Gone with this company as very competitive, Until you call them out, then you pay an access, which you have to pay at every call out, so not one time payment. So cheaper to go one payment covers all. Agree extremely frustrating, as once registered breakdown I then had two calls one from emergency assist explaining the breakdown will be with you in the next hour , then then The actual breakdown company called so another 3rd party saying not for the next 3 hours. They were both calling at the same time and I mentioned to the emergency assist lady, but she did not seem to acknowledge this. So Right hand left hand, in my case. Update still waiting at 4pm , told by emergency assist they will be at 5 4.30pm then A extremely rude man from Westbourne recovery Haywards health called said I have been called re update no definitely not then txt message definitely not. Now told 6.30pm. Awful dont join

Cover that will leave you stranded, and dealing with rude claim handlers
GoVivid sell breakdown cover and outsource claims handling to a company called Emergency Assist Ltd. This review concerns both the policy and how my claim was handled in June 2026.
First, the policy wording. GoVivid's small print contains an exclusion for claims arising from the vehicle's lights, radio, chargers or any third party electronic devices being left on. That clause is worth knowing about before you buy. Whether it would affect you depends on your circumstances, but it is there and worth considering before making a purchase.
Second, the exclusion was misapplied in my case. My wife broke down with a flat battery while running the car's built-in ventilation fan in 27C heat. A flat battery is a named covered event. A built-in fan is not a light, a radio, a charger or a third party device, and it was not left on - it was in active use because it was 27C outside. Emergency Assist declined to assist anyway.
Third, when I called to discuss this, a call handler told me the exclusion covered "anything that draws power" - wording that does not appear in the policy - and then hung up when I challenged it and told them it wasn't acceptable to make up new policy wording on the fly. I was hanged up on more than once, no one could tell me when a supervisor would call, and they told me the supervisor had "stepped out" (this is supposed to be a 24/7 emergency service!). Emergency Assist's supervisor later refused to discuss the actual policy wording, telling my wife its meaning was not relevant.
Fourth, GoVivid's own Terms of Business states a commitment to identifying and supporting vulnerable customers. My wife was stranded with our children for over two and a half hours in 27C heat with no water, food or sun cream. At no point did they ask about the situation to ascertain whether they were vulnerable customers in a vulnerable situation.
A formal complaint has been raised. I am returning to my previous breakdown provider.

First time taking out Motorcycle…
First time taking out Motorcycle breakdown insurance so not much to compare it to however the cost compared to some of the other names suggested was by far a winner. Hopefully i shall never need to use it being a fairweather rider but if it is as good as it is described i shall be happy as Larry.
