Made our whole experience of purchasing a house more stressful than it needed to be and would not recommend. Communication was awful for not just ourselves but our estate agent and our buyers solicitor too. Due to their poor communication we ended up having to sell our property without knowing when we will be completing on our new one as we were at risk of losing our buyer. Ourselves, our buyers solicitor and the solicitor of who we were purchasing from were all advised a completion date which didn’t end up going ahead. This caused extra expenses for ourselves that Franklins don’t want to take any accountability for. Honestly shocked by the amount of good reviews as since experiencing this and talking to others who have used Franklins, they have experienced similar issues. I emailed back to a response regarding my complaint 8 days ago and didn’t even receive a confirmation of receipt. Sums up my experience. I was waiting to leave a review to see if they would take any accountability but that seems to not be the case. It’s been 2 months since we completed on our purchase.

Rebecca Jones and the team have been good with their communications and answering all my queries throughout. Especially as it has been such a testing and drawn out sales process. The team showed much understanding and patience especially when l was at my wits end. Though I could not understand that there were so many hidden added costs with my second buyer and this caused much distress combined with the prolonged waiting to complete. But truly grateful for the positive and professional support.

They were quick to respond and provide advice; settlement with past-company sorted within 3 days of contacting them.
