After years on the internet and social media, I have successfully avoided all scams, phishing attempts and other unscrupulous efforts to take advantage of me. Unfortunately, in November 2024 I was drawn in by a message sent to my business Facebook page that appeared to be from Facebook informing me of an issue with my account. They said I needed to resolve this in “19 hours” (first red flag I ignored!) or they would disable my account. I was cautious initially when asked to give my Facebook password (second red flag I ignored) but several hours later, finally did because it truly appeared the message was from Facebook. I immediately changed my password but it was too late. My entire account went down within a minute and I was unable to log back in to anything: Facebook business page, personal profile, Messenger and unable to access several Facebook groups I created and am admin for. When I posted about this a few days later on LinkedIn and Instagram, it brought even more scammers on LinkedIn referring me to 800 numbers to fix my problem. Fortunately, a colleague on Instagram directed me to hacked.com which she said had been a big help to her when she experienced the same situation. I checked out their website and scheduled a 50-minute zoom meeting with them. Aaron Weaver worked with me to get a message to Meta about my hacked account. There is no way to contact Facebook if you are not actively on Facebook. Exactly one week from the date I had my original call, my Facebook account was back and unscathed! I had a 25-minute followup call with Aaron to make sure my account was safe and secure. I am so eternally grateful to Aaron and hacked.com for their outstanding service. When I was Hacked it was very scary. It all started with a FB add selling a car. Friends told me my picture with a selling add was on FB also on Messenger. Recovery of my Instagram account was easy with Aaron's help. I wasn't getting much support from Instagram and had been blocked out of my account.

He also checked my Facebook account when we finished recovering Instagram and now all is well in my world again.

My Facebook business page and ad account were hacked in August 2024. Meta were infuriating to deal with. I tried every different form/way to contact them but they kept saying I hadn’t been hacked (it was obvious I had been plus I had proof galore).

In October I got help from Aaron from Hacked.com. Aaron gave instructions to fill out an admin dispute which I had already tried but this time we did it using his template which he helped me fill out. Aaron gave helpful tips on what Meta likes and doesn’t like (certain wording etc). He responded to emails in a timely manner and didn’t give up. I couldn’t always get a Zoom appointment time with Aaron due to the time difference of being in different countries but email correspondence was fine in my situation.

I have to give an honest review to help people who are in my same situation. My Instagram was hacked and I got an email that my Instagram email was changed without my consent. I paid $40 for a 15 min meeting with hacked.com (which I thought was a ridiculously high price) and heard all the hacked.com options. I learned that I would have to pay $500 for a guarantee of recovering my Instagram. I was not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for this. I read some reviews and learned about Meta Verified was something Hacked.com recommends in the packages, so I tried it. I paid $1.70 for the first month of Meta Verified and they were able to get my Instagram recovered for me in 2 days. I was so impressed!
My advice: try Meta Verified first.

I paid Hacked.com to help me recover my Facebook account that was hacked, my password changed and then my account was disabled by Facebook. Jess helped me in the steps to recover my account and yesterday I got it back, which was a huge relief. Just to set expectations of what the company do, they only tell you the steps to go through yourself, they don't have any way to gain access to your account on your behalf. Ofcourse the first step was to contact Meta support, which I had already done and knew didn't work. The next step is to contact your local MP, which is what worked for me and having read lots of reviews already, seemed to be the option that worked for many others. My local MP was so very helpful and passed my issue onto the Meta team who works for the government. So for anyone thinking to pay for Hacked.com services I would definitely try contacting your local MP FIRST to save you some money. I don't know what the next steps would have been after that if it didn't work so can't comment further about the company.

Scam, you stole my money.

So when my unused Insta account was hacked, Facebook suspended my linked Facebook account. I was devastated because I could not recover my Insta account to undo it. 15 year old account and they thought I would willingly violate terms... whatever. I paid for this service and hoped it would work. I met with Christian and after unsuccessful attempts to recover my Instagram he shot me some other ideas. 2 long weeks later..... One ended up working. I am forever thankful for not only his help, but his wisdom with the tips and tricks I am taking out of this whole experience to prevent this in the future. Can you imagine a 67 years old Swiss lady, which has not especially familarity with English language and computer technology going through the recovery process of Facebook…. A real NIGHTMARE !

I am here to share my experience over the last four weeks of fighting with the hacked Facebook account of my husband. The hacker changed email address, password and removed the phone number.

If for some the steps recommended by FB may work, for others it doesn’t.
I tried all the help links in the help center and again, stuck in the same endless loop that got me nowhere.

After searching all other avenues on the WEB and in forums, i finally came across Hacked.com. Of course, I was very skeptical, but the positive reviews gave me confidence to contact them, and today i am so glad I did !

Hi, I just want to give a completely honest review in hopes I can save sone of you time and money. I used hacked.com when my Instagram account got hacked and all recovery attempts failed. I want you guys to know this is NOT a hacking company but rather a company who can give you knowledge on how to get your account back. Meta actually are the ones who gave my account back. All hacked.com did was tell me to buy 15$ subscription from meta verified on Facebook and BOOM. I was able to contact support. I paid hacked.com 359$ for something that could have been done for 15$ and no they will not give you a partial refund even though it took him under an hour to help me. I recommend buying the 99$ meeting to save you money. But only do this if you absolutely do not know how to use computers. You really can do this yourself and I'm thinking of making a YouTube video about it and detailing my experience in full. The guy who helped me was super nice and they are quick with responses. You can actually trust this company. It's not a scam. I'm giving 1 star because I really think I deserve a partial refund and I think none will read my review unless it's 1 star or 5 star. In reality I would give them 3 stars. Thank you

Greg and his team were absolutely incredible in helping me out of a really serious hacking situation over the summer. I was in a panic because not only were my personal social media accounts hacked, but my business accounts as well. Since a lot of my customers come from social media, it felt like I was losing access to my livelihood.

My rating is because the company does not deliver what they say they deliver. They advertise “we recover disabled Facebook accounts”. They do not. My account was somehow entered by a hacker who first used my credit card on file with Meta to buy extended reach advertising for an item I was selling on FB Marketplace. They racked up a series of $30 charges for FB Marketplace advertising quickly. My credit card company called me to determine whether the charges were legitimate. This is was my first notice something was wrong. The card was cut off from new charges. I tried to log in to FB and my account was disabled. FB has help pages for disabled accounts leading to a dead end. There is no phone number or email address for this. I paid $359 to Hacked that also led to a dead end. I was told there was only one avenue to pursue for this: contact my congressional representative and plead for intervention. He helped write requests to four representatives (only one of which was appropriate for my district). After 3 weeks I have 2 declinations to intervene due to wrong district. My true representative will not intervene. Hacked should stop advertising “we recover disabled Facebook accounts”. I initially gave the rep a good review because I was hopeful for success. I then realized I was being taking advantage of. He should have terminated the 60 call immediately by saying he couldn’t help and given me a refund.

Aaron was very kind and professional. Having my personal Facebook page hacked and deactivated was very stressful. Aaron walked me through the steps needed. He also told me upfront that it would take several weeks. In less than two weeks, I am back up and in touch with family and friends. Thank you!

My FB personal account got hacked and I think was a particularly tough case. It took a month and several zoom calls. I had given up but then the Attorney General's office for MN contacted FB and that is what got the ball rolling. It was Aaron who helped me file a complaint with them.
