work with!

EDIT: Just called again to ask to be removed from their list and they refused to confirm my removal and were sarcastic to me on the phone. This company is a joke.

I told this lender I was not interested in their services yet still receive robo calls multiple times a day about my application for months now. In the application they specifically stated they would not call my like this. This should be illegal.

I had a great experience with Tomo! My loan advisor, Jeff, was super attentive and really thorough throughout the whole process. As a first-time homebuyer, I had tons of questions, and he was always kind and patient in explaining everything. I did feel a bit of pressure from my agent and the seller to go with a local lender, but I’m really glad I stuck with Tomo. The whole process was smooth, communication was clear, and everything went as promised. I don’t regret choosing an online lender at all and would definitely recommend Tomo to anyone buying a home!

I saved a lot of fees versus the competition but the AI usage has a lot to be desired and sometimes it took various attempts to get someone live to respond. In the end, it still was worth it.

Connor was always available to answer my questions.
