Het kan zijn dat foto’s die niet met een mobiel worden genomen lastiger door het monitoringssysteem worden goedgekeurd op echtheid. Dit het ermee te maken dat je telefoon o.a. data toevoegt aan de foto zodat we kunnen controleren of deze real-time is genomen. Uit het systeem blijkt dat je ondertussen geverifieerd bent, en toegang hebt gekregen tot je virtual card.

They are happy to take your money then you have to start the longest verification process ive ever seen.
Would not recomend i ended up not using it, as it was to many hoops betwen paying and being able to use the card.

Zeer fijne en betrouwbare service
Ik ben zeer maar dan ook zeer tevreden met de klantenservice die getsby aanbiedt. Ik heb een probleem gehad met hun samenwerking met de firma dipocket, maar getsby heeft dit erg goed opgepakt en ook oprecht hun best gedaan om mijn bestaand probleem hierbij op te lossen.
Ik kan dus voluit zeggen dat het een zeer betrouwbare service is die je goed te woord staat en zeer snel antwoord bij een probleem. Ik had er mijn twijfels over op het begin maar die zijn zeer zeker weg en ik geef het daarom ook een dikke 5 ster!

Bedankt voor je mening.
Net als bij de anderen geldt voor jou ook hetzelfde, wet- en regelgeving maakt hierin geen onderscheid. Vanuit de toezichthouder zijn wij, net als alle andere aanbieders van (prepaid) betaalkaarten, verplicht een KYC (know your customer) uit te voeren. De nationaliteit van de kaarthouder is daar een onderdeel van.
Uit informatie in het systeem blijkt dat je geen geldige verblijfsvergunning hebt kunnen overleggen in combinatie met je non-EU/UK paspoort. In dit soort gevallen moeten we wet- en regelgeving navolgen, en mogen we je niet voorzien van toegang tot je account.
Verder hebben we je op verschillende momenten en mogelijkheden geïnformeerd dat je jezelf dient te verifiëren bij de activering van je eerste virtual card. Denk hierbij aan de algemene voorwaarden bij het aanmaken van je Getsby account, bij je account status wanneer je de virtual card besteld en bij de checkbox die je aanvinkt op de afrekenen pagina. Daarnaast kun je hierover ook informatie vinden op de “hoe werkt het” pagina en bij de veelgestelde vragen pagina.
Wat betreft het geld, hiervoor geldt dat dit gewoon is teruggestort naar je bankrekening.
Het mooie van reviews is dat deze gebaseerd zijn op eigen ervaringen/werkelijkheid. Wij staan open voor oprechte feedback, echter zullen we laster en feitelijk onjuiste reacties nooit accepteren.

De kaart werktte een aantal keer (binnen een paar minuten geld erbij gestort), nu wacht ik al extreem lang (sinds het weekend) op een betaling van €950 die maar niet toegevoegd word aan het saldo.
Support vrijwel onbereikbaar, je mag van mazzel spreken als je 1x op een dag een emailtje terugkrijgt.
Jammer. Dit had zo handig kunnen zijn.

Uit controle blijkt dat het monitoringssysteem de overboeking tijdelijk geblokkeerd had. Nadat je contact hebt gehad met het verantwoordelijke team is het saldo toegevoegd aan je Green Card.
Dat het monitoringssysteem overboekingen opmerkt is normaal, we zijn alleen nog aan het uitzoeken of er een melding verstuurd is.
Onze excuses voor de onduidelijkheid waarom het saldo niet direct was toegevoegd.

Wanted a virtual card to make online payments but they dont make it clear they need an image of your face to prove ID.
They take your money first then hit you with the ID request. I got a refund all fine but they didnt refund any fees, nice little money earner for them. AVOID!!!
Edit to response - Your correct, I should have read every term and condition, and all the info and small print. Hopefully this review will help others not make the same mistake, I see from other reviews I'm not the first.

We truly appreciate feedback, as it is a way to learn from people. However, we struggle a bit with yours, especially if you look at the facts.
Indeed, you have to verify to activate your virtual card, just like you have to verify for any other legitimate prepaid/debit/credit card or banking solution in the EU/UK.
We've opted for the verification after the initial card, and have chosen to inform customers on three occasions prior to purchasing the initial virtual card that they would need to verify for their card account.
This information was provided in the T&C’s you agreed to when registering for an account, the account status in your dashboard and the one-time checkbox on the checkout page.
Your feedback suggests that the verification process is like a surprise, however, it's an industry standard and you were informed accordingly.
If you feel misinformed, we can imagine that you think that your review is justified. We have a different opinion on this, but we will respect yours.
Seeing we have lost you as a customer, we can only advise you to read the information that is provided to you for future financial products.

Easy refund
Quickly got a refund when I couldn't get past the initial verification process (not their fault), they answered my first email within 30 minutes. Wish they could force you to verify account before you can buy your first virtual card.

Waardeloos, werkt voor geen meter gezien je enkel foutmeldingen krijgt en er uiteindelijk niets mee kan betalen.

I've been using Getsby for a month now, and my experience has been mostly positive. The ease of use is commendable, although the verification process could be improved with timely email alerts. Most transactions are processed immediately, and bank transfers are completed within a few hours.
While the customer support team is responsive and even provided a contact number for assistance, I found it challenging to reach them via phone. However, they were proactive in following up with an email to ensure my concerns were addressed.

In regards to security, there will be an upgrade in the next few weeks to allow biometric (face-ID/touch-ID) registration and login to your account.
For the near future, we only intend to provide a service to use virtual cards for (online) spending. On our roadmap, we have an integration/upgrade planned for the portal. We are looking into creating more of a wallet solution with additional benefits, one of which would be the intend to lowering costs. 1. "Why do you even need to verify your face for a virtual one-time use creditcard?"
It is called the Anti-money laundering directive, to be more specific AMLD5. (Google is your friend for more in-depth information regarding this topic✌🏻) These regulations apply to all prepaid/debit/credit card providers in the EU/UK. If the Electronic Money Institute (EMI) fails to meet these requirements, their license will be revoked. A proper recent example for this is UAB PayrNet, which caused months of turbulence for companies and cardholders. Since we don't want our cardholders and clients to endure the same issues, we follow the regulations. Furthermore, we provide a service that allows customers to load up to € 40K per month onto virtual cards, so it makes absolute sense to verify all our customers.
#Tip💡 If you do find a provider that does not require verification for their services, we advise to steer clear of such companies. Chances are, that they are unregulated (dodgy) resellers and/or you may experience similar issues to PayrNet's cardholders in the (near) future.
2. "Who even has proof of their address laying around anyway?"
We live in a digital world and most people would have proof of address at their fingertips. Seeing you were able to register an account on Getsby.com, order a virtual card and write your lovely review, it's safe to say you have access to a computer or mobile device. Here you will find your proof of address "laying around", from which you can download a pdf or take a screenshot of such documents.
