Great. Got big lonterm client with Gigradar

It was a drastical change in my business after I started using it. We grew x5 and it helps us to get a stable pipeline of leads continuously.

I’ve been using GigRadar for a few months now, and overall, it’s been a helpful addition to my Upwork strategy, especially considering how time-consuming the manual bidding process can be. The standout feature for me is definitely the auto-bidder. It is a real time-saver and the main reason I decided to give the platform a try.

Before GigRadar, I barely used Upwork because I didn’t have the time to sit around and send out proposals all day. Automating that process has helped me stay consistent in client outreach without taking focus away from running my business. That said, it’s not a magic bullet. I sent around 100 proposals and ended up landing two clients, which translates to about a 2% conversion rate. My reply rate was roughly 10%, which is decent but lower than what was originally suggested during onboarding.

There were initial concerns about the quality of AI-generated proposals and how clients might perceive them. Some clients can tell they’re not manually written, so it really becomes a numbers game: you get more visibility, but you still need to convert and close the deals yourself, which remains a challenge in a competitive space.

To summarise:
✅ Good for saving time through automation
✅ Okayish reply rate if your profile and scanners are well set up
❗ You still need to put in the work to close deals
❗ AI-generated proposals can feel generic and might not work for a lot of clients

If you’ve got the budget and realistic expectations, GigRadar is worth trying, especially if you're looking to scale your outreach on Upwork without burning out. Just remember, it’s a tool, not a complete solution.

The only thing stopping gig radar from scaling is their pricing which I think should have multiple tiers for small freelancers to be able to afford it.

As the CEO of a women-owned staffing firm, I joined a scheduled product demo with one of their representatives, Anna. I had my toddler seated in a high chair beside me while he ate breakfast—something I’ve done countless times while running a successful business for the past five years.

To be told that the meeting could not proceed simply because my child was present was not only unprofessional, it was discriminatory. I was fully prepared to engage in the demo, and my son’s presence in no way hindered my ability to participate. This kind of tone-deaf behavior sends a loud and clear message: working mothers are not welcome or respected here.

I will absolutely not be doing business with a company that chooses to penalize women for balancing work and motherhood.

The team is so helpful when it comes to getting everything set up and its truly been a game changer being able to (mostly) set and forget my lead generation efforts on upwork. I do a once monthly refresh / check-in for LRR but other than that its fully automated. I've gotten SO many good, recurring clients that came from proposals I did with gigradar.
