Worst experience ever for my expat insurance in China. Avoid at all costs. Unlike many other insurance companies no direct billing available with major clinics. First you have to pay your Foyer insurance premiums, next you have to pay for the invoices from clinics. When you submit your Invoice for reimbursment you receive an automatic reply that your claim will be processed as soon as possible. Weeks are passing, no reply and no chance to have any update on the progress. Same automated reply from claims email. WhatsApp clerk would read your messages and just ignore them. Wish I could read all the reviews before appling for Foyer's insurance.

Foyer Global Health ist seit Jahren die Krankenversicherung unseres Vertrauens. Abrechnungen erfolgen zeitnah, Rückfragen werden ebenfalls zeitnah und positiv beantwortet.

Das positive Vorweg: es wird fast alles erstattet...
Negativ: Teuer! Und es dauert echt lange, bis man seine Erstattungen bekommt. Zudem wurde uns bei der Anmeldung meines Mannes nicht mitgeteilt, dass eine Gicht (nicht chronisch, sein letzter Anfall lag Jahre zurück) nicht mit übernommen werden wird und wir blieben auf den teuren Kosten sitzen. Daher haben wir nun gekündigt und für ein Jahr eine günstigere Versicherung gewählt.
Da sie aber sowohl im Ausland als auch in Deutschland generell auch langfristig behandeln, werden wir wohl wiederkommen, da wir uns beruflich auch immer mal in Deutschland aufhalten und uns, falls (Gitt bewahre) mal was schlimmes passieren sollte, natürlich auch in nähe von Angehörigen behandeln lassen möchten.

Eine Versicherung, die im 21. Jahrhundert angekommen ist und unkompliziert und schnell alle Sachverhalte klärt.

Ich bin seit März diesen Jahres bei Foyer Global Health.

Hatte Mitte Mai den ersten claim via email eingereicht, danach weitere auf der Homepage im Portal. Habe dann per Email + WhatsApp darauf hingewiesen. Wurde mehrmals vertröstet, auch telefonisch. Klang plausible dass die IT momentan nicht funktioniert und es etwas länger dauert. Alles ok soweit, hatte mich dann wieder gemeldet und keine Antwort mehr bekommen. Dann nochmal geschrieben und gesagt es wird dann dem Anwalt weiter gegeben.

Daraufhin keine Antwort. Gebe hiermit 7 Tage Zeit die claims zu überweisen, sollte dann nichts da sein werde ich alles dem Anwalt weitergeben. Ist alles schwarz auf weiß im Chat und habe alle Emails.

Kann jedem davon nur abraten das schlimme ist nicht das verlorene Geld sondern die verlorene Zeit die ich mit diesem Unternehmen verschwenden muss.

Werde hier weiter berichten sollte sich doch noch was tun.

Edit 1: Im Kundenportal wurde es schon als erstattet markiert aber das Geld ist noch nicht überwiesen.

Es scheint mir als ob es in Wahrheit wirklich ein organisatorisches Problem ist und nicht böswillig, allerdings frage ich mich wie das so funktionieren wird in Zukunft?
Werde weiter berichten wann/ ob das Geld ankommt.

Edit 2:

Die Rückerstattung kam dann tatsächlich an. Wo es anfangs so aussah als würde sich nicht gekümmert, war wohl sehr viel los im Hintergrund was zu Verzögerungen führte. Am Ende ging alles gut aus, gebe hier nun 4 Sterne. Werde diesen thread weiter aktualisieren in der Zukunft. Danke an das Foyer Team!

A fabulous and reliable health insurance. I have been very happy with the claim handling and communication. Customers can choose different insurance categories according to their needs. I have been able to see consultants in various countries as I have two residences and occasionally live in the Uk but sometimes see doctors in Germany or France. Foyer allows this flexibility.

Foyer Global Health Insurance upon on your reply it shows you haven't read my feedback, as well, your reply seems to be standard. Until now, I have not heard nor got an email from your company.

Won't recommend Mayfair - Le Foyer insurance! Stay away and go with Alliance or Bupa!

Their customer support is a nightmare, same with their policy not clear what isn't covered. The policy terms have only been sent after I asked for it, as well, it's full of loop holes in their interest.

Caution: The detailed terms aren't send mentadory in the first contact nor when you get the customer contract.

They ask you: to pay upfront, upload the invoice with the diagnosis.

My first claim: Had an issue with suddenly skin rashes and migraines.
