First impression - 5 stars! Sean has been excellent to work with and has made planning an incredible trip to Scotland such a delight. I usually plan our trips myself, but for our first time visiting the country, I wanted to work with an expert so that we don’t miss anything & this experience has made it worth it so far. Sean has been attentive, took our “wants” seriously and drafted the perfect itinerary, without being pushy. My family is looking forward to our upcoming trip!

Euan was very helpful and knowledgeable. He has provided many options for our trip and we look forward to implementing the plan.

Just booked a trip to Scotland for summer 2027. Euan provided a concise day by day itinerary in a video that gave me a complete picture of our vacation. He showed great patience with my constant questions and replied quickly. He has gone to great extremes to meet my needs and his attitude, despite my constant nagging, made me feel very comfortable.

When we started planning our dream vacation in Scotland, Go Scottish Tours was the first place I looked and they hooked me from the begining. My Travel Specialist Oisin has been fantastic with helping select the best locations, accommodations, transportation, and is quick and open to any alterations. It has truly been a smooth process getting this planned. He literally said "You just have to get yourself here and we got the rest" which when you have travel anxiety is an amazing thing to hear. We have officially locked in to travel and I can not wait for the Magic of Scotland. Thank you so much Oisin for making this a great experience.

Working with Roman has made planning this trip a lot less stressful. From the start, he responded quickly to my initial inquiry. I gave him a list of what sights we were interested in and overall trip goals, and he quickly built an itinerary that included everything. He included a map with a voice over that explained the trip very thoroughly. Throughout the process, Roman has been incredibly flexible, patient, and genuinely dedicated to tailoring the experience to our interests. His communication is consistent; he answered all of our questions and followed up after every update. Even when he went on vacation, a member of his team, Euan, stepped in to keep the process in motion, which we deeply appreciated. I highly recommend this company to friends and family. Just booked a trip to Scotland for 2027, worked with Oisin, he has been amazing, coming from the United States, we have been worried about scams ect. He has gone above and beyond for us, has made us feel so comfortable. He has been very patient with all the questions. I'm already recommending him to others in my family that are looking to travel.

Oisin is the best to work with. He has helped us decide on tours and even an add on. Very polite and understanding and patient. Had to get my husband and I and my sister on a call so we could set everything up. He made sure to let us know he would answer any questions and would be our main contact till our tour ends.

Euan was extremely helpful in presenting options for a potential tour. He really put a lot of effort into presenting our potential tour. The presentation was thorough and well presented. This was clearly a result of his extensive knowledge regarding the locations and attractions. He is such a pleasant individual to work with. We really appreciated his assistance.

Grossly overpriced. Unorganized. Lack of follow up / communication. They charge $600 pounds / day and book you $200 pound / day hotels. Add a rental vehicle at $200 and a few excursion. Do the math. Then booking dates / itinerary are incorrect. Try contacting them after the sale...nothing...very disappointed.

Wonderful process! Garreth is very knowledgable and helpful. He has taken on a daunting task of visiting a foreign country into an easy and enjoyable experience. It's been great working with Sean at Goscottish so far. We love the visual PDF that accompanies the itinerary suggestions. It's a huge help when deciding what to see and what to skip. I don't know of another tour company that offers that. I highly recommend!

Staff gave us US / Canada 1-800 contact numbers for emergency use that do not work in Europe from a US cell phone. Schedule plane arrival in Glasgow was provided in a timely manner to GOSCOTTISHTOURS, but the landing time was after the rental car agency closed for the day. The rental car agency did not have our contact information because it was not provided by GOSCOTTISHTOURS. We finally made contact with GOSCOTTISHTOURS from the airport, but could only leave a message. Turns out our tour guide Tommy Gunn no longer worked for the company.
I could go on and on. I am still waiting for a response regarding billing for the first night since we had to stay in Glasgow on our own dime until the rental car agency opened the next day. Dealing with a gentleman named Roman has been difficult at best. No response is common.

We are planning a trip to Scotland and Ireland next year and Sharon has been assisting us. She is very responsive and has provided lots of things to do and unique aspects on the country. Highly recommend using Sharon and Go Scottish Tours for your next trip. They go the extra mile and listen to your interests to get you the best trip possible.

I have not yet left for my tour, but I have found that communication is horrendous. I have tried several times to reach Kate about errors and omissions on my itinerary and have not reached her or received a response. When I've called their 800 number, it usually hangs up on me. Their phone voice mail is filled and won't/can't receive messages. When I finally reached a live person, I was told that someone will return my call, but no one ever does. Emails are not acknowledged or responded to. I called DG Ventures, the parent company, and was told Kate would reply, but that never happened. This has been the most frustrating tour experience I have ever had, and I haven't even left yet. Fingers crossed that the trip goes better than the pre-trip experience. I contacted another former goscottishtours.com customer who had the same experience with them.
