Truely poor shoes and service
After seeing incredible looking shoes on their website and wanting to invest in a good pair of loafers for a while, I fell for G. H Bass' advertising.
The shoes are truely unwearable and by far the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. They are at a really expensive price point for what I would deffinatley say a very cheap pair of shoes made qith poor materials. Avoid at all cost and dont even bother writing to customer service, they won't respond.

It is very discouraging to make a purchase from a supposedly reputable company like GH Bass, which claims to ship orders through another supposedly reputable company, DHL, only to find—after more than a month—that neither of them has taken responsibility for the shipment.
It is unacceptable that I, as the customer, have to be the one chasing the issue, only to discover that the delivery company has not been truthful: they never came to my home, nor did they leave any notification. When I file a complaint, both companies shift the responsibility onto each other, each claiming that I am the one who must pursue the matter with the other party.
I sincerely hope that this way of doing business disappears soon, and that companies unable to meet basic standards of professionalism ultimately cease operating and stop misleading consumers.

Very disappointing experience for a brand that claims to be “premium”.
€210 shoes, €9.95 delivery fees, and on top of that the customer is expected to pay for returns, even when the shoes are clearly badly sized. I ordered a 38.5 while I normally wear a 39, and they were still too large.
To make things worse, I received an obviously AI-generated, pre-written reply one minute after sending my complaint, which is extremely disappointing for a supposedly premium brand.
The bare minimum would have been to cover my return shipping costs for a pair that does not fit due to their own sizing issues.
Best Customer service ever
I had a hard time finding the right size (they run small) but Kristy helped my step by step giving me a code for the return shipment and let me order two pairs of loafers to best find my sizing a second time refunding yet again the shipment and giving me a discount on the order.
Overall amazing customer service, the shoes are staple!
Poor Experience
Poor Experience, untrue sizes and a lot of expences, around 18€, for ordering a wrong size. Not worth ordering if you arent dead on with your size, which is impossible online and with their sizing.

J’ai commandé ma première paire de G.H.Bass sur le site durant les soldes, les offres étant intéressantes malgré des frais de port de 10€. Malheureusement, les chaussures se sont avérées beaucoup trop serrées alors que la longueur semblait bonne, et que j’avais bien étudié le guide des tailles à disposition sur le site. Vu la rigidité du cuir, je n’ai pas voulu tenter le diable et ai décidé de les retourner, avec 7,50€ de frais d’envoi à ma charge. Quel dommage de ne pas mieux informer les clients, là c’était tout bonnement importable. Finalement, j’ai perdu 17,50€ ce qui n’est pas rien. La qualité ne semblait pas particulièrement au rendez-vous. Je n’achèterai pas auprès de cette marque à l’avenir et déconseille particulièrement si vous n’êtes pas au Royaume-Uni en raison des frais de port et de retour démesurés.
Je mets deux étoiles pour le packaging soigné, mais j’aurais préféré des souliers plus soignés plutôt qu’une jolie boîte et une pochette contenant le bon de livraison…

The pattern on my shoes had also been pressed so hard that the leather started to separate in some places. I contacted the customer service and they cleared themselves by saying that the tear happened "because of wear that can occur even after limited use". Has anyone had their leather shoes from a quality brand tearing apart after couple of uses? I haven't even had that after years of use from any other shoes... They said they also couldn't do anything because the shoes weren't in their original condition (I added a topy which obviously looked completely new because I had use the shoes only twice). What a convenient excuse to not admit their product was poor quality.

I bought the Weejun Penny Loafers about a month ago because I loved the design and was willing to invest in what I thought would be high-quality shoes. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Even though I ordered my usual size, the shoes are at least half a size too big, and after wearing them just twice, I developed severe heel pain. They’re unwearable for me now.
What made things worse was the customer service. When I contacted them, I was told I couldn’t exchange the shoes because they had supposedly been worn outside — but honestly, how are you supposed to know if shoes fit properly without walking in them?
There was no understanding, no flexibility, and certainly no goodwill — just a flat refusal to help. For the high price point, I expected not just quality but also customer support you can rely on.
Save your money and shop elsewhere — the fit is unreliable, and the service is not guaranteed. Sadly, this was my first and last purchase here.

Ho comprato un paio di panama lincoln in marrone chiaro: molto bello il colore ma non fedele alla foto. Bello il design stile gucci horsebit, ho preso un numero in meno e calzano perfetti. Peccato per un po’ di colore nero che rimane sulle mani quando tocchi il tacco o la suola. Per il resto sembrano ben fatti, forse troppo costosi. Duri all’inizio ma si ammorbidiscono molto.

I don't normally receive reviews but I don't normally receive such a superb service, if you are considering a company to make feet happy then you have just found them!! the costs are negligible compared to what you get for your dollar, cant recommended highly enough, great job guys take a bow and a massive thank you to you Claire Bosworth, your professionalism and customer service was exceptional, you are brilliant, take a very well earned bow. one very satisfied customer :)
Do Not Buy from G.H. Bass!
Do not order anything from this company! I ordered shoes on Black Friday. The shoes were plainly marked 30% off. They charged me full price. It has been 2 1/2 months and I have been in correspondence with the company. I have been told every time they will get back to me. They stole money from me. So dishonest.

Not what I expected
I happily paid ove £200 for a pair of tassel loafers
I have to say that they fitted fine as I have a wide foot and just ordered my usual size.
I wore them a couple of times and have to say how happy I was. But….
I fell foul of wearing them on a polished floor that had some water on and I felt like (Robin Cousins) as I slipped across the floor. Thankfully no damage done.
So I thought for my own future safety I’d change out the sole and heel to Dainite studded soles
Dropped them into my cobbler
He was less than impressed with the construction of the shoes. The heel block he said was like compressed cardboard.
The welt was a mock welt and the stitching was done internally.
The leather outsole had already after three wears started to crease.
Now I love the look of these shoes and with the addition of the Dainite soles I’m a lot happier but this is just a warning that these shoes although a premium price are not the best construction and probably won’t stand up to many repairs.

Bought a pair of the Fred Perry/Weejuns Larson loafers.
First pair, the leather tore at the toe after about fifteen wears. To be fair, GH Bass replaced them promptly and without fuss.
The replacement pair, I didn't wear much. Because they don't make them any more. Today on the tenth outing with them. The leather split at the top of the vamp. As I was getting out of the car.
I really don't think I'll be buying from them again as the leather seems to be plastic coated cardboard or something. Certainly not the quality I'd expect for a £180 pair of shoes. My Dr Martens that I do absolutely miles of dog walking in daily (5-10 miles). While having a reputation for poor quality leather on their overseas made boots, have outlasted them despite a really hard life.
It's not like I do miles in them. At most it's an evening out. Which I drove to.
I can't even be bothered to contact GH Bass about the problem. If they replace them, it's just more disappointment to come further down the line. Gave up on em as a bad job
Dreadful shoes
Dreadful shoes. I bought a pair of Larson loafers which were faulty; every step the shoe clicked like a tap dancing shoe. I sent them back and explained my issue. They claimed the shoe was fine but nonetheless sent out another pair. Within a few wears the heel section, the leather at the top of the heel of the shoe had split in several places. I was astonished by how cheap these shoes are. Really tough leather, not quality supple leather that stretches and moulds to your foot. Over the time I have had the shoes, the left one makes my foot swell. Most recently, this landed me in accident and emergency as I wore the shoes after an operation, my foot doubled in size and my dr thought I had a blood clot. I still have a swollen foot two months later. If you are getting these as they are cheaper than better penny loafers then just wait until you have enough to get a Gucci pair or some other brand or go cheap altogether and get a pair from Office but DO NOT BUY THESE DREADFUL SHOES. I will never buy from this company again, I’d rather go barefoot.

When i asked the support why it didn't apply to my order he rudely corrected me and said there was an asterix. There was not. When he saw my screenshot he just said it was a mistake and would be fixed. No apology or nothing.
