Giveme Cosmetics have good deals but when they add postage it’s not so competitive.
The worst thing of all is that delivery takes forever.
I ordered 10 days ago and my item is still not here .
I can fly to Italy and back in a day so it doesn’t make sense .
If I have to wait this long again then I’ll pick a similar product up from my local retail park

Ordered from them as a gift saw 3-5 working days delivery believed that to be acceptable its now over that mark and being told its 3-5 days from when THEY dispatch it not from when I order and because they are busy they can not advise when that will be. Poor service
Made an order on the 12th, still "being prepped". There is no alert to state delivery will take longer because it hasn't been fulfilled. Trying to cancel but it keeps opening the wrong app (strangely enough the O2 app) when I try to manage my order. The delay has nothing to do with courier times like it mentions on your terms, it's your incapability of fulfilling warehouse orders. And to have the audacity to wait 2 weeks for report a delay is disgusting. I want a refund.

If you cannot handle keep up with the fulfillment then do not offer services which put you in that situation. Poor company etiquette.

It’s how a company behaves when something goes wrong that matters
I rarely leave reviews like this, but my experience with Give Me Cosmetics when something went wrong with my order has been incredibly disappointing.
I placed a substantial order containing several items specifically purchased as Christmas presents. Unfortunately, a product leaked/burst during transit and the contents spread throughout the parcel, affecting other products and their presentation/gift packaging.
Things get damaged in transit. That alone would never have prompted me to leave a 1-star review. It is the way this has been handled afterwards that has.
I contacted Give Me Cosmetics, supplied photographic evidence and initially accepted their offer of replacements. However, when I asked the simple question of exactly what they intended to replace, I struggled to obtain a clear answer.
Their subsequent public response to my Trustpilot review has now clarified their position: because the other products remain in “perfect working condition” and are designed for use in bathrooms, they believe they can simply be “wiped and cleaned down”.
But this completely misses the point.
These weren’t simply toiletries purchased for my own bathroom. They were purchased NEW, specifically as Christmas gifts, and several came in paper/cardboard presentation packaging which forms part of the gift.
That packaging has had leaked product soak into it and has become wet/soggy. How exactly am I supposed to wipe down soggy cardboard and restore it to the new, clean and presentable condition in which it should have arrived?
I don’t believe a customer purchasing new gift sets should be expected to clean leaked product from the items and reconstruct the gifts using replacement packaging because another product leaked throughout the parcel.
I also want to clarify something Give Me Cosmetics focused heavily on in its response: I did not claim that I had been told I would have to pay their £4.99 change-of-mind return fee.
My criticism was that after repeatedly trying to resolve a damaged delivery, I received what appeared to be a generic returns response containing information about change-of-mind returns and potential handling charges rather than a straightforward answer to the issue I was actually raising.
I have now made my position extremely simple. I no longer want replacements. I have asked to return the ENTIRE ORDER for a FULL REFUND because of the condition in which it arrived.
Most frustratingly, at the time Give Me Cosmetics posted its lengthy public response to this review, I was still awaiting a direct response from customer services to that request.So the company has found the time to publicly defend its position on Trustpilot, yet my actual request to return the complete order for a refund remains unresolved.
Products can leak and parcels can be damaged. I understand that! What matters is how a company looks after its customer when something goes wrong.
What should have been a straightforward customer-service issue has resulted in repeated emails, generic responses, unnecessary confusion and an extraordinary suggestion that products and soggy cardboard gift packaging contaminated by a leak can simply be “wiped and cleaned down”.Sadly, the company’s response to my review has reinforced rather than resolved the concerns that prompted me to leave it.

We’d just like to clarify a few points regarding the resolution offered. While the leaking product was damaged during transit, the other items affected by the spill were not damaged or defective. As our products are designed specifically for use in bathrooms, they can be safely wiped and cleaned down, so unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to replace products that remain in perfect working condition but have had some product spilled onto the outside.
We did offer to replace the damaged item and the gift boxes that had been affected by the leak. You then advised that you weren’t happy with this resolution, as you wanted all of the products replaced. At this point, we suggested the alternative option of returning the products for a refund.
We’d also like to clarify the £4.99 return fee, as we appreciate this may have caused some confusion. The return email sent to you specifically states:
**“If your return is due to a fault/damage or receiving an incorrect item, you’ll be prompted to upload a few photos so our team can review everything.”**
It then separately explains:
**“For change-of-mind returns, there’s a small return shipping fee of approximately £4.99.”**
The £4.99 fee therefore applies to change-of-mind returns and not to returns relating to genuine faults or damage. We have also reviewed the correspondence and cannot see anywhere that you were advised that you would need to pay this fee to return your damaged order.
We’d also kindly ask customers to allow our Customer Service team some time to respond to emails. We’re currently experiencing an extremely busy period, and our stated response time is up to 72 hours. Our team is working through all enquiries as quickly as possible, so we really do appreciate your patience while we respond.
We always aim to resolve issues as fairly as possible, and we hope this helps to clarify the information and options that were provided.

In relation to the cancellation email, the wording stating that the payment had "not yet been refunded" is part of the automated Shopify cancellation notification. When an order is cancelled, Shopify can send the cancellation confirmation before the separate refund transaction has been processed, which is why this wording can appear on the email. It does not mean that the refund will not be issued.
Your refund has now been processed, and the funds will be returned to your original payment method in line with your payment provider's processing times.

Me, my mum, my 2 sisters, my step mum and 3 friends all order from here, they very rarely get it right.
We all have missing items or pay for 24hr next day delivery and it arrives 4-5 days later, it’s ridiculous.
I ordered a duo (shampoo and conditioner), only received shampoo, my mum ordered a set which included dry shampoo (twice) and the dry shampoo nozzle broke and stopped working both times, two times she ordered a few things and had things missing, the reasoning when she contacted give me cosmetics was ‘the item was out of stock’, but there was no correspondence to discuss this issue, she’s also been spoken to dreadfully by customer service.
When I contacted today regarding my issues, I attached screen shots of my order, order number, photos of the only product i received to show the conditioner missing and stating I paid £4.99 for next day delivery and only received today (4 days later) and they still replied with ‘if you let me know what you ordered’… really!?
It’s just an absolute joke to be honest, they need to buck up their ideas before they lose even more customers.

Unable to keep up with supply and demand
I have been using this company for some time due to be happy with the condition my hair results are. Unfortunately now I'm begins to rethink my customer base with them. The first issue was that they took more than a week and posted in an inbox instead of the money I paid for home delivery. I wanted to share my first review of…
I wanted to share my first review of Give Me Cosmetics. I used the Aloe Vera and Coconut set on my locs for the first time on 3rd September.
I honestly thought it might be too much for my thick locs, but I was actually really impressed. My hair feels soft and moisturised, and it hasn’t dried out my hair or my scalp. There’s also no scent, which I really like, I colour my locs also so I wanted to try this products.
I’ve tried other products on my locs that haven’t worked as well, so I wanted to share this because I know some Black women with locs might not think to try these products, but so far they’ve worked really well for my hair.
This is only my first impression as I’ve just started using them this week, so I’ll do another review in a couple of weeks and see how my hair feels with continued use.
