We reached out looking for a tour package for a self drive trip around Scotland. We connected with Garreth and have had nothing but a positive experience planning the trip. For nearly 40 years my wife and I have been talking about making a trip to Scotland, and Kate was quite instrumental in making this finally come to pass. We had an absolutely amazing experience exploring Scotland with Go Scottish Tours! The scenery was breathtaking, from the stunning Highlands and beautiful lochs to the charming villages and historic castles. Everything was well organized, and the tour made it easy to enjoy the beauty, history, and culture of Scotland.

A huge thank-you to the Go Scottish Tours team for making our trip so special. Their professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail made the entire experience memorable and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to discover Scotland!

Scotland and London for the Arsenal!

We worked with an agent for the first few months we started planning our vacation to both Ireland and then Scotland. He was nice enough but ended up not listening to our specific and reasonable requests (which we literally stressed to them how important it was … like three times). We also had issues with payment dates not matching up with what we owed and when we owed it, so that was confusing and a hiccup that needs to be fixed. It was a little over halfway through our planning process that our agent was “no longer available” to finish helping us finalize our dream vacation.

I am assuming they had to scramble to get ours covered but we had complications and things that fell through the crack like upgrading our car to fit our family BEFORE going over there and ensuring we had family rooms booked throughout our entire trip. We have three people over 6’1” and me at 5’9” with luggage to fit our statures. When we got there we had to go through the trouble and time of upgrading our car to the tune of $1000 pus and additional charge incurred because they had us dropping the rental back off at the Dublin airport when they knew we were taking it to Belfast … unfortunately, Belfast is in a different country so we were charged an additional few hundred dollars or so (they paid us back once they were aware of the problem). During this process, we would have missed our Guiness factory tour had I not noticed that they had it scheduled at 10 a.m. when our flight didn’t even get in until 8:30 a.m. that same morning. It was little things like that the made us miss tours that we had to rebook due to poor planning with logistics on their part.

The places we went were pretty awesome and where they placed us hotel wise were all pretty good locations and the hotels actually let us check in a few hours earlier. That was a big bonus.

There was a major hiccup with Go Scottish Tours not receiving my emails or being able to get us our finalized itinerary and vouchers in a timely manner or I wouldn’t have had to call internationally and get charged $50 for it in order to change it and a couple of our other tour times or we would have missed them. I made an attempt to contact Go Scottish Tours while we were on vacation that first day but never heard anything back from them, so I just assumed they were done once they had their money. Fortunately, once I wrote a review someone from the company contacted me and ensured we received all of the money that we ended up spending on the cars and additional charges incurred on vacation. That was a lovely gesture, & one that we are grateful for. It was not all bad, but the little things just kind of added up.

Again, the places they suggested we go and secured tickets for were great and we made some great memories. We are thankful to Go Scottish Tours for that.

Started this nightmare December 2025. Spoke at length with initial contact named Tommy about physical limitations and requested assistance in getting transport,explained that getting off a plane with no guidance was a deal breaker, assured that would not be the case. Spoiler alert, that was exactly the case. The tour sold was not accessible with mobility issues. The tour guide was actually a third party hire who had zero information from this entity. After literal months of unanswered emails and phone calls, a new contact Kate e mailed that Tommy had been promoted and the planned trip had "fallen through the cracks" there was no indication of just how far down it had fallen until arrival. The trip was a nightmare, and someone called Roman responded to initial concerns with a screed detailing what missteps on the traveler's part led to this ruined nightmare, with a flaccid, insincere "apology" just before the blame game away from any mismanagement on the agency's part. Just a unprofessional and insulting response. I am happy so many had the experience they were promised and paid for, makes this situation harder to bear, apparently this entity is capable of delivering on the advertised experience. That was not the case.

We began working with Roman and he helped through the entire holiday planning and booking for our family of 10. Always pleasant and knowledgeable and flexible. Once we paid for our trip, we received vouchers for each hotel and ticketed activity. We really liked the variety of accommodations....hotels, lodges, apartments. Our van driver Tom was the best! Easy going, pleasant and so very accommodating! I'd recommend GoScottishTours and will use them again!

Sean is fantastic, recommend, excellent service, above and beyond to arrange our trip to Scotland. At first contact he asked my husband & I what we wanted to do, then sent a potential itinerary, followed by 16 minute video of highlights for our trip. We're travelling with two friends and had consultations with them, then back to Sean with changes and confirmations. Process took about four weeks with lots of changes and waiting on word back from the friends who had limited availability for discussions, and could only be contacted sporadically via email. Not to dwell on this but it was complicated! Sean was incredibly patient, available at all times, and since we're in Canada with a 7 hour time zone change, that was a bit of a trick. We've got our trip booked for late next spring and this includes Cairngorms and Isle of Skye, those will be a highlight. Trip of a lifetime we hope and plan! Oisin was amazing in his attention to detail in putting together our itinerary and making sure that we were happy with everything in setting up our trip to Scotland, would definitely recommend this company and specifically Oisin.

I am very appreciative of the knowledge, wisdom, and transparency of Euan at Go Scottish Tours. Friends and I had been wrestling with planning a trip to Scotland for next year, and have written and rewritten multiple itineraries - going with a tour group, planning our own tour using public transport, etc. Finally, we began looking into a private tour and I contacted a number of businesses. Some were outrageous in costs, others were difficult to keep in contact, and others just pulled together the “tried and true” tourist highlights.

Euan, however, was the best listener of them all. He listened to understand the itinerary that we wanted, rather than to hurry a booking, and drew up a plan for us consider. He explained the benefits of their company clearly, and we seriously looked to them as an option.

As seniors on a fixed budget, however, the costs were still steep for us, and we have chosen to do a more minimal tour on our own.

Euan went beyond our expectations in serving our needs, and it was difficult to say “no” … he is a brilliant and knowledgeable young man who hears “beyond” the words to the heart of those he serves.

Go Scottish tours crafted an itinerary after talking to me by phone. The trip was memorable one with insights into its History, Geography, music and the many notable Scots like Adam Smith, John Knox, Walter Scott, Burns among many others. Our vacation included a 2 night3 day tour to the Isle of Skye which was breathtaking in its scenery. All the trips were seamless and smooth making it easy for us. Thanks to Go Scottish Tours for a vacation to remember.

I began planning a trip to Scotland, hunting for the right tour, trying to maximize our time abroad and see as much as possible. USA tours did not have what we wanted; most Scottish tours did not have every location we hoped to see. In my hunt, I found GoScotishTours, investigated, then contacted the company through the website. Tommy Gunn called, and we discussed possibilities. He explored ideas with us and created a plan: Private chauffeur seemed the best option for our dream. Pricey, but he sold us. We would see what we wanted, have an experience of a lifetime, and learn all we could about Scotland, its history, and its culture. We had a sneak peak at how warm and welcoming the Scots are when working with Tommy.
Along the way, we were handed over to Kate. We had every question answered, every detail ironed out. I am certain I drove her a bit crazy, but her patience and efficiency were exactly what we needed to travel with as little stress possible.
We made the trip successfully. To say it was, indeed, a trip of a lifetime is more than accurate. NOT ONE ISSUE AROSE in our travels. Our driver was exceptional. He was very accommodating, generous of his time and knowledge of Scotland; he maximized every mile between locations we had highlighted. We saw and experienced everything in our path! The hotels were well placed for our day trips; all were clean, safe, and comfortable. We ate at most hotels at least once and found the dining accommodations very nice. Every single day was a gift, knowing Go Scottish Tours had planned and cleared the way for us. First time tourists with any new company is risky, but we found not one aspect of our travel wanting. That is rare-- and commendable. We hold them in high regard, and recommend this company to anyone and everyone hoping to experience Scotland as an absolute wonder.

We are just back from a wonderful trip to Scotland. We loved our guide who was very knowledgeable about Scottish history and culture. The bus was comfortable and our driver was great at navigating the narrow roads. The hotels we stayed in exceeded our expectations and the entertainment was top notch. Our travel coordinator Euan was very helpful and successful ensuring we had the best trip possible.
