This is the worst insurance company you could ever find in the globe. AVOID to hire any of their plans, they will simply not provide any response at all and the will not process any claim, they will play the delay strategy while teasing your mental health.Dealing with a claim since OCTOBER and they have not paid any of the bills.

Assurance qui a mis du temps à se mettre en place, j'aurais dû me méfier et ne jamais y souscrire, car depuis rien ne se passe comme cela devrait. L'accès à l'espace personnel en ligne a fonctionné une fois, au début, depuis, le mot de passe n'est pas reconnu, à chaque fois que j'en demande un autre, il m'est bien envoyé, mais le site ne le prend pas en compte... Pas une, pas deux fois, mais tout le temps ! Votre espace en ligne est instable, faites quelque chose !
La communication est chaotique, les réponses sont à l'ouest ! On me dit que ma banque a refusé les prélèvements, c'est faux. Je change de banque, on m'envoie le mauvais formulaire...
Je n'ai jamais eu affaire à autant d'incompétence... Je suis encore sidérée... Je n'arrive pas à croire qu'y ne e assurance luxembourgeoise soit gérée d'une manière si archaïque...
J'attends de pouvoir accéder à mon espace en ligne et j'ai hâte de résilier ce contrat, une véritable honte!
D'ailleurs, si Foyer lit ce message, merci de rétablir ma connexion à mon espace personnel !

Always excellent and quick service.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Every time I am in Germany, I end up paying for doctor visits myself because the insurance company, Foyer, always finds an excuse to decline reimbursement due to "insufficient paperwork." The doctors in Germany are very busy, which I understand, and they do provide all the necessary documents. However, Foyer continually demands more paperwork, making the process incredibly frustrating.

Despite the high monthly premiums I pay, Foyer's handling of claims is inefficient and never seems to be enough. It’s not the doctors' fault—they do their part—but Foyer’s constant requests for additional documentation make it impossible to get reimbursed in a timely manner. I am extremely disappointed and expect a much better service.
I am always scared to go to the doctor when I am in Germany because I know I will end up paying myself for it !!
Thank you Foyer for making me cry multiple times !!!

The company are quick to reimburse, have clear guidelines and easy to work with.

Do not reply to inquiries at all. I tried email and WhatsApp. NO REPLY.

I believe the negative reviews of poor claims handling and support. Companies who don’t even reply to potential new customers most definitely neglect their current ones.

The reimbursement process is easy and Foyer response is fast.

I raised already an issue before that they needed 3 weeks and 7 emails as well as a post on here before they approved an urgent PETCT due to high cancer markers. A day after my post here suddenly they come back and apologized and promised to improve services. Now i experience the same delay and non respond mindest with my claims that are outstanding since more than 5 weeks now and where i also send them already several explanations.....they just do not even bother to answer. All the declines they do are generic - they do not look properly at the past history where the same doctor was consulted for the same issue and clearly put in the meno that a follow-up in 3 weeks is needed.....it is a very unsatisfactory experience and the issue ones you are with them you are kind of stuck as changing private health insurance is always a bit difficult.

I try to be patient when dealing with anything insurance related, I feel that comes with the territory. But having simple claims submitted in August, and now into November these are still marked "Pending". Their excuse since August has been waiting for bank information to be provided, which was provided shortly after it was asked for - and yet still has not been processed. As for any claims since I don't hold my breath these will be sorted anytime soon. Foyer have also seemingly removed claims from the submission record without informing me or rejecting them (not sure what that is about). More infuriating, is the fact that NOT a single phone number for Foyer has worked today, with every single line saying "This number does not exist". Don't think I need to explain the level of anxiety that triggers. Absolutely fuming and in half a mind to file a formal complaint with the regulator.

I’ve been paying an outrageous amount per year in premiums for my family - yet Foyer challenges most expenses. They question so much that I began to wonder if, in the event of a serious injury or illness, they’d actually cover us or just dig through our medical history to find a way to deny the claim. Their refusal to provide proper coverage is infuriating, and their customer service is consistently unhelpful.
I’m canceling my policy because I’m completely fed up. If you're an expat in the US, avoid Foyer. Stick with more reputable insurance companies. Not only is Foyer virtually unknown over here, but the people I dealt with clearly don’t understand how things work in the US. They request documents that simply aren’t available from some healthcare providers and refuse to acknowledge that things might be different.
I believe even the worst local health insurance would offer better coverage. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Im Großen und Ganzen eine vernünftige Auslandsversicherung. Die Summe vieler Behandlungsbeträge ist leider immer noch nicht der Inflation angepasst worden, das heißt, dass bei vielen Behandlungen die Übernahmebeträge nicht mehr genügen und man aus eigener Tasche drauf zahlt. Die Bearbeitungszeiten sind passabel. Die Abwicklung ist in Ordnung. Ich würde die Versicherung aktuell noch im Bekanntenkreis empfehlen.

Bisher nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht, effiziente Abwicklung der Erstattungen per Email, schnelle Überweisung auf mein Konto.

They are highly efficient in reviewing, responding to, and reimbursing claims. I have no complaints about their service and would wholeheartedly recommend them.
