You have a great range and give the best service of all the on line shops. I live in Hawkes Bay where we have limited high street stores that provide specialist gear. I also like a bargain so your sale items are always worth a browse
What could you add? I am a volunteer instructor for the Hillary Award (D of E), some affiliation to this would be great, help the kids get the gear they need at a good price.

Great prices, fast shipping, Informative emails about specials and purchases with zip to take the sting off it. Love the quality brands they stock.

I have purchased a number of items from Gearshop over the years and found them to be quality, as expected and delivered in a reasonable time...also good communication during Covid-19 lockdowns etc. around delivery times was helpful. Recommend.

I recently got my second order from Gearshop, this time a York fitness kettlebell. The shopping experience was smooth, easy to checkout and delivery was quicker than I thought, being up in Auckland. Really pleased.

I'm a bit new to getting properly prepared and geared up to head out in the winter months so decided to check out the Gearshop store in Nelson. The guy instore who helped me out could not have been more helpful with advice on the right gear and suggestions for reducing my pack weight from an ever increasing number of "must haves". He spent ages with me and I felt he genuinely wanted to help me get the right items. Left the store super happy and will now head out for some well prepared winter adventures.

Ordered crocs and some other items for a child’s birthday. They arrived in the expected timeframe. Unfortunately I had ordered the wrong size but a quick phone call made the return and replacement with the correct size easy.
Very happy with the product and service received.

Excellent service, order took a couple of days to arrive but we are rural so that’s not unusual. Will shop again.
Great range of products.

I purchased some products online. They took a week to send them (I live in Wellington and the shop is in Nelson. I emailed them to ask them to cancel the order as we would have left for our trip by the time the order arrived. They refused and said they would only issue a credit. As an aside we received Kathmandu and Macpac items within 3 days of ordering. They also took ages to answer emails. Don’t order from them online.

Bought some La Sportiva boots from Gearshop which started to fall apart after wearing them for less than six months. I was told that was because I didn't use them for their "recommended purpose". After much too-and-fro I was told their intended use was for low km, non-technical, easy descent hills. But then I was finally also told that they are fine for NZ Great Walks - which is exactly what they were used for bearing in mind these are easy, well benched walks which only need light backpacks. I was also told by Gearshop that there are some known problems with the boots but they did not explain what these are. Further, I reviewed the boots as a two because they were very comfortable but the durability = very poor. Gearshop chose not to allow my review on their site. That cherry picking is why consumers like me make choices we otherwise wouldn't have if all the info was made available.

I ordered a biolite basecamp pizza bundle on their website.
I received tracking order via email. To my amazement and excitement it arrived one week later (from NZ to AU). The order arrrived in one small box. When I opened it contained only the pizza dome lid and no stove. When I called the shop the next day I was told that it was the fault of the biolite company for changing their way of packaging which caused confusion. I was promised another delivery and will be sent another tracking email. After one week and no tracking email I started to worry and called back. Same lady answered. I explained that I still havent got the tracking email and wondering about the progress. To which she sarcastically replied that the shop is in New Zealand and I'm in Australia.
No one ever apologised for their stuff up, no one ever admitted that they made mistake, they have received their money and zero care was given to ensure customer received their order in timely manner and kept informed. Nothing more nothing less.
I sensed that they have done stuff ups like this many times before and copped alot of abuse by their customers so they become so defensive and treat every customer enquiry with such displeasure and disdain. Very unprofessional. I symphathise with my Kiwi brothers and sisters having been through many natural disasters, just like every other ozzies would. I was very happy to support Kiwi business by purchasing through GearshopNZ, but not after this experience. I wish GearshopNZ all the very best luck.
