The loan officer at loan depot was excellent. He was patient, professional and answered all my questions. He made my first refinance a simplified process.

When approached to refinance my house by Loan Depot I clearly stated my requirements: the interest rate, and maximum closing costs, I was willing to pay. The agent (Bobby) promised significantly BETTER terms, so I agreed to proceed. Then, the formal "Loan Estimate" sent to me showed costs over $10,000 more than I had been promised. After many days without responses, and three more Loan Estimates all different but all with unacceptable costs, Bobby promised it would be fixed. Meanwhile I was billed for an appraisal that Bobby said would not be needed. Many days later, Bobby's boss (Rob) called to tell me that the appraisal WAS needed and the costs could not be reduced to anywhere near what I had been promised-- so I cancelled my application, and am still trying to get my appraisal fee back.

All good, nothing in the least negative, excellent. No suggestions for improvement. Helpful, informed, prompt and patient.

So far it took us 1 hour to finish the interview and the paperwork. After an hour, I have an answer on the rates, I will have and the amount of my monthly mortgage. Susan McMahon is a very professional Loan Officer. Now we’re waiting for pre-underwriting result. Hopefully we get approved.

I did not request my name and phone number to be sold to other online sites other than the site I indicated during my search.

I had a very quick approval process and the Loan officer was excellent and very professional I ended up getting a better rate and deal that the previous lender I was using.

Chelsea McEwen has been a pleasure to work with. I know I can be difficult and Chelsea has been more than patient with me.
